All work was completed in one day and was very well performed and everything was cleaned up after all of the work was completed. Work was completed at the the proposed bid offered. Will use again.

I was extremely pleased with KG Roofing. I found them here on Angies List and gave them a call on a Friday. Chris said he will be out Saturday morning at 10:00 am. He made me a courtesy call 15 minitues prior to arrival. He arrived right on time at which point he went straight to work. I was assuming he was only going to provide me an estimate but after his inspection and much to my surprise, he completed the job right away. I would highly recommend the services of KG Roofing for anyone that is looking for prompt, affordable and quality work.

The job went very well. Chris and the crew were on time each day and started work immediately. The work done and quality was very good, all old material removed, and the grounds around the house were completely cleaned. Chris and crew did an outstanding job and would highly recommend him.

Chris showed up on time, finished in one day, and did exactly what he said he would do. I am very confident in his workmanship and would recommend him to anyone interested in working with a competent roofer.

Chris came out early and provided an explanation of the work that was needed ahead of time and completed all of the work in a very timely manner. He not not repaired the portion of the roof identified but repaired the area around the chimney that required installing new tins that was allowing water to enter the area around the chimney and caulked the areas as well to seal it off to the elements.Great work and would use again definitely.

I contacetd K&G on Wednesday afternoon requesting a roof inspection due to previous ceiling leaks. They told me that someone was already scheduled to be in my area the next day and would perform the inspection @ approximately 9:45 to 10am. Chris fro K&G was @ my home @ 9:50am. He inspected my roof and showed me the damaged Plumbing Boot. The job was completed within 1 hour. Chris was very pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Chris Gal of K&G Roofing is a very energetic, results oriented person. I first met Chris in June but due to my schedule he was unable to complete the project until September. This worked out for the better because one of my skylights failed after his first examination of the roof in June. The workers and Chris were very professional, worked quietly and afterwards cleaned up my property beautifully. There were 2 more items to be repaired in conjunction with the new roof. Chris found two competent people to do that work also. Not only did he do a super job but at a great price. I highly recommend Chris Gal of K&G Roofing.

Chris is very accommodating; we worked out all the details on the preparation for the job. He is reasonable, and he asks the right price for the service that is performed. He doesn't come with fancy presentations like other do (we had several other quotes, all higher price), they are essential, but they do the right things. Others come with all sort of details, like heavier felt paper, additional ice&water shield, way they put down the nails, etc. I requested all this options to Chris and the price was still far better than others (because others have to pay for overheads, showrooms, etc.). Bottom line they all do the same things, just some do it better than others. I've chosen Chris because I did my homework before, trying to understand ventilation and installation problems; so I knew what I wanted them to do. They arrived punctual and worked all day long, they cut new ridge vents and two sun tunnels, nailed all the new shingles, adjusted gutters. Everything was clean, no damage.

The whole process(tear off to new roof) started at 7:00 a.m. and finished by 6:00 p.m. Then the crew came the next day to do the final touches. They were hard working and cleaned our property thoroughly after the work was done. Chris supervised the work very closely and he even painted our chimney at no extra cost to us. In addition, he came a couple of times to nail in the channel in a couple of places so that it looked straight and to nail a few shingles that came loose because of the strong winds we had. Overall, we were very satisfied with his work and in fact, two of our neighbors had Chris replace their roofs at the same time we had ours replaced and were satisfied as well. If you need your roof replaced, Chris is your man!!

We noticed we had a leak during the recent severe storms in the Chicago area. We called KG Roofing and Chris set up an appointment for the next day. Chris was exactly on time, was up on the roof in a flash and identified the problem. He fixed it on the spot so that we don't have to worry about the rain that is expected later this week. Chris was very polite and professional. I have already passed his contact information on to my neighbors and would certainly recommend him to anyone with roofing needs.

I noticed roof damage from a recent storm on Friday. I signed up for Angie's list Friday night, found K & G on the site. I called Chris at 8am Saturday morning and left a message. He called back within 30 minutes and was onsite within 2.5 hours. He surveyed the damage and gave me a estimate, which I agreed to immediately. He came out and completed the work on Monday! When I hire a contractor my priorities are, in order of importance, quality of work, dependability, price and professionalism. Chris scored an A+ in all categories. When I contacted Chris for an estimate he was out within one day as PROMISED. He was very thorough in describing the work that was needed to bring my roof up to code and the materials that best fit my needs. After receiving several estimates I decided to hire Chris because of his professionalism and competitive estimate. I felt very comfortable that what he promised he would deliver. I trusted his character and expertise and he didn't let me down!! Chris promised an install date, weather permitting, and was at my door on the day of installation AS AGREED. His crew was very professional and hard working and Chris was here several times that day to supervise his crew!! They had the main roof torn off with new material installed in one day working from 7:00 a.m. until early evening. Chris and another member of his crew was here day two to inspect the work and complete the project and to make sure every scrap of roofing and nails were removed from my property. I can't say enough about Chris' attention to detail, quality of work and dependability. If you want a job well for a fair price done without the headaches HIRE Chris!!! Thanks Chris.

Chris explained the process very well so we knew exactly what to expect during the project. His price was very reasonable compared to the other two quotes we received. He brought samples of the shingles to our house for color selection and we used the manufacturer's online color selection tool. The tear off of the existing three layers of roofing took a bit longer than we originally expected due to the lack of underlayment beneath the first layer of shingles, but we were not charged for the considerable additional labor. Chris honored our request to use copper chimney flashing instead of aluminum flashing and we really appreciated the fact that he did not charge extra for the upgraded material. We were also very grateful that his crew left some shingles behind so we can use them on our garage. The crew was courteous and carefull and they cleaned everything up very well after they completed to job. KG did exactly what they said they would and Chris was very personable and communicative throughout the entire process. We were very satisfied with KG's service, communication, and performance and we are pleased with our new roof. I would highly recommend this company to anyone interested in quality work for a very fair price.

Finally, the results you would expect when hiring a contractor/roofer. I have had 2 seperate individuals look at my roof in an attempt to fix a leak. Neither were as professional or as organized as Chris. He came out within hours of a call and gave me a great estimate and told me when he would be coming back to do the job. He followed up with me when he said he would and came to my house and completed the job as promised.

Very happy with the work done and will them again for future needs.

Very responsive. I called the first time and Chris came out and did an inspection on my roof. He came back a week later and cleaned my gutters and fixed some flashings. He also fixed a couple downspouts for me. Overall, I am very happy with his work.

Chris contacted me within a half hour of my contact provider request on Angie's List. He came out to inspect and provide me with an estimate for repair work next day. He was prompt, knowledgeable, straightforward and very courteous. He finished the work within an hour & a half, checking & rechecking his work as he completed the repairs. All debris was removed and swept clean. I appreciated his honesty and the fact that his work is guaranteed.

We had someone come out and suggest that we have the roof entirely removed and replaced. However I had a friend tell me to get a second opinion and so I did. I found kg on Angie's list. They came out the same day and told me that the leak could be fixed without having to do the whole roof. We really appreciate his honesty and he did a great job.

Called in AM they arrived in about an hour, checked roof, assured us roof was solid but required caulking around roof pipes and sky light, thus eliminating the leak. Completed promptly.

The job was exceptional, communication was easy with Chris and he knew what he was doing. His crew worked precise, clean, and exceeded my expections. His staff was helpful in answering all questions. Chris was prompt in returning all phone calls. He and his staff are terrific.

Noticed a water spot inside my cathedial ceiling yesterday. Being November with the weather turning wet and snowy and Thanksgiving in 2 days I was very worried about getting this issue resolved immediately. I found KG through Angie's list and I am VERY HAPPY that I did! I called KG late in the evening and expected an anwsering machine to pick up. I was happy to have Chris from KG anwser the phone at 4:55pm. He said he would be out the next day between 9-10am. I was very happy to get a person at that time and even more delighted when Chris was at my door at 9:15am. Chris came is, saw the issue that I had and quickly went onto to roof. After a little bit he came down and told us that is was not a big deal, a crack in the flashing around the vent tube. He would fix it at no cost. I am SO HAPPY that I contacted KG ROOFING. They have truly made our Thanksgiving holiday special this year.

Came by to give an estimate the same day I called, at the time he said he'd be at the house. (Two other contractors didn't show at the appointed time, left their proposals, never contacted me again.) Price was $thousands less than a couple other estimates I received for the same 30-year architectural shingles. The work was completed in one day, just more than a week after the paperwork was signed. KG removed the old shingles, roof paper, flashings, etc., and replaced. Replaced all roof vents, and did exterior installation of thermostat-controlled fan (I did the electrical hook-up in the attic myself). Replaced the skylight window, did exterior installation of new tubular skylight (I had to buy the tubular at a home-improvement store myself, and I also did the interior part of the installation). We had a miscommunication about the position on the roof for the tubular, but that got immediately resolved. Pretty thorough clean-up of site; they had the dumpster hauled away the following day.

K G Roofing came out the next day after our phone call, gave us a very reasonable estimate on the replacement of our roof and a large skylight in our kitchen area. The estimate was 3000-4000 below every other estimate we had received for the work. They worked with our schedule to set a date for the job to be done. The crew showed up at on the date and time arranged as promised. The quality of the shingles were higher than what was presented by any other bidder and the skylight is a Pella skylight. The job was done in one day, the guys did a terrific job cleaning up, not one nail left anywhere! Overall a terrific experience. I am highly recommending K G to all my friends.

We really appreciated how quickly they did the work as well as how nicely they cleaned up after themselves.
