When they came, they explained what they were going to do and if I had any questions or concerns before they started. I was concerned that if they thought I would have any problems with the sidewalk being level they showed me with a level that everything would be perfect. They drilled and pumped in the mud, patched the holes cleaned up the debris showed me that everything was done to my standards. They did a great job! They said they are about to do work for the city of Aurora so you know they are good and reasonably priced. I would recommend to anyone. As a matter of fact my neighbor is going to use them to raise his garage floor also.

2 Young men came to do the job. Things seemed to go OK until the block by the back steps. For some reason they used a saw to cut between the block & the rest of the backyard cement. When the mud was pumped in, the entire block rose 2" above grade. It appeared they were unsure of what to do. They kept trying things to get the block to slope down to the grade, including a crowbar without a fulcrum other than the bricks of our adjacent patio, crumbling the bricks. My Father had to stop them as they were starting to cut the re-bar of the block adjacent to the problem block, which would have caused that to rise up as well. In the end, they didn't know how to address the problem or how to fix it, did not call for advice, and the block is still 2'' higher than grade & 2'' away from the back steps. On top of that the hole to pump the mud is not sealed correctly & sand keeps wearing & washing out of the hole, becoming deeper. I had to call John to address the issue the next day. He said he was aware of the problem. He did not call us. He seemed reluctant to address the issue or look @ it till I pointed out the safety issue for people here who cannot mount the 2" difference without the assist of the railing which is now too far away. He did come out the next day at the agreed time. His only suggestion was to raise all the rest of the yard, or cement the edge to make a little slope out of it , which would not have fixed the safety issue & would cause ice to build just before the dangerous area. He acknowledged the hole that was not properly sealed ( right in front of the railing) But never came to fix it. Now we must wait until spring to get someone to remove the damaged block & pour a new one @ an estimated cost of $700.00.

They were the most professional of the 8 I had spoken with. They did a great job on the front step. The back steps were much bigger and they were able to level it and hopefully stabilize it.
