Technician came out and performed service well. Communication was very good and provided tips on maximizing the life of our furnace along with setting us up with a sales appt to evaluate the cost of getting our furnace replaced. Very up front about our situation(we have an old furnace that functions but should be replaced soon) and gave us feedback on the proper type of filter to use - apparently sometimes using the more expensive Filtrete which we were using were actually making our furnace work harder and less efficient. Received a writeup of what was done - very satisfied with the service.

I bought a big deal for this service. They did a fine job and there was no problem. I was not home when they did the service but my husband seemed pleased with them. It went well; they came in and did the job.

The service was unremarkable in that they came, they looked at it, they did some cleaning, and that was that. The service was okay, but it was not an exceptional service.

Everything went smoothly, the technician was here the day after Christmas exaclty 5 minutes early. Whole thing took about 30 minutes to look over the furnace, ensure it was working properly and keep my warranty on the right side of the law. I have only good things to say about the professional, skilled union service technicians at Air-Rite. If you want good service and believe in the power of unions to strengthen the middle class, go with these guys. I will be calling again next fall for the same service.

Went very well. Young guy seemed to know what he was doing. Upon leaving, he gave me a report of all the tests that were done; everything checked out.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and they were alright. I was busy when they came out, so I let them do whatever they were supposed to do. There were no additional charges. They did say that there was a part that was old, and they needed to replace it at an additional charge.

Inspected the problem, ordered the needed part, arrived three days later and installed the new motor.

Have to say that despite the hit to the wallet, I enjoy working with these guys. From the office to the tech, pleasant and willing to work around my schedule. I have used Air Rite for the past few years for maintenance and they do a good job. Aaron told me that the replacements did not have to be done immediately, but he could not state for sure how long they would last. Decided to just get it done because with my luck the furnace would go on the coldest weekend of the year. I like that Aaron does not use scare tactics

The estimate was provided promptly and clearly. The work was done extremely well with attention to detail, and the workers were knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. We highly recommend them!

They were excellent. They did a very nice job. The workers were very very professional and knowledgeable. They cleaned up very well after themselves. Everything they took out they hauled away. They scheduled a time in advanced and they were here when they said they would be there.

They came out fairly quickly after purchasing the deal. It was okay. They did what they said they would do. I felt the pricing was little on the high end though for what they did.

The service went fine. Two technicians came out and completed the job in about an hour. They were punctual and did a fine job. I also had them repair a part for an additional fee. I had no problem scheduling the deal and I was satisfied with the work.

Good. They did what was expected. They actually had installed the furnace, so we've been using them for maintenance.

Our Carrier 58STA furnace started making a loud noise. I pretty quickly traced it to the inducer motor. It was 12 years old and so I called Air-Rite to replace it for me. I have used them a number of times in the past. They arrived on time, the day after calling. I've always had them come out quickly like that -- very responsive and punctual. The technician agreed immediately that the inducer motor assembly should be replaced. The replacement motor (326628-763) ranges from $320 - $370. However, Air Rite offered to install it for $773. Given the swapout is literally a 15 minute job, that's quite a premium. It's certainly fair that their price is higher than just the part -- but after paying $98 to have a tech show up, I think $400 over the cost of the part is a bit steep. Therefore, I give them a "C" on price. I will say that I have used Air-Rite in the past ... and will again because they are so responsive -- and most importantly HONEST about what should be done. While they will push their annual service plans, it's not a bad deal if you need work done or if you haven't maintained your furnace (cleaning). They are very thorough, knowledgeable and offer sound advice on what to do. They do not try to sell you parts you don't need. So, I give them an "A" for quality and professionalism. I most value their responsiveness and honesty in my decision to continue to use Air-Rite. While their price is high...I feel confident that they are advising me based on what is best for me.

The service is great with this company. They have provided services to us before and they do a great job.

I got on their maintenance plan, and the technician was very nice and knowledgeable. He cleaned my furnace, replaced some parts, replaced filter, cleaned humidifier and replaced filter. Told me about some easy ways to save myself some money and order certain parts online that are easy to do by myself, which was very helpful (in this case it is a holder for the humidifer filter that I use which was falling apart).

The only issue was that service technician actually arrived earlier than scheduled and we had to scramble to accommodate him. I guess that is a good problem.

They initially quoted $225, then revised it up to $425. They wanted to charge me $190 for cleaning 1 furnace. Three furnaces for $425. Nearly double the quotes I received from other vendors. I also felt the person on the phone was not directing me to the best/right service for my situation.

I love the technicians! They know the house by now because we've been using them for 13 years. We’ve never had to call them back for anything and they show up when they are supposed to.
