Dreadful experience. Saleswoman played the used car salesman deal of giving a high price and having to call manager to get a better deal. I eventually agreed to a price for removal of old floor and installation of new, paid 10 % deposit and set a date for instal. A single installer came ( no crew) and told me he couldn't do job for agreed price, got a manager to tell me I had to pay over 600 dollars more...... No way. Cancelled install, got runaround from customer service who tried to sell me higher quality ( price) flooring instead. I am disgusted with this company

I am totally please with my new floor. I have gotten compliments from everyone who dropped by. The workmanship was excellent and the workers very nice. The representative was so personable and I really enjoyed talking with him as I decided on what I wanted for my floor. He even stopped by after the work was done just to check to make sure I was satisfied. Wonderful results!

love my new floor but experience with the crew of installers was not stellar. They detached my washer and dryer and fail to reattach the gas line on my dryer, leading to serious of service calls until someone discovered the problem. Shame on them!

UPDATED REVIEW: Am updating this review as I was finally reached by the right person at EMPIRE who took care of this problem. THIS IS A COMPANY that cares about it's customers! I'm very pleased with the resolution to my issues, which was above and beyond my expectations and am adjusting my review accordingly! _____ Terrible experience! Salesman lies about quality of carpet (sample book says it's a Shaw carpet 20yr wear/10yr on stain & soil warranty). Salesman claims it's 20yr wear/lifetime on stain &soil and even writes it on receipt! After install, find out it's worse than that from manufacturer, Shaw!! It's really only a polyester carpet w/10 yr wear/stain/soil - the lowest quality they make! Called customer service multiple times. Got nowhere... DON'T USE.

This was a great experience from the salesman to completion of installation. I was thankful for having samples brought into my home, rather than shopping in a big store. The colors looked very different when I could match them with lighting and wall colors in my home. Very happy with finished result.

That when they come to your home at 8 in the morning be prepared for them not to leave until 1 or 2 in the morning the next day. Thought that was very unprefessional. Also never heard from sales rep. after the job was completed.

I thought the salesperson could have been a little more knowledgeable. He told me I could not have hardwood installed on stairs. The installers said they do it all the time. I am going to stain the stairs a color that is close but, I would have preferred the hardwood.
