DOC RICK'S INC

For years, we used Grandpa "Doc" Rick for appliance repairs. But recently, we needed a washing machine repaired and discovered Anthony took over the business. Anthony is not a businessman... He does not come prepared, no pen to write with, no response to MULTIPLE texts (nor voice mails) and no formal document control. Anthony is not a repairman... After two in-house visits, our washer never became repaired. And, he never reimbursed us for a part that he was unable to install.

I have used Doc Rick's Inc. services several times.   They are very responsive and very professional.  The workers are always honest and upfront.

He showed up right on time and got right to work. I like to hand out and watch when we have workmen and he was fine with that. He chatted with me as he worked and explained exactly what he was doing. Once he got the dryer working he vacuumed out the vents and the lint trap and made sure all was clear of obstruction. When he was finihsed he cleaned up any mess that he had made. It was a great experience and I would use Doc Ricks again in a flash.

My dryer stopped blowing heat, making it much more difficult to finish cleaning my piles and piles of laundry. Doc Rick's answered my call promptly and sent out a repairman on the same day. Repairman was punctual and polite. After checking out the dryer, he identified the burnt-out heating element and was able to replace using a new part he had on hand. Afterward, he checked the dryer to make sure everything worked normally, and cleaned out the exhaust duct. Would definitely use Doc Rick's again.

We called over Labor Day weekend and left a message to have someone call us back regarding our washer. Someone called us back on the following Tuesday. We told the scheduler we thought we needed a new timer and gave her the make and model of our washer. She said she would send someone out with a new timer on the truck. The repairman showed up on time, but didn't have the timer on his truck. So, we had to wait for about a week for him to get the part and to have it installed. It probably would have taken only a couple of days but we had trouble scheduling the appointment at a time convenient to us. The installation was quick. I thought the price was reasonable, though the timer isn't a very expensive part.  I  gave a "B" for responsiveness because of the difficulty scheduling the installation at a reasonable time. I gave a "B" for professionalism because the last time the company was at my house someone put "DOC RICK'S" stickers on both my washer and dryer and I can't get them off.

Good experience. Came out quickly, performed repair, had part with him. Fair price.

We've used him before and he's always on time, got the work done, and noticed that he cleaned up the rust from when the water sat and wouldn't drain. He found another problem with the washing machine and told us about it because he wasn't sure if we wanted to get a new washing machine, which is nice because he wasn't up selling us. He found out the part was available and gave us a quote if we decide to fix the other problem.
