Danny and his crew did a great job. They gave us plenty of options and flexibility with the schedule and came in and did the work with no issues. There were a couple of add on items that Danny was willing to negotiate on an give us the best possible product. Overall, we were thrilled with the color and the finish. Furthermore, there were several gouges and sander marks from the LAST people who refinished our floors. Danny and crew were able to put filler and blend those marks in perfectly. Danny and his team proved once again why they are the only company that we will hire and recommend for wood floor refinishing in the Chicago area. They were hired to install a wood floor in our kitchen and attempt to match the 100 year old wood floor in the rest of our home. The first attempt fell short of our expectations but Danny assured us it would be made right with a second coat of stain. We ended up spending more than we hoped but the end result was worth it and a quality job was provided with nearly a perfect match.

Danny and his team did a great job! On time, efficient, and professional. The repair work was excellent; we moved around several walls, so he had lots of spots to repair. Afterwards, I cannot tell at all where the old walls were. Danny also does an excellent job of explaining exactly what his team is going to do, when we can begin using the floors, how to care for them, etc.

Amazingly quick turnaround and quality work! Danny answered every question and went above and beyond with the work.

Phenomenal. 1.) Dan was able to come out and check out the job within a day of calling him. 2.) An estimate was sent back to me within a day of coming to see what needed to be done. 3.) The work was completed even earlier than the timeframe specified. Great the floors turned out perfect

I initially spoke with Danny when looking to get an estimate. He showed up on time and was able to give a professional estimate via email a couple days later. He was very straightforward with me and I never felt like he was trying to take advantage of me. He provided good suggestions and even worked with me when i had to reschedule the work from the initially planned week. The work was A+. He set the accurate expectations around time and when we came back to the house everything was cleaned up and good to go. Highly recommend Danny and MQF.

Fantastic job. Team finished well ahead of schedule, all the work was done immaculately. Couldn't have possibly asked for a better experience. Cost wasn't quite the cheapest, but Danny won't come back with little add-ons, he just handles small repairs as he goes and includes it in the estimate.

Our house looks like a completely new house with the work from Modern Quality. Without a doubt I would hire them again!

The guys at Modern Quality Flooring did an outstanding job! The floors came out great and Danny kept me informed on everything that would be done. They even installed the nose on my step to a lower room and the one on the top of my basement stairs at no additional cost. They went above and beyond and can't wait to see how the rest of the work will look upstairs. Do not hesitate to hire these guys, great work at a fair price.

Danny and his crew were terrific! Our floors are like new and I can't say enough good things about the entire job, from the estimate until the project was completed. Everything was on time with no surprise costs. In addition to refinishing and staining, we had a few areas that needed repair and they turned out great! The crew was professional and very respectful of the property. Communication was beyond excellent!!! I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Danny was timely with providing an estimate and his price was very close to another estimate I recieved. He was able to start the job on fairly short notice once we decided to move forward. His crew was friendly and got to work quickly and stayed late the first night in order to allow us to have our designer review the color samples prior to them leaving for the day. There were some repairs needed (extra cost) once the carpeting was removed, but nothing that wasn't obviously needed.

Danny and Modern Quality Flooring were all the good things you have read in his many other "A" reviews and more. He listens well to his customer's needs, suggests revisions in advance if necessary for good practical reasons, arrives to estimates and scheduled job on time, does beautiful work.

Danny and his team were fantastic. They quoted us a price and stuck to it, even when the job required slightly more labor than they expected to remove some tile under the old carpet. They completed the job in little more than a day, and communicated throughout the process. I would absolutely work with them again and recommend them to family and friends.

I am a very fussy person and notice the smallest of details. Just like before with the hardwood floors, I couldn't have been more pleased with the work they did. They asked questions at the beginning of the job about how I wanted the tile to look (things I hadn't considered before) accounted for the lack of 'squareness' in the walls, and were true professionals. The best quality of work, great crew, on time and for a great price. I will continue to call them for all of my flooring needs hardwood, tile or otherwise!

Want to thank Danny from Modern Flooring, him and his crew did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them. Great price and quick turn around! We had the entire first floor down and we couldn't be happier with the quality of work. These floors are 100 years old and had only been refinished 2 times before, last time being 29 years ago. They took great care in making sure they looked like they did they day they were put in.
