Empire Today - Las Vegas

Found out late that most floors in my community were initially carpet installed. Contractors may be taking shortcuts in the smoothing and leveling of initial floors. Converting to wood may require additional cost of "floating" floors to insure proper leveling of floors for wood/laminate. This additional potential cost ($2100 in my case) comes as a shock to the senses and the bank account. Flooring representatives should consider mentioning this to customers.

Trouble getting them to finish the job.

We set an important specific date and time for the intall, Empire had to push back ten days, due to product availability. Which unfortunately set back my move-in date, and cost me $2000.00 more in fees for my apartment and moving company. I believed when I decided to purchase from Empire that I would be protected from project set-backs. I learned my lesson.

Overall, the installers did a great job installing the new flooring. However, the office coould of done a better job notifying me when there were issues withthe iheinstallation crews.

Several things told to us that Were not true.

Empire installed LVP throughout most of my home. Gustavo and one other man installed 1300 sq ft in just under 3 days. Removed tile and carpet. Gustavo was fantastic, quick and very hard working. He also recommended TLC Floor Boutique for the trim, much cheaper cost than Lowe's or Home Depot. As far as Empire Today, the salesman Greg doesn't really know what he is talking about. Sold us the a Laminate and LVP but didn't tell us there would have to be a transition between the two. Canceled order and had to bargain for them to install LVP throughout. Could not get an updated contract or change of order until after job was complete. I will use Gustavo again but Empire needs to work on their sales pitch and customer service. Received a call the morning of installation and was told it was going to take 4-5 days but when installers arrived they said 3 days. LVP is nice but it does scratch, still waiting on a call back to have them look at a scratch in the floor.

Install went well, lucky we speak Spanish as well. One installer broken English the other no English. Installers tried to hid hole he put in wall and they almost forgot to install some of the strips that divide the rooms. Had to remind them to move the furniture back.Which they moved half, got in their truck and left. But after working most of the day removing carpet on the stairs and replacing with wood. I guess they needed a break.

Omg, simply in love with my new tile floors! The workers were very punctual and did a wonderful job everyday of the project!

The entire process was easy. The salesman was good and had exactly the flooring I wanted. He estimated 3 days to get the over 1,000 sq ft of laminate installation and baseboard, but the installers got it finished beautifully in one 12 hr. day. The stairs, baseboard and flooring look amazing and we are beyond happy.

Terrible experience. Job was supposed to take one day but it took two. Installer could not speak a word of English and was not very good at his job. Messy, slow and the results were not acceptable. Had to call them back to correct some issues and they didn't come when they said they were going to come. I will never call them again and I don't recommend them to anyone.

The salesman said he could do it on my time table and within my budget . He brought the contract as the carpet and installers were on their way. They were a week late and the contract was $1,667.69 over budget. To me it was bait and switch.

They were fast and did a great job with installing carpet in all four bedrooms of my home. They also offer a great financing program, which made our move into our first home easier and stress free. The quality of carpet is absolutely wonderful and we would most definitely refer to our friends and family. Thank you Empire!!

Empire was awesome!!! Home advisors representative was horrible. I almost missed out on a wonderful company due to the lack of customer service the home advisor provided. Thank Goodness I called Empire directly to schedule my appointment.

I had the carpet removed from two large bedrooms, laminate installed and baseboards replaced. The whole project was finished in 3.5 hours. Super workmanship.

The job was done well except one area needs a little repair work to finish job that I did not catch while the installer was still here

very reasonable value. Very surprise how fast they did the work and customers services was outstanding. Glad I used HomeAdvisor. I recommended this to anyone that wants their home done. Second time I have used HomeAdvisor. I would use it again if I have any issue with my home. Thanks
