Description of Work: They replaced a windshield on my 2014 explorer. The total fix time was about 6 months with no less than 6 visits and 5 wind shields. They eventually fixed it. They used aftermarket parts that caused return visits due to wind noise. The insurance paid, but never again.

Description of Work: They did a great job! They fixed the window in my car as well as my husbands. They used a glue to prevent a crack from spreading.

Description of Work: They were so-so. I took my car to have some dings filled. They told me the dings had already been filled and I would need to have my windshield replaced. I can understand if the window was not repairable but I had to wait an hour for them to tell me that. If they could have told me that ahead of time, that would have been very helpful rather than waiting the hour to waste my time. They do good work, but the communication could have been better.

Description of Work: They replaced my daughters windshield, they were great, fast and I have no complaints but I don't remember when it was. Last winter some time. They were not higher then any one else they were in the ballpark

Description of Work: Safelite replaced two windows. Rear windshield and back driver side window. I called late on a Saturday night (about 11:30 p.m.) Services were scheduled for Monday a.m. but due to police activity, I had to reschedule until Wednesday. They were prompt and service was quick.

Description of Work: A small pebble richocheted off my window on car while driving. The damage was minor. I thought taking it to Safelite was a better option than replacing the entire windshield given the size as I did not want the damage to spread. Called the 1-800 number at Safelite and explained situation. Was told work was guaranteed and the store would not even do the work if it could not guarantee it. Got work done. The tehnician even confirmed to me that they could guarantee work if it was not in too bad of shape. The next morning, a new crack developed from the point of repair. Safelite refused to guarantee workmanship and would not give money back. After speaking to several people including manager, it occurred to me that this is their angle. They do not intend to guarantee work or give money back because they want the bigger sale of replacing your entire windshield, window, etc. I found this particular location (The manager/owner) to be very disrespectful and unwilling to satisfy me as the customer. I will never use their service again after this experience. After talking to others, I have learned that I am not the only one that has experienced this with this company at the SOUTH HOLLAND LOCATION. They lie saying that they guarantee their work, do shotty work and refuse to refund but will upsell to get what you never wanted in the first place- a $500 windshield! Please beware of this company. Stay as far away as you can. Money is too hard to come by. It is not necessary for companies to steal from its customers in order to stay in business.
