I was referred to Becky Foster at Wintrust by the seller's realtor, for a property I was buying, after my out of state lender started screwing up on the details. From the beginning, these guys were on their game. I wanted to close in just under 6 weeks, and they worked diligently, and aggressively to meet my goal. Well fast forward to today, and I just closed, right on time. Iwona and Michele (Becky's support team) were truly the ones that made the experience seamless. They provided lots of updates, e-mailed statuses, and answered questions...most of the time within minutes. Wintrust also has an online tracking system, so you can see exactly where your loan was at, in all stages of the process, and what date the item should be completed on. If you're as OCD as I am, you'll check it 1-2x a day for progress, and most of the time, it was dead on, and prevented a lot of e-mails and calls by me, asking what was going on. You get what you give in these situations, and there was definitely a lot of effort on my side, but it paid off.

Vince Kueffner and his team were extremely helpful from my first inquiry through closing. They explained the lending process/timeline clearly and thoroughly answered questions that came up along the way. All of us (my realtor and attorney included) had full faith that Wintrust would deliver as promised on the closing date, which they did. She got me a phenomenal lawyer for the closing. She researched the background information on the house. She gave me a heads up on what information to keep and she worked with me and was very patient. She got me a great rate and worked it out so that I didn't have to pay hardly any closing costs.
