The service call did not well. I called to have a certified Goodman furnace technician set up options on a 3 yr old furnace that was installed in a home that I bought 3 month ago. Somehow Air-Rite decided this was a "no heat" call and sent a very junior service tech out within 2 days. I was appreciative of the response time. When the service man got here I explained what I needed done and he looked puzzled. I asked him if he was the right man to do this and if he was familiar with Goodman furnaces. He responded that he could "do it all". I explained the need to set options on the furnace that allowed the burners to operate in two stages and to option the fan for a low and high speed. All of these options were explained & available using the users manual that came with the furnace which I had. He didn't refer to any of the documentation. Once again I asked him if he was the right person to perform the optioning of the furnace. He said he was. Not referring to any of the documentation, he went to the furnace and began taking current and voltage readings. He tried to show me that the furnace fan was operation at the proper speeds. I responded that he could be measuring anything and that I wouldn't know that difference. He had no response. There was no change in the furnace speeds. After a while, he told me that he has spent more thine with me than he was allotted and that the cost wold be more than originally estimated. With that I said OK and asked him to leave. It was obvious by this time that the technician did not know what he was doing. He gave me a bill for $174 which i paid. Two days later, another furnace installation company came out, optioned the furnace as I had asked and charged me $89. I WOULD NEVER USE AIR-RITE AGAIN. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND A RIP-OFF. I don't know how as many people on Angie's list can rate then as well as they have.

It was fine and great. He gave us tips on the filter to use. He replaced the filter with a different type that he said would make it work better.

The furnace was making a noise. I called and Mike was who was assigned to me, and we had lots of missed calls and appointments. He would call and he would never show up. An older man came out and fixed it, but shortly after it started acting up again. They sent out their top guy, he was apologetic and went over the furnace and how it worked. He marked the unit so I could work with it easier. He also helped me put up a lamp in my kitchen.

I high recommend this company for any and all service work. In particular I would ask for Mr. Lorenzo Sparacino for puctuality and thoroughness of his work.

I was happy with the services, but it took them a while to come out.

It went well. They said the humidifier tuneup is not part of the coupon which I bought. It's good. For price, I think they should have included the humidifier also.

Purchased a furnace cleaning/inspection. Called to schedule the appt. and they have no appts. available for weeks. They should really remove the sale if they can't accommodate customers.

It turned out very well. They did a very good job. Our daughter had very positive things to say. She said they cleaned up very well. The furnace works beautifully. She appreciated the suggestions that they gave her as far as which unit to buy. She felt like this was a very reputable company, that she could work with them for service down the road. She is very pleased. I thought the pricing was fair.

This was the most thorough furnace clean and check I ever had. Checked carbon dioxide, checked the drain, and even asked if I had checked the thermostat batteries and replaced them for me.

Did a great job, very professional and thorough. Cleaned the whole furnace including flame sensor, and made sure everything was working properly.

Well, Mike P. was the contact person, getting in touch with him was not easy because I was the person calling him all the time. He was very nice, but not prompt. I finally made my mind up, because I kept on changing. I wanted a new Carrier single stage furnance and 2.5 ton ac unit installed. The installers were nice and professional. I'm waiting for my warranty booklet from Carrier for the air unit and furnance, as well as my rebate. I didn't recieve booklets telling me about my new investment. I only recieved booklets about the intallation process. So what's up with that. I suppose I'll have to call Mike. The system appears to be working o.k., I'm trying to get accustomed to the new thermostat. I feel warm air flowing, but no hot air yet. Hopefully everything will be fine. I have used Air-Rite before, too soon to know if I'll use them in the future.

Leo arrived as scheduled. He was both meticulous and thorough in his work. Answered all questions in readily understandable terms. Very neat. Best service that I have ever had for this type of work.

I purchased the Angie's list coupon for cleaning and inspection, $69.00. Good Value! I received a call back and scheduled an appointment within 24 hours of my initial inquiry. The service tech, Phil was courteous, informative and gave me advise but didn't push a sale. Based upon his advise, in addition to the cleaning I decided to replace the coupler, $50.00 My furnace and air conditioning unit will need to be replaced in the near future. When that time comes, I will definitely shop Air-Rite for a quote. Thank you Phil. Your customer service is impeccable!

We did not have the service done due to limited hours.

Mike came out and did the service and immediately began work. and used a vacuum to remove all the lint He arrived toward the end of the time range when he was scheduled to arrive. I asked a few questions about replacing the furnace in our other place and was able to answer the questions with expert knowledge. The only thing I did not like was that he used an old dirty rag to clean the inside of the panel as an addition to the vacuum. It looked like he had used it at another job. Overall, he performed the service well.

The technician arrived and I asked him how much it was going to cost to have the work done. I have used this company before and they were always reasonably priced. He told me it would cost $129.00 to have a cleaning... I just saw there was a coupon for $69.00 on Angie's list, too. I said, okay as I wanted thtem to clean and check it to see if it just needed a cleaning. After being there for about 1/2 hour, he presented me with a bill of $219.00.... I told them up front, okay...I'm in it for $129.00 today if it requires parts or repair, let me know before you proceed. He didn't. He didn't replace any parts, either. I got ripped off big time and will never call them again. Must be a new owner or something because I never had issues with them and why I made a repeat call to them. Never again...

Everything went good. Technician called 15m before coming which gave me time to come from my office. He was knowledgeable and did everything that was included in the package. I will reuse their services.

Never got any contact but unsure of reason why

Prior to appointment, I requested a certain technician come whom I had worked with in the past. They said they would not send him, because he did not have possession of a special piece of equipment needed, and instead I would get somebody else. The technician arrived on-time however was toting a very large air compressor into my home on a dolly cart. He cleaned the equipment and performed maintenance to what appeared to be a satisfactory level. The air compressor used was extremely loud. When I asked about this, he said that they used to use nitrogen however they kept running out so now use compressed air. Why couldn't they just plan for and bring the appropriate materials rather than cart in a large piece of equipment? A response on this was never provided to me. There was no clean-up done and dust and dirt was everywhere inside and out after the technician left. When I asked about changing the battery in the thermostat, he said he didn't have any. The technician provided from prior years always changed the battery as part of my service agreement package. When he left, I noticed an enormous scratch on my hardwood floor right where he had left the dolly. No drop cloth was used and no care or protection was taken in my home. I immediately contacted Air-rite and spoke with the Customer Service Manager. He indicated to take a picture and they would pay for the repair. I sourced somebody else to fix the floor. Unfortunately, a deep, severe scratch on an Oak hardwood floor that crosses several boards is 'unrepairable'. The most they can do is buff it down and apply clear coat to minimize the appearance. A week or two later I noticed another deep scratch where the technician was working. I called the service manager and told him that the guy who attempted to repair my floor did not charge me. He asked if I could take a picture and for the name of the floor repairer, so that he could 'send them something'. I indicated that my floor had been damaged and nothing could ever fully fix it. No offer was made of remuneration for the damage and inconvenience done. I was shocked that no serious apology was made and no discount on service was offered or remuneration for the extreme inconvenience and permanent damage done due to their worker's negligence. I called the Service Manager back to attempt to make it right, left voicemail, and he chose to never return my call. I would not recommend using this provider.

I purchased this, called the sp, described what we had and I really needed a boiler inspection instead of a furnace.

The salesman was quick to get back with me on a model and pricing. The installer came out at the time I was given. He worked quickly and had it done in about 4 hours. I would probably use them again however I see that an earlier reviewer got the exact same size AC and their cost was $600 less than what I paid so make sure to ask if they can do any better on the price.

Not happy that there was a no show for a quote of a new furnace. Talked to Mike a day later and come to find out that he did not show up because he could not get confirmation that I would be home. He could not contact me because he was calling my work number instead of my home number. Not sure whether it was a company policy or his decision to not show up but I did not appreciate it. I told him it is probably not a good business practice to not show up for an appointment. Instead of apologizing about the miscommunication, he starts to argue with me about it. It was not worth my time to continue the discussion and I basically ended the conversion with him. It is safe to say that I would not be giving my business to Air-Rite anytime soon. I definitely would not go with a company that does not honor their commitments.

It went very smooth. The technician was friendly and knowledgable and answered any questions we had.
