Chris Stube called right away after I put the request through HomeAdvisor. He set up an appointment to see the prospective project (fix part of shed roof by replacing half of it and adding gutters). He gave me an estimate, he sent me the contract, and they started the job 2 days after. They were very friendly, down to earth, explained in detail the work done. I just have very good things to say about the workers. The job was very nicely done at the end. I would definitely hire them again. Before I hired him, 3 vendors promised an estimate, and they never got back to me. At one point, I was giving up until Kross Town came along. They were great.

Crew and materials arrived when scheduled and the work was completed with minimum-to-no fuss. Chris was knowledgeable in his craft and was able to explain in detail all necessary steps. Chris or one of his team kept me informed throughout the process. Note that while the "specified project" indicates replacing an asphalt shingle roofing, the fact that the roof had a low pitch indicated the shingle roof should be replaced by a roofing system designed for flat or low-pitched roofs. As Chris explained, a shingle roof installed on a low-pitched roof was the likely cause of the leaks that led me to have it replaced as soon as possible before the leaks became a disaster. While the new roof does not look like the traditional shingles, it does look good. I would recommend Kross Town Roofing.

I went on line and requested a roof repair through Home Advisor. My roof had been leaking into one of my windows and had even done some damage to one of my walls. By that afternoon I had a call from Chris from Kross Town Roofing. He stopped by the next evening to take a look at the roof and to provide an estimate. It was very quick and professional. He told me to look for a quote in my email later that evening. True to his word, he emailed me a quote by 7 p.m. that evening. It was a little higher than I expected but he seemed so professional, I was willing to pay it if he could deliver. I confirmed and we set a time a couple days later on Saturday for him to come out and make the repairs. He called by 10 a.m. Saturday morning and went up on the roof and made the repairs. He even noticed a few other shingles that needed repair and he just threw those in for good measure. Once he finished, I asked if I could go up on the roof and inspect. He showed me the repairs and explained in detail exactly what he had done. He also guaranteed that if I had any further leaks, he would come back out and repair. It's rained since then, and there have been no further leaks. Very satisfied with Kross Town and would recommend highly.

Chris and the crew did an outstanding job in replacing my gutters and repairing my asphalt shingle roof. The new gutters look great. The crew worked hard and completed the project promptly. Very timely and affordable. All appointments were made quickly and on-time. Very professional meeting. I needed gutters replaced. He also spotted out potential problems with the roof, and suggested better ways to pitch the gutters/downspouts away from the driveway and walks. Other contractors were satisfied in just bidding on just replacing with what what already there; not noting how to improve the house. I agreed to pay for both the gutters and roof repaired. Very satisfied with the timely results. I am more than ready for spring showers and avoiding frozen walks next winter.
