Sears HVAC

I am very pleased with the funance so far. Hopefully it will work well for the long haul.

Dealing with sears was a nightmare. they sent an eletrician who didn't have the right parts and no $$$ to go out an buy them. After huge hassle was told they don't supply this part but since the part was a safety electirical device and was working properly but shorted during the installation the Dist Mgr., had to step in and they sent out another electrician who arruved after 7on and just walked unannounced into the house! The furnace people have had to come back as we now experience vibrations when the unit kicks in. THe way the handle the sub-contractors and readiness was attrocious in this case.

The customer service was great. The salesmen were very patient answered all my questions and found me the best deal for what I wanted. The installer was professional and also answered my questions. I may have payed a small amount more, but I believe you pay for what you get and I am very happy with the service I recieved and now my home is warm again.

What a joy it was to work with such honest professionals!! The Salesman came out, and told me what to expect from the contractor, and everything he said would happen, did, and I had no clean-up when the job was completed. I highly recommend Sears Home Services!!

Glad to have heat after 3 days for waiting. Salesperson was very informative and installers were very professional.

They came right out, gave us an estimate and completed the job in one week. They explained everything and answered all our questions. They did a great job, put down tarps on my floors and cleaned everything up after. I couldn't be happier.

They were overpriced and could not begin the project when they said they would . Becuse the plumber did not come to inspect the location , prior to begining the job > which we were told that he would . They left a brand new boiler in my backyard and left . We called that day to complain and were told that the district manager would call us back immediately , and he never did . We then canceled the order . Sears never informed their plumber who showed up the next day . He was sent away , and signed a receipt for the boiler which he cam back to collect later . The District Manager finally called 24 hours too late and was not even apologetic .

They were real pros. So friendly and patient with my questions. I would recommend them to anyone.

Sears was unable to install a swamp cooler because my house is outside of their service area.

Everybody needs to upgrade to a more efficient HVAC system, that is if they can afford to do so. Not everyone can or needs to. Saving energy and money is key!

Excellent HVAC units and the contractor that installed the two units did a very professional job. The sales person and the installers were very professional and they did an excellent job in a very reasonable time frame.

Had a problem with Sears in the beginning with regards to the first intial contact with the sales rep. And then the unit I was supposed to get was not the right one. The problem was eventually corrected however I just felt it took to long. But overall, Im just glad my system is in. I pray it stays that way for a long, long time.

They were excellent

The Rep came out and she did a great job of doing a real energy survey on my house. She showed me that I did not need the 5 ton unit everyone else was trying to sell me and she showed my why and how it was computed. The price was reasonable for the Kenmore unit which is built by Carrier. The installer was friendly and did a nice job. My only concern was the follow-up with the Sears Rep. I asked for a copy of the estimate several times and never received it. I asked for a copy of the energy audit and never received it. I still do not know how my rebates, incenetives, and tax credit will work so now I do need to follow-up again.

Upon the inspection by the installer inspector , he stated that the air handler was not installed properly and needed to be reinstalled . All that work is completed an ready for the County final inspection .

I have nothing but the highest praise for the personnel of Sears Heating and Cooling-Orlando and the contractor personnel of Cool Solutions of Central Florida that did the aqctual installation. All were courteous and highly professional.
