One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning

When the technician was running late, we were notified of his progress and were fine with that since you can't predict how a day will go. The technician was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly went to work on both of our systems, explaining what he was going to do, and answering any questions we had. It was a straightforward process and we're happy we've found a company to worth with after two other disappointing experiences with other companies.

The technician (ED) came earlier than expected, which was great because it was in the 90s and our AC went out. He was friendly and professional. Explained what was going on with the AC unit and serviced it in a timely manner. He offered us to join the club membership in which had some great benefits and explained to us in more detail the best way to use our AC in the summer months. Excellent service, very informative!! I'd give them an A++ if I could.

The work was done well. The technician fixed the problem. My biggest complaint is that they spend an hour trying to sell you a preferred customer package that added considerably(hundreds) to the total cost. It was my first time using this company, and I wasn't about to spend that amount on a "discount" program.

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning did a fine job. They were very nice and arrived on time. They might have given a couple of suggestions to help me.

I ended up spending more on the big deal for One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. It was $100 on top of the big deal. They were on time. I would possibly use them again in the future.

They didn't perform any service because I had a boiler and not a furnace.

Found a failing contactor in one and replaced the contactors in both units without my permission. Said he'd give me the second one for no charge if I had a concern, but then charged me for both anyway. Pricing to replace this $30 part was exorbitant, in my opinion.

He was a nice man and arrived on time for the appointment. He was professional and did the work as stated with the deal.

Came promptly, acted professionally and did a good job servicing my ac for considerably less than the people I had been using before. He also looked at the heating and hot water system.

Price was most expensive out of three estimates (~$1500 for replacement and installation of a lowboy water heater). Decided to go with another vendor.

After being very pleased with my first experience with One Hour in January for a much overdue furnace check on a 25 year-old furnace -- which included a visual viewing of the inside of my furnace, I signed up for a Club membership at the discounted rate of $14 per month which covered an A/C check in the coming year and discounts on other services. Turns out I needed one of those other services in mid-April when I noticed my furnace stopped running late in the evening. I called the 24 hour service and a technician was at my home within a couple hours -- and the only reason I had to wait that long was because of all the calls for those with issues related to the recent floods in the area. The tech diagnosed the problem -- which appeared to be that the automatic shut-off on the furnace was triggered because the vent to the outside was blocked, possibly due to the strong winds that day -- and, because I was a Club member, I paid $100 less for the service call. Both technicians were professional and very informative.

Booked an 8 am-12 pm visit well in advance, but tech did not arrive so finally called dispatcher at 1:15 who then paged tech. Tech, Sergio, called immediately and apologized for delay. He explained that Dispatch is responsible for keeping customers informed of delays bcz they coordinate his schedule and driving distances between jobs. Upon his arrival, he introduced himself, apologized again, and immediately got to work inspecting the AC unit and filter inside, then the system outside. He carefully described each step he was taking and why. He replaced a damaged valve which had been leaking freon and topped off the system with freon at no charge. He also recommended covering the top of the AC unit with a sheet of plywood in the winter to protect the internal components of the unit from winter weather damage (but not wrapping it like a package). Sergio was very competent, friendly, and polite. Definitely want him back to check my heating system in the fall! 5-27-13 Bryan with Customer Care called our home, left a message, and emailed us to apologize for the delayed arrival of their technician. Very thoughtful of him to be so responsive to customer concerns. Offered us a complimentary AC tune-up for next spring as a means of extending his apologies. Wow! That is extremely considerate and professional. I know who I am recommending to all my friends for HVAC service - One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning!

You never know what you are going to get with a big national company. I was drawn to One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning because of a deal on Angie's List and the positive reviews. When I first called, I was shocked to hear how long it would be to get someone out, due to how busy they were. I explained that my mom had breathing problems and I was concerned about the air conditioning and they were SO responsive. Rose provided exceptional, personal service and even though my mom called her a few times to change things or get clarification, she remained cheerful and helpful - I really felt like I was dealing with a small company. The first time Sergio came out, there was a mix up with what I needed to do to get clearance from my condo association, meaning I pretty much wasted his time. He was kind and very understanding of the problem. Finally, the stars aligned and I was able to get the tune up (and the repairs that were discovered). Sergio squeezed us in after a long day and arrived friendly and cheerful. He explained exactly what he was going to do and what I could expect. I appreciated what a fantastic communicator he was. When he discovered there was a piece that needed to be replaced, he explained to me, in terms I understood, why the repair was highly recommended. He also advised me of future work I may want to have done next year, but did not pressure me. After fixing everything, he sat with me to explain everything that he did while he was working with the unit, showed me the piece that was replaced, and continually asked if I had questions. He was very thorough and considerate - he also got along very nicely with my dog! His and Rose's customer service was fantastic. I feel very fortunate to know I have a "go-to" place for this kind of work! If you want a small-company feel with a national company, this is absolutely the service provider for you!

Easy to deal with. They were right on time and finished the job prompty and explained everything they did.

It went great. They cleaned and checked both systems, found no problems and made some valuable suggestions for the future. I bought a new filter after they left and had trouble installing it. I called them and the owner walked me thru it over the phone.

Ed was clean and efficient. Gave me some good tips on air cleaners and saving & on heating and cooling costs.

Art Herrera did a wonderful job cleaning the ductwork, registers, and cold air returns. He was very efficient, very clean, no dust left in the house, also sanitized the ductwork when he was done. He was also a very nice gentleman, and we will ask for him in the future.

They respond very quickly. Their response is good their expertise is good.

After I purchased a big deal for AC spring tuneup and fall furnace tuneup, I received a call within a few days to schedule. After scheduling, I received an email with all the details. I then received a follow up call as the appointment neared. I then received a call the day before informing me that I would get called when the service technician was near. Arturo arrived and was very polite and professional. He did both AC units and was very thorough. He found a mouse nest with chewed wires and asked if I wanted them replaced or taped up. No pressure to do the fix, but I though lets do the job right. He quoted a reasonable price and the work was done. Finally I have found a professional , very good HVAC company I can count on

Mike, the service technician, was great. No only was he punctual, friendly, polite and courteous of equal or greater importance to me is that he was knowledgeable and thorough in explaining the inner workings of a tank water heater. Based on his analysis, my tank needs replacing, and though I would have loved for One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning to do the work, their price is not in my budget. The 40 gallon tank they offer is probably a great tank, but what I need is a good affordable tank not necessarily a great tank that will out live me. Strictly based on my great experience with Mike I will call One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning as needed in the future.

The inspection want as expected, no surprises, always a good thing. Professional and on time.

I wasn't home but my daughter raved about the gentlemen who performed the services. He was very professional and courteous and provided information about the furnaces.

I discovered on one of the coldest days of the winter season, that my furnace had stopped working. After checking several sources, including Angie's List, I decided on One Hour Heating and Cooling. When they arrived at the property, their technician said that I could rest assured that they would get my heating system up and running as soon as possible. I knew I had been running on borrowed time, because my old furnace was originally installed when this house was built 18 years ago. Therefore, I decided to replace the old furnace with a new, energy efficient unit. One of the problems I had was the fact that this property is a townhouse with no basement. The furnace is in the utility room with all the other items, (water heater, washer, dryer, etc.) The space available for the furnace is only 17" wide, leaving me with few options as far as new units go. One Hour exceeded my expectations, showing me all the available models that would serve my purpose, and installed the new furnace in a very tight space within hours. The temperature in the house never dropped below 65° before the new furnace was up and running! The One Hour installers, Ed, Andrew, and Joe were courteous, knowledgeable professionals. They kept me informed on the progress of the installation, and made sure all my questions were answered before they left. They also made sure that everything was cleaned up and all the old parts were hauled away. I am very happy with my new two-stage furnace. The temperature on both levels of the house is more consistent than it was in the past. The furnace runs quietly and efficiently. I couldn't be happier with the installation, and it's great to know that I have an excellent warranty! Also, since things went as well with the furnace, I decided to upgrade my air conditioner as well. The outside compressor unit was rusting out, and it was costing more and more each summer to cool the space, especially with a cathedral ceiling. One Hour provided me with a complete system including condensing coils and outside compressor at the same time as the furnace. I'm hoping to see the difference in electrical bills this summer!
