The floors look great. Danny took time to explain everything that was being done. We were on a tight time frame and he was able to fit us in. Great work all around.

Danny and his crew did a great job sanding and re-finishing our floors. Danny answered all questions and was detail oriented and professional. He pointed out trouble spots in the older parquet floor we have and was able to complete the work ahead of schedule.

Both times the service, response, and timeliness were excellent. His quotes were competitive with 3 other bids. I highly recommend their work.

We called Danny and his crew on Monday. He came to see the job site and give us an estimate on Tuesday. By Tuesday night, we were scheduled to start Friday. I met the crew on Friday to go over the details. Danny let me know exactly what to expect and even sanded a few spots in front of me so I saw what it would look like. After sanding, he contacted us to get approval of a small patch of applied finish before he proceeded with the rest of the job. The end of the first night, they had finished sanding and applied 2 of the 3 coats of finish. They arrived at 9am Saturday morning to apply the 3rd coat and were finished by 10:15. The floors look great. They even removed the quarter round to make sure it’ll look okay if we change the base molding.

Danny was great to work with, fast, responsive, fairly priced and great quality work! We called him on a Wednesday, had a quote on Thursday, and the following Monday he got started and was done by Wednesday. After photos below.

Danny is everything you would expect after reading his amazing reviews. I reached out to him due to what I read about him and he exceeded my expectations. My wife and I needed our floors stained for our new construction condo. Danny came to my home, did a walk through and 2 days later sent us a detailed proposal. The fees seemed reasonable and were slightly higher than the other quote we received from another vendor. I could tell Danny was more professional and overall seemed more reliable than this other vendor so my wife and I decided to work with Danny. On day 1 Danny sanded our floors and then showed us 5 different stains which was extremely helpful because my wife and I were very unsure of what we wanted. We chose the ebony color and 4 days later the job was completed and came out fantastic. My wife and I are extremely happy and would recommend Danny to anyone we know who needs floor work done in their home

Job was very well done. Stained portion of the hardwoods was removed. New floor boards were feathered into existing hardwoods. Entire floor surface was then sanded and stained. Looks beautiful and seamless.

Went great. We moved our tenants out for a week and were concerned that the flooring project get completed without any delays. Danny was responsive prompt and timely and answered all my questions about how to schedule the work. The work was beautifully done; I was concerned about the texture of one section and Danny returned with his workmen and refinished that section. They left the condo cleaner they found it! Would hire again and recommend.

Danny and his team were super professional. Everything went smoothly from getting an estimate to finishing the job. Danny was very responsive upon initial inquiry and gave a very fair price. He and his team completed all the work within 3 days to my complete satisfaction. They even went above and beyond to replace cove bases and shoe bases (some of those were too high due to previous carpeting on the original hardwood floor) free of charge. Danny also provided a lot of useful advices on hardwood floor care. I would definitely hire them again if I need future flooring work.

Danny and his team did an excellent job screening and polishing our hardwoods that were dull and minorly scratched. They even hand sanded the thresholds to look like new. He explained the process thoroughly, including the different levels of service, the expected color of the wood, the different finishes, and he even pointed out a few deep scratches they would not be able to fix. Coming back after the polish cured for two days, the floors looked beautiful. They were a little bit dusty but I was pleased to note there not any dings in the baseboards, so the crew must have been careful. The only downside is the smell. Danny said the odor (like fresh paint) would dissipate after leaving the windows open for half an hour. Days later, the smell is still there, even after leaving the windows open for a few hours (despite freezing temperatures).

We set a date/time for him to come quote the job, and he was there exactly when he said he would be. The quote was very reasonable, and he was able to schedule me the same week. The crew showed up promptly, completed the job in a single day, and cleaned up EVERYTHING. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again. Thanks much!

Danny and his team did a fantastic job and my floors turned out beautifully!! He knew exactly the right stains to mix to achieve the gray wash look I was looking for (as opposed to just offering a gray stain color). Danny was in close contact throughout the project and was able to start the floors just a couple days after giving me a quote. Though his quote was the same as the others I received from different companies I'd found through Angie's List, I went with Modern Quality Flooring because they used better quality equipment and products (the other two companies told me they might stain the wall trim and weren't going to refinish the floors under my appliances). I highly recommend this company!

Danny was great. He was able to start quickly, walked me through the process and gave me a great price compared with the other two quotes we got. The floors look great, and when different workers put a little dent in the new wood, he offered to come out the next day to assess the situation and make a small repair for free. He is honest, fast, did a good job, and gave me a great price. The old saying is fast, good, cheap - pick two. In this case you get all three! If I had to find a fault, he was 1 minute late - literally that is the only bad thing I could say. If you need your floors done, definitely go with Danny, you'll be very happy.

I felt comfortable with Danny from the first visit for the quote. He is an honest, high integrity guy. When we contacted him to schedule, he agreed to finish the job on pretty short notice and condensed the schedule to accomodate our routine. Danny and his team did a great job. They adjusted the job to prevent/minimize scratches from our golden retriever dog. High quality job, no compliants at all. Great communication and reliability. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.
