One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning

My experience went very well. The technician was very courteous and helpful. He did a great job and I feel he went above and beyond to be as thorough as possible. He even provided more options & I learned a few great tips from him. I will be keeping him in my contacts for future use!

That experience was excellent. The individual who serviced us, explained things during the time he was working and was willing to answer our questions. He also advised us on how we could take the care of the air conditioner. I purchased the deal for $50. I did sign up for a membership which is like around $20 a month.

On time, did what he was supposed to do, answered a couple of questions.

They did a diagnosis. They were actually good. The person who came, Jeff was really nice, smart, he knew what he was doing. He is a very knowledgeable technician. He showed me what to do when it was dead. They seemed fair and reasonable. They did what i asked them. The price was a little high for the check.

Everything was very good with two exceptions. The servicemen showed up on time, were very courteous and friendly, concerned about cleanliness, and provided the services as per the service agreement. (AC Inspection and TuneUp). The two exceptions: (1) they quoted me $225 to replace a $35 part (capacitor), (2) I later learned they did not plug the main fuse to the AC unit to ON position but instead to the OFF position. This caused my wife great concern and aggravation on a 90º spring day with temps reaching 80º inside the house because she could not get the AC to turn on.

They did a good job and the price was right. The inspection was thorough and the service tech was helpful with my questions.

Went quickly. Had them come back and replace one of the furnaces. Clean installation.

He did a great job. He did try to sell a maintenance package before he left but he was very polite when I turned his offer down.

Services performed as stated. Closed an action item on our townhouse before we sold it. Easy and good service.

Service call went very well. Frank, the technician, was polite and business oriented. Service call took a little over 2 hours. He offered some recommendations to improve the serviceability of my unit. He also quoted a few prices for installing a Humidifier. He said the quotes would be included in my receipt being eMailed to me. Quotes were not included. :o(

Called ahead of time to inform that the serviceman will be coming. Did not have the appropriate filter for one humidifier, so rescheduled. Once that part was received, he came back again to finish up the work.

Thier receptionist Rose was extremely easy to work with. She is great with scheduling. The technicians were very knowledgable and cleaned up after the work. They explained everything they were doing and answered all my questions,. All were very competent and professional. I have and would use them again.

He charged $65 to replace the filter of the humidifier and to clean it. He is fine except that they are expensive. I just felt that $65 for the filter was a little bit high. I didn't have some issue before but I just wanted to check because we haven't checked it for almost three years. It's a new furnace and we are living in a house only like three years old. We knew that the furnace is not very strong because it's a 2-storey and it doesn't reach up there in which it was suppose to have reach up but it's not reaching. His comment was the choice of the furnace is not very adequate for the size of the house. The $49 Big Deal was a very good deal but he wanted us to enroll in the maintenance. He came on time, he was lost a little but it wasn't his fault.

He performed the inspection, but then tried to sell me an expensive humidifier package.

My experience was very good. Scheduled was fine. He did find one part that he thought needed replaced. Once they came back out to repair the part, they misread the gauage and ended up not needing to replace the part. I liked how honest they were with me and I was impressed with that. I felt the price was fair for the service they did.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. They were professional, they came on time, and they cleaned up after themselves. They made the appointment and they confirmed before they came. They did a great service and they did what they were supposed to do. I have no complaints. Overall, it went great. It was excellent!

They had all the parts they needed on the truck, finished fixing our furnace in just a few hours, great experience!

The cleaning consisted of dusting many of the internal parts. He inspected the gas lines to make sure everything was firing evenly and it was. He also checked the capacitors, which he indicated were low and needed to be replaced. It makes me wonder if his tool to evaluate the capacitors was calibrated right since both capacitors were rated about the same. The only problem is that one of the furnaces has been buzzing / humming at all times since he left and they never responded to my inquiry about it.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company. It was fine. But I felt like I didn't get as much service as was written up in the description of what you get for the cleaning and inspection. I'm not a hundred percent sure about that, it's just when they left I was just a little bit unsettled that I had been anticipating more than I got. We set up a time and they came out at a mutually agreeable time. The guy said this what I'm going to do this and this and I don't do this with the $49 deal. I was fine with it at the time although I was excited that I was going to have my furnace looked at because I was concerned about it. I'm so a non-technical person that I'm not good talking to. I need to do my research and homework before so when I have somebody here I know what to ask and what to look for. I'm glad I did it. He wanted to sell me the whole sha-bang. You get handed this is what you really need to have done.

Our expectation was that inspection and cleaning would include furnace blower as well as burner. Unfortunately, it did not, but that may have been our issue. Reinforces that you need to understand fully what is being offered in the deal.

First of all, the customer service is really outstanding. Scheduling was easy, I received a call confirming my appointment, and the professional showed up on time. As a first time home owner, I found the guy very informative, and he gave me lots of advice. I ended up signing up for a monthly package - I need to get some extra work done on my older furnace, and you get some nicely reduced prices when you sign up for this. He also arranged for someone to come out and give me an estimate on a new furnace. I decided against it - due to a few reasons - but the price I was quoted was a bit high. They did, however, offer an awesome financing package.

They did good work, but they only serviced two of my three units – the 3rd unit was too old for them to service. They didn’t have the right parts to fix the igniter, though. I would use them again in the future, provided that they could explain what happened last time.

I'm having to write this review from memory, so I'm not sure how accurate I am with dates and numbers. Also, some of the price, quality and professionalism scores I provided don't mean much, because I don't have enough information to make a judgment about them. The technician seemed honest and knowledgeable, but I don't know enough about HVAC systems to know if I was taken for a ride or if a $49 special was appropriately raised to $200-ish, but the battery thing sure felt a lot like bait and switch. In 30 years of home ownership, I can't remember ever having to replace a battery in a furnace. I might hire this company one other time to see if they stick with the "not clean and check," but I'm sufficiently uncomfortable with the visit that I also might not invite them back.

ok, but thought that service was covered w/ the Angie's list voucher purchased.

They were scamming. They came out and told me that my furnace, which was working, was broken and it needed a new motor. They tried to sell me a new motor or a brand new furnace. I told somebody else about it and told them what the motor was that I needed. They brought a new motor for me at half the cost of what the other place was. They took a look at it and said the wires were disconnected from the motor. So the guy disconnected the wires from the motor and said that the motor need a replacement. There was nothing actually wrong with my furnace. I also have another furnace and he was supposed to clean it and they just went through it with a vacuum and kind of vacuumed it out. They didn't actually do the work that was supposed to be done. I paid for something that they didn't do.
