Excellent! They are very thorough, performing several system performance checks and use specialized equipment to inspect your system.

They are extremely reliable. They are prompt and available even on nights and weekends. The only complaint is it is a big company and sometimes there is some confusion.

Overall I had a very pleasant experience with this company. On the morning of the install they arrived and got right to work. One guy worked on the a/c while the other worked primarily on the furnace. It took them all day to complete the work, but they were very courteous and professional. After removing the old furnace we found a piece of the drywall cracked and bent in-wards behind where the furnace had been I asked if they could possibly repair it with whatever tools they had as once the new furnace was in place there would be no way to get to it, and they happily obliged. Once completed they cleaned up everything and explained how the new equipment works. The only issue I had was they forgot to light the pilot light to the water heater when they had finished and I did not discover it until the next morning. I called them and later that morning a technician was out to light it and also check the water heater at no charge. It was an honest mistake and it was no hassle to get it resolved.

The furnace stopped working and the house was freezing with a newborn in the house. I called the company that I usually use and they said they could not come until the next day. I checked Angies list and found American Comfort One Hour Heating and gave them a call. They were very polite, the serviceman was clean and didn t make a mess, and they came the same day. The bill was less than expected and less than what I would have paid with the company I was using. Thank you American Comfort One Hour Heating !!!

I don't think I'll ever be using this company again. I wouldn't say that they were bad, but I wouldn't consider them to be above average. Ever since the new management I haven't been happy. The new prices are a lot higher than the old owner's.

My experience with American Comforts One Hour Heating & Air conditioning was extremely memorable. Upon calling the service number a technician was immediately sent to my home to access the situation. Bill the service representative was extremely helpful and explained everything in great detail about my present furnace/AC with going into every component. This was helpful as I really was not wanting to replace my furnace. Once Bill explained and showed me how my A-Coil was completely rotted out and the furnace burners were also deteriorated to nothing, I did end up purchasing a new system. I say this now as he showed me the existing one and brought new components from his truck, it was obvious I had some serious problems. Bill discussed all my options with price as he definitely was ready to repair but the repair costs were in the neighborhood of the cost of a new unit. Given the age of my present setup I went with a new system. I couldn't be happier Bill didn't push the most expensive unit on me so when I tell you WOW, I mean WOW this new furnace has lowered my monthly bills, runs much quieter and cools my house incredibly. The installation was smooth they were very professional and kept a clean area. After the installation Bill took the time to completely explain everything to me and placed there sticker on the unit should a service need arrive. I can't say enough good things as I was back in operation with a new unit one day after my call, and they were at my house in less than an hour of my initial call.

Permanent filters were not taken out and washed outside as in previous tuneups. I was told they weren't very dirty and didn't need the extra cleaning. Otherwise, everything was done quickly with the minimum amount of selling on other products (whole house air cleaner) or services (service contract).

Their servicemen were extremely polite and professional. They arrived on time and left a very clean worksite. I am so glad I chose them and wouldn't think of having anyone else service my system. I would recommend them to everyone in need of their services. Truly an expert in their field.

Excellent. A few days before Christmas, the furnace and hot water tank went out. They were called. Gave us a great deal and put them in the next day. No mess or fuss. A pleasure to work with. Everything went great. They even called twice to make sure everything was working properly.

On time, great price and truly a professional organization from start to finish.

They do quality work. Their people were very knowledgeable, and even wore booties when in my home. They really went out of their way to protect my home. I have known them for years and will continue to use them.

They come back to make adjustments twice and replaced the motor which was still under warranty.

WOKE UP TO A LAUNDRY ROOM FULL OF WATER! SIGNED ON TO ANGIE'S AND FOUND AMERICAN COMFORT. CALLED AT 7AM AND THEY PICKED UP ON THE 2ND RING. $79.00 SERVICE CALL. TOLD THEM MY W/H WAS LEAKING AND THEY SENT SOMEONE OUT WITHIN A FEW HOURS OF MY CALL. THEY CHECKED MY W/H AND SAID IT WAS CRACKED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. IF I DECIDED TO PURCHASE FROM THEM, THE $79.00 WOULD BE APPLIED TO NEW W/H. THEY STOPPED BACK AT THEIR SHOP AND GOT A NEW W/H AND CAME BACK OUT AND INSTALLED THE SAME DAY! NO MORE COLD SHOWERS FOR US!!! THEY WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND VERY NICE TO WORK WITH. I WILL BE SURE TO CALL THEM BACK FOR MY OTHER HEAT-A/C FUTURE NEEDS. THIS COMPANY IS PROFESSIONAL AND YOU WILL HAVE NO WORRIES WHEN YOU CALL THEM FOR ASSISTANCE!

SERGIO, THE TECHNICIAN, WAS ON TIME AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. WHEN TESTING THE EQUIPMENT, I.E. CAPACITORS, COMPRESSOR AND FAN MOTORS, HE MADE IT KNOWN THAT ALL WERE FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. HOWEVER THE ONE CAPACITOR TESTED A LITTLE LOW, BUT STILL WITHIN OPERABLE LIMITS. HE SUGGESTED THAT THEY MAY NEED REPLACING SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE. THE TECHNICIAN WAS POLITE, AND HE WAS ON TIME. THE PRICE IS ABOUT AVERAGE, & WHAT OTHER COMPANIES WOULD CHARGE.

INSPECTOR CATEGORIZED 15-YEAR-OLD HEATING SYSTEM AS ''DANGEROUS'', CONTACTED SALES REP WHO CAME OUT WITHIN 2 HOURS TO MEASURE AND ESTIMATE COST OF NEW SYSTEM. HEATING AND AC INSTALLED 2 DAYS LATER. INSTALLATION SERVICEMEN COMPLETED JOB 2 HOURS EARLIER THAN ESTIMATED AND LEFT AREA VERY CLEAN.

I THINK THE WORK HE DID WAS FINE. HE WAS PROMPT AND CLEAN. I DID FEEL THAT HIS ATTITUDE WAS A LITTLE POOR BECAUSE HE KEPT MAKING REFERENCE TO HOW FAR HE HAD TO COME TO SERVE MY HEATING AND COOLING NEEDS. PROFESSIONALISM WAS LESS THAN GOOD.

THIS COMPANY HAS TAKEN CARE OF MY HEATING & A/C FOR SEVERAL YEARS SO THEY WERE MY 1ST CHOICE TO FIX THE SEWER BACKUP. UNFORTUNATELY, THEY SAID THAT THE PLUMBER (FOR MY AREA?) WOULD BE OUT FOR A FEW DAYS DUE TO A BACK INJURY. I REALLY COULDN'T WAIT SO I CALLED ANOTHER CO. BECAUSE THEY HAD A COUPON. WHEN THEIR PLUMBER TRIED TO SCAM ME, I CALLED AMERICAN COMFORT BACK AND TOLD THEM WHAT HAD HAPPENED. I ASKED TO BE FIRST ON THEIR LIST TO HAVE THEIR PLUMBER COME WITH A CAMERA & CHECK THE MAIN LINE. THEY FELT BAD THAT I HAD SO MUCH TROUBLE WITH THE OTHER COMPANY SO THEY SENT ANOTHER PLUMBER OUT THE NEXT DAY TO CHECK THE LINE WHICH WAS CLEAR. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE TIME THE PLUMBER TOOK TO EXPLAIN WHERE THE SEWER LINES WENT AND WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED A BLOCKAGE.

IVE USED THEM FOR SOME TIME, AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO, VERY CONCERNED ABOUT OUR LACK OF HEAT, VERY RESPONSIVE TO THE SITUATION.

THIS COMPANY EVEN DOES FOLLOW UP AFTER THE INSTALLATION.
