One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning

The first time they came out it was OK. Like a month later my AC unit stopped working and they came back out they replaced a wire. They did not charge me anything additionally for this. Their follow-up was good and they were punctual for both appointments.

The service went fine. One technician came out and completed the job in about 1 hour. He did an okay job and also gave us a final report with some service recommendations. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

Technician was punctual...the coupon I purchased on Angie's list did not apply based on what I asked to have done..Technician called the office and got approval to apply the coupon anyway..this encouraged me to give them additional business, based on their willingness to work with me

It went very well. One Hour communicated quickly, was able to accommodate my schedule, and performed the work in a professional manner. They clearly explained the system and any signs of wear, and what to expect ongoing from the system. I recommend them and would use them again.

This was my first time using a provider on Angie's List, and the whole experience was fabulous. Jason from One Hour showed up on time and was personable and friendly. He explained what he was going to do and he was off. Because I haven't had any service in about five years, I knew a few things would need to be done, and that held true. Jason explained the needed services so I understood and wasn't pushy about having them completed while he was there. He talked about what would be beneficial for me to have done as far as the output of the unit, and I decided to have the work done. I can say he was absolutely right. I'm not a big a/c user, however, when I turned it on this past weekend, my upstairs actually felt cold -- which is way better than the slightly cool I had before. I highly recommend them for anyone considering a/c service. In fact, I will have them back in October to service my furnace!

Excellent experience. Jeff was friendly, competent, and professional. He even washed my furnace filters for me, which he didn't have to do.

Communication throughout was great, from setting up the appointment to the time of arrival. Very professional company. Rick did our tune up and was very professional. He found a problem with our unit and brought me out to the unit to show me what he found. Our unit was over 30 years old and Rick was able to answer all my questions in regards to our options for fixing or replacing the unit.

The service man checked the furnace blower, drain line, filter, capacitor and to ensure that the inside mechanics is working appropriately. The he moved on to check the AC unit outsider. He performed the check of the capacitor, output wattage, and fans. He cleaned the evaporator and also housing of the AC. The service man also helped to secure the loosen electric box. Finally, he write an detailed report on what has been preformed. He did give some sales pitch of the regular services the company offers and additional service/parts that can help prolong the AC unit lifespan. There is no push at all. I am very satisfied with the service and I think it is professional.

It went okay, except I felt very pressured by the technician to buy more. He insisted that there was lots more work to do on the unit, totaling about $3000. In his report, he mentioned specific things that needed to be addressed and fixed. I had someone else come check it out, because after all the up-selling I was a little skeptical. I had a friend who was in the HVAC business and he looked it over and told me the tech didn't clean it right, put the air filter on backwards. To me, it sounded like One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning was making things up in order to get me to purchase more. He was also trying to sell me a membership to their "club", which was like $16 a month. Overall, I felt pressured and don't think they were being entirely truth.

The service was great. The technician showed up on time and did a great job informing my husband of the work he was performing along the way. They even sent us a follow up checklist of everything they did even showing pictures of various parts of our A/C Unit that would need work done down the road. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

It was really good. The technician was fabulous and super professional. They got the job done in about 3 hours. It did take a long time to get them to come out as they were backed up about 5 weeks. We also signed up for a program with them.

They send me a message the day after I purchased this Big Deal. They said they did not service my area.

The service was excellent. The provider was wonderful. I will use them again when needed. They were great with the scheduling and they were very accommodating with the time frame that we needed. They have a reminder system and that was very good as well. He went above and beyond for the service.

I got their $53 Angie's List deal for an Air Conditioning tune-up and cleaning. Jose came out with his assistant and exceeded expectations. Jose was extremely polite, neat and professional. He immediately pointed out that the furnace blower motor was dirty and had I had my vents cleaned. As it turned out, I had another Angie's List provider coming out later the same week to do these chores. Jose also found that the compressor outside was home to mice and told me how to keep the critters away - oil of peppermint on cotton balls once a year in the unit. After the job was done, he emailed me detailed report of the service call. Very satisfied.

The service call went well and I actually purchased a service plan, too (I was eligible for a discount). There were no issues with scheduling and they were very responsive. The HVAC has held up fine since they came out to do the work.

We purchased a big deal from One Hour Heating and Cooling without realizing it would not apply to our unit. They person we spoke with was polite and helpful and had some good suggestions about other service providers that might be able to help. We would certainly contact them again if we had an issue they could help with.

They were no troubles with scheduling and there were no additional fees beyond the cost of the deal. There were no problems and they did a fine job.

Called for the Big Deal Tune-Up at a busy time of the year. They managed to work me in within 2 weeks of calling. Since the system was working, I was fine with that. Art arrived on time, was friendly and professional, taking the time to explain the work performed and the results. He left the air conditioner looking new. No high pressure tactics here, just a very positive attitude and experience for me.

Love this company! Friendly, punctual and reliable. Job well done and did not leave a mess. Jeff Brownstein did all work for us and explained all work thoroughly, professional, excellent. We have used them for all of our furnace and air conditioning needs and will continue to do so. Highly recommend if you want the job done right.
