Description of Work: We purchased hardwood floors from Great Western Flooring, and they did a phenomenal job! From the selection through the installation, we had a wonderful experience. The installers were top-notch: very professional and exceptionally clean.

Description of Work: Installed carpeting. Went fine. Used them twice. Disappointed in the quality of the carpet, but the manufacturer is to blame for that.

Description of Work: Refinished hardwood floors Color matched missing flooring which was missing once room divider was removed. Stained and applied satin finish. Very pleased with work done. Small hole in wall had to be patched due to their equipment use which they said released them from responsibility in contract. Other than that, the floors were beautiful.

Description of Work: They replace our entire shower that had a built in seat. They were able to save enough of old tile to make a border which matched the tile in other parts of the bathroom. They did very, very good work.

Description of Work: I purchased backsplash tile for our remodeled kitchen. Great Western was also contracted to install the purchased tile. When tile arrived for installation the color was not what I ordered and looked nothing like the sample tile in the showroom. They insisted I pay for the tile because I signed a contract regardless of the fact that the color was incorrect. They took me to court to force me to pay for the tile (no installation ever took place) and the judge ruled in my favor- end result was I did not have to pay for the incorrect tile.

Description of Work: I had bamboo floor installed in family room, which was previously carpeted. Carpet was replaced in hallway and basement stairs. About a year earlier I had basement floor re-carpeted after a flood. Both times the work was on time, professionally done and clean-up was excellent. I found both store employee and installers easy to talk to and knowledgeable. There was a delay in getting bamboo from manufacturer but since that comes by boat, not much could be done about it. Great Western kept me informed of the expected arrival date.

Description of Work: The under measured room size, therefore not enough material. Did not check the floorboard size when quoting, therefore floor levels did not match. They didn't care and glued down tile. Sloppy work. Grout lines did not match. | |I would never use them again, and I would strong recommend against anyone using them again. I have pictures of the horrible job.

Description of Work: Did a very good job of installing the carpet. Didn't mark the baseboard.

Description of Work: Workers were rude. They did slip shot work, necessitating several repairs, and workers did not show up. Managers and owner were condescending, and uncooperative. The whole affair was a nightmare to the point I refused to let them back into the house. Not only, they sold me a pre-finished floor, promising me this pre-finished hardwood floor would be able to handle scratching from a big dog. Later, even the tech rep from the wood supplier told us that there is no way this particular floor would be able to stand up to a dog. In that case it is better to buy a unfinished floor which can be sanded to take away scratches. Great Western in my mind is a bunch of crooks.
