Everything went well. They were friendly and professional, and they did a good job with the installation.

Fair. Ad said up to 1 lb. of refrigerant free. However the ad did not state that there was a 2 lb. minimum refill. My unit needed about than 1 lb. of refrigerant to top it off, but to get 1 lb. I would have had to purcharce 2 lbs, I was a little annoyed that this was not explained in the ad. So I ended up not getting the promised 1 lb.

Easily scheduled appointment, called before arriving on time. Did the work as expected. Of course, tried to sell us a new unit.

I purchased an A/C tune-up package from A Professional Heating & Cooling Inc. The service was very nice. The gentleman was on time, very knowledgeable. He explained some things about the air conditioning unit that I didn't know. I didn't know how old it was. He explained that. He helped me understand different things I needed to do as far as cleaning the humidifier for the air. He was very helpful. He's a nice guy. I did not pay more than the big deal purchase. I find them to be very honest and open with that I needed to do and what shouldn't be doing. They were great.

To be honest, the date of service and the amount up there were made up. I don't remember, because I was so unhappy with my only big deal that I've never tried another up to this date. The company was to come out and clean and check my furnace. I have two, so I bought two big deals. The house was new to me, I was new in the area and didn't know my neighbors yet, so I figured Angie's List was the way to go. The guy who came out, spent a lot of time telling me that all sorts of disasters were just waiting to happen He spent a bunch of time scaring me about my new house and new (to me) furnace system and then sold me a maintenance contract. He made a point of explaining that his company would call me up and schedule the appointments and that I didn't have to call them unless there was a problem. For a full year, I never heard another word from them. It wasn't until I got an email from Angies List asking me to rate them that I even knew the name of who I had out originally. (Remember, I had just moved in and didn't yet have any kind of paper filing system up and running.) In the last year, I've had a company out that was recommended by my neighbors instead. This company did a great job and also told me that the guy who told me all the scary stuff was pretty much lying to me. Retroactively, I'm very very not impressed with the service I received, although the guy did clean the furnace so at least that part was performed correctly.

1) Technician arrived, and without inspecting, checking or doing any test, immediately said we needed a new unit; this was done less than 1 minute upon arriving and prior to any review of the unit. He then began testing the unit to see if it was sending cool air; it was and then he washed the inside of the unit; I never saw him do any of the listed inspection items. 2) Turned the unit on a couple of days later and it began to make a loud screeching high pitch sound, so I turned it off and scheduled a $96.00 service call which was done on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 by the same technician; again a sales pitch was made to purchase a new a/c unit at the price of $2700. The office told me he would call before coming to the house and the appointment was for between 9 am and 11 am: no call was made, he just showed up at 11 am. He wasn't able to resolve my noise factor but he was prepared to sale me a unit.

It turned out okay. I had a little issue but the guy rectified it. It cost me no extra money, just a little cleaning that needed to be done. It was a pleasant surprise. I was pleased with his service. This was the first time using them. I believe I would recommend them. The guy was very knowledgeable.

They were great. They were down to earth. They were intensive. They knew beyond the cope of their work.

The technician was supposed to arrive between 9 and 11 AM. I called at 9:15 to find out when to expect him. They said he'd be there at 10 but he showed up about 20 minutes earlier than that. He explained everything as he worked and despite talking almost the whole time did a fairly thorough job. He was very knowledgable and informative and unlike previous service providers I've had did not rush through the job.

Inspected the (15-year old) furnace and showed my husband a crack in the motor cowling that looked more like it was made by abuse than by normal wear. Because of the age of the furnace, the serviceman recommended getting a new motor. He originally quoted that at about $800 and then after consulting his boss said no, it was only $500. We went ahead with the repair, but wished we had asked to keep the replaced parts. My husband had an uneasy feeling about the repairman, but wasn't sure if he was merely not as competent as he could have been or was possibly a scammer.

They showed up on time and did everything they said they would do. They were very professional and gave recommendations on maintenance on the unit and provided contact information if we needed anything in the future.

Here is what happened you decide. I bought a Big Deal for this company to come inspect, clean and add up to 1lb of refrigerant if needed. I emailed them and never got a response to my email to set up an appointment. I then called the number and spoke to a woman named Kelly. She was very nice and set-up an appointment within a couple days. On the day of the appointment, that morning Kelly called and left a message that she had to cancel the appointment due to some other emergency that had come up for them. We reschedule for a few days later. The morning of my new appointment Kelly called and asked if the tech could come by at 9 instead of the 10-12 window. That worked great for me and I said yes. The tech arrived around 9am. He asked to come inside and look at the furnace I showed it to him, he then went outside and looked at the A/C. When he turned on the A/C at the thermostat he said nothing happened outside. I was not have any issues with my A/C up until this point. He then said he would have to charge my another $99 because "this company was expensive" he seemed confused so I asked him to call Kelly. Before he did he went back into the house and which point he went to the bathroom and came out later and asked me where the furnace was. I was thinking the same place it was when you saw it 10 minutes ago. He went downstairs and came back up and said let's call Kelly. We called Kelly and she said explained that it would be another $99 for the service fee to figure out what was wrong with my A/C unit. Now prior to this visit there was nothing wrong. The tech was pacing and acting odd and I relayed that to Kelly. She said I can send out a different tech if I would like that. I said yes, please do. That was very nice of her and that tech left without saying a word and a hour later Dennis arrived. Dennis proceed straight to the unit and opened it up and test the voltage coming into it. It read 24 which was what he told me we needed. He then tested the connector and said he was losing voltage to it and it would need replaced. He didn't have the part he would have to go to Grainger to get it. He called Kelly and he was on his way. The part cost less than $30 but I was charged $250 for it. Once he got back with the part it took him 5 minutes to put it on. Once he put it on the A/C unit didn't work. we went inside he looked at the furnace/AC in the basement and found a disconnected wire. He reconnected the wire and the unit worked. I asked if the whole time the issue was the wire he said maybe but the connector did need replacing. I guess I will never know. In the end it cost me $310 for a

From my first phone call to the completion of the job they were excellent. They came to inspect the unit but it died while they were here. They secured financing for a new unit and had it installed the same day. I asked that they call when they were on their way as I live alone and don't answer the door unless I am expecting someone right then. Each person called when 5 mins away. Everyone, a total of 6 people I dealt with from the first phone call to the completion, was professional, polite and knowledgable. I will be using them for all my heating and ac needs in the future.
