The work men arrived on time and completed the work by mid afternoon. There was a problem with the glue for the baseboard but their manager arrived with a different glue and solved the problem. The basement looks as good as new.

The floor turned out very nice. We did a living/dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, three closets and treads and landing for 1.5 staircase. Started on a Monday and finished on Thursday doing final walk through on Friday. The job was done efficiently and the floors look excellent. Danny put down six stain samples after sanding (including a mix of two stains we wanted to see) and also did additional samples on a bottom stair after we narrowed it down so we could compare to the floor in the basement/garden. After we chose the stain we were not interrupted at all (although Danny did make sure to explain things when needed - fox example when the refrigerator could not be entirely pulled out which impacted the finishing). Danny also explained how to care for the floors and made suggestions on some of related items like handrails we are painting. My only complaint was they did not specify what time they were arriving the first day and the time that the stain samples would be ready to view was a bit unclear.

It was great. The floors look spectacular and it was so easy to work with Danny and crew.

I hired Modern Quality to install and refinish the hardwood in my primary home and the job went so well that I hired them again a couple months later to replace the floors in a condo that I rent after some minor flooding. Both times the experience was great. Danny takes the time to talk with you about what you want to accomplish and provides options at different price points. I never got the sense he was trying to up-sell me or maximize his own profits - the focus was always on what we wanted. Estimates were detailed and listed each cost element separately so I knew what I was paying for. Once the jobs started, Danny and his team worked quickly and kept me updated on their progress until the projects were over. The floors ended up looking great in both cases, and I have no complaints or regrets about using Modern Quality. They will be my go-to for any future flooring projects.

It was great. Danny explained exactly what he would be doing beforehand and the work was accomplished in just two days. The crew arrived when they said they would. They had to move a very heavy upright piano along with a sofa and a dish cabinet and move them back afterwards. The floors look really nice and we are very pleased. I would recommend Modern Quality Flooring to anyone who needs this kind of work.

Danny and his team did a great job on our floors. He helped us pick the right finish and he and his team showed up on time and finished right on schedule. He even went above and beyond helping us to move some furniture. Its great to have the owner of the business oversee the work to make sure it gets done right. Would highly recommend.

Extremely well - we are very happy with the results and Modern Quality Flooring was such a great company to work with!

This is our 2nd family experience with MQF and as originally recommended years ago then again most recently by friends, the workmanship was superior. All edges were lightly sanded by hand. The dust was quite minimal. All surfaces were wiped down with tack cloth. The entire experience was most profession from the bid process through 100% cleanup. The floor with satin finish now appears updated from former semi-gloss. We could have taken an 8% less bid. The difference was well worth it. We are most pleased including the extras of filling cracks near back door entryway, tediously sanding down darkened areas on both floor and steps. We could not be more pleased.

Called Danny Tuesday afternoon. He took my information and said somebody will call in the morning to schedule a time to come out that day to assess the project. No body called , showed up or followed up. Very unprofessional . I guess we were saved from problems down the road even if we went with then.

Danny and his team did an outstanding job. He was very clear about how the process would go and everything went exactly as planned. He even managed to get done a day early by pushing through and getting the first coat done the day he sanded and prepped the floor. They moved out our furniture, sanded, refinished and moved the furniture back in being careful not to damage the furniture or the newly refinished floors. They really payed special attention to cover all the rooms with plastic and prevent getting everything dusty. They hand applied the stain which made a really nicely coated floor and kept it off our trim. He repaired a couple issues we had with squeaking floor boards and fixed a patch job that had been poorly done before. This job is really outstanding. I’d recommend Modern Quality Floors to our friends and would certainly use them again for any flooring jobs that we have.

Danny and his team did a great job installing hardwood floors for us and also matched them perfectly to our existing flooring. They arrived on time and finished early. They were very kind and considerate of our home and family. The quality and customer service were excellent. I would highly recommend Danny and his team to others. He's now done three jobs for us, and all three experiences have been great.

The project went extremely well. Danny is a consummate professional. He was on top of every detail. The work was performed exactly on schedule, there was absolutely no collateral damage to the apartment, the clean up was exceptional and the results are stunning. Within a such a short period of time, Danny was able to accommodate my needs to install the floors very quickly right prior to my move date. His team and himself done an excellent job! They were extremely cautious where the house was left really clean. Danny is extremely professional, knowledgeable, wonderful and informative person where he will guide you throughout the process of what/how he will be performing the job and will tell you exactly how to take care of your hardwood floor. They did a well done job!

I have used Modern Quality Flooring for two projects at two houses. Both experiences were great! They did an amazing job on the floors, helped me with color selection, and avoided getting any stain on my white baseboards! They did the stair at one property and those came out amazing as well! I will continue to use Modern Quality Flooring for all of my hardwood refinishing needs. Daniel even worked around a last minute re-schedule due to tenant issues! I highly recommend these guys.

The quote for the project was very reasonable. The work performed was high quality, completed when promised, and the work site was left very clean. We were provided with specific instructions about what we needed to do after the workers left so as not to win the finish before it dried. The quick turnaround was a pleasant surprise. There was a bit of phone messaging back and forth to get Danny out for a quote (okay, we are hard to reach too), but once the quote was given his team turned the project around in quick order. I'd highly recommend Modern Quality Flooring for any floor refinishing.

This is the second time we have used Modern Quality Flooring and we continue to be impressed with the results! Danny and team repaired a small section of flooring and then did a sanding and complete refinish of the hardwood floors in our condo. Danny helped to find the perfect color (we ended up combining two stain colors) and went above and beyond in all aspects of the work - pulling out and refinishing under large appliances, working to ensure compliance with all building guidelines, etc. Our floors looks absolutely amazing!
