Did not complete job on the schedule they promised (3 days late). When they finished the laminate, they left the previous molding (which had been newly painted) a complete mess (paint chipped significantly) and when asked to come back to make it right, was told yes, but have been pushed out at least 3 times (and still no resolution, so I gave up). Hate to write a negative review of anyone, but it would be dishonest to let someone else use them without having all the information they need to make a good decision. Try Lowes or Home Depot, they do a good job of vetting out contractors and I've been happy with their other services.

The installer did an excellent job in a timely manner.

Kevin Behring, the Sales Rep, was outstanding to work with. Especially since I am located out of state 2000 miles away. He coordinated with me and worked with me via phone, text and email.

What we asked to have done was very difficult for the installer, but he did a terrific job and we are very happy with the results!

Empire Today hires sub contractors who in turn hire other subcontractors and the communication is terrible! The Empire salesman is not proficient in relaying dimensions and instructions to the sub contractors, who never communicate with myself, and subsequently short change the customer. NEVER AGAIN!

I would recommend you them to others

The workers were on time. they removed the old flooring and carpet. Started to install the the new laminate.Came back the next day and finished the job. They even helped move the furniture back into place. They cleaned up the interior and exterior of the house. Very professional and great installers.

terrible service. They disconnected my media room and did not put it back, now it is unuseable. I paid extra to have everything put back they way it was, but it did not happen.

I Waited 3 weeks for Empire to install my carpet, paid in advance. I waited all day for them to arrive. I had to call them at 7 PM to see what had happened. They tell me they were all booked up and an installer had to leave early. That's fine, but no phone call at all. Then they said they will take off $50.00 of my bill, lol and they can get me in next week...WORST COMPANY EVER!!!

There was a problem with their ordering department scheduling of wood floor materials and resulted in a one week delay. They did not call until the day work was to be done to advise us of the problem. However, once work started the following week, their on site workers did an excellent job getting the floor work completed.

The installer bent over backward to make us happy. Plus cleaned up after the job was completed. A rare occurrence in this industry .

Professional Clean Fast & Efficient

Received an installation quote only to have it rejected by the installers. Tried to get me to pay more for installation. When I said no, the installers left with the carpet. I called customer service and three days later new installers we're scheduled. Carpet was installed but several scrap pieces are under the carpet. Very unprofessional service.

Everything that was promised was done with speed and excellence.

If I could leave zero stars I would. First we wanted a free estimate, which was great but couldn't give us a quote without a deposit. Then when we called to modify our order they became very pushy and wouldn't take no for an answer. When the day came to install the carpet the contractor couldn't find the original order so he had to measure everything again. Then he disappeared. When I called they said they had no idea who the contractor they sent was. When I asked for a local number they hung up on me. When I called back they placed me on hold for thirty minutes then hung up on me. They won't return my deposit or even answer my phone calls now. Don't use them. You're better off hiring someone under a bridge. It's just as safe as anyone they would send.

The sales guy was great and not pushy but when I scheduled my appointment they called the day before to reschedule for the next day because they overbooked. The rescheduled time was for noon. No one showed up until right before 6p!! Absolutely horrible trying to get ahold of the installer and supervisors. It was a disaster. Luckily the installer who showed up was pleasant and got the job done in an hour but none of that should’ve happened and I wouldn’t recommend this company just for the scheduling reason

The installers seemed to more concerned with setting a speed record than treatment of customer property and proper installation of carpet .They tried to leave with 1/4" gaps in seems. DO NOT get value carpet and pad. Worst ever , Feels better walking on through rugs than this carpet in socking feet. Drag marks left on vinyl where furniture was pulled instead of lifted. Corner of arm rest was mashed and scuffed on leather sofa. When customer service called to check on satisfaction I relayed my issues. The rep graciously offered to sell me a higher priced product with installation at full price for both. On the plus side they were on time.

Great company to work with, floors came out awesome.

I called in and they sent a sales rep here by the name of Dan showed product cost i paid was 1,800 . No one showed up on there exact schedule date and time and had to remove everything out and had to live like that through the entire weekend with everything out of cabinets for my install. They took pictures once then came 4 times to take more pictures and pictures was taken of the fish tank back again took more pictures and then i got rescheduled for tuesday, i was told they can work around the fish tank, then they stated they cannot work around the fish tank. After me telling them numerous times they could work around the fish tank. The fish tank is to heavy for me to move the fish tank.After me waiting for them to come back no one ever showed up I had to speak with a supervisor and supervisor told me that he could not work around the fish tank. Had to put a stop payment on the 1,800 check. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use them. Every time i called they will never return my call & when they said they will call back or they were with a customer and never called me back, had to call them back to get some answers.

It was so nice to have the salesman come to our home with samples of the carpet we were interested in, rather than shopping in stores looking through hundreds of samples - so frustrating! Empire made it effortless - we just had to choose the color!
