The service was outstanding. We hired the guys to fix what we thought was a simple bathroom sink clog. Turns out there was corrosion of a pipe in the wall that had to be drilled/rodded out. The guys stuck with it until everything was cleared and then charged us for only the original clogged drain service call. I mean, who does that?

Do not waste your time, go to the next one on the list. I hired 2nd Chance to repair a leak in the sewer pipe inside my basement leading into my main sewer line going out to the street. They came out quickly, did what I thought was diagnose the leak and proposed a solution that was cheaper than others I spoke with/got quotes. That is the end of what was good. They did not show up on time. They could not find the parts needed to connect two pipes together. Left for 3 hours to find the parts but did not tell me when they were coming back. Communication was horrible. After they eventually **completed** the job, I had to have them back out two different times since the leak was still leaking. One of the times, they **forgot** about me and I had to call to find out where they were. After they offered to fix the leak (this time for real) for the same $ as the first job. I decided to bring in 3 different plumbers to look at it and give me estimates. All three looked at the work that was completed and assumed non-plumbers did the work given the make-shift repair and given that the **correct** parts are easy to find at a plumbing supply store (not Menards like these guys went to). They connected copper pipe to PVC using connections that are not supposed to be used to cross over material types. I have since fixed the issue with another plumber I found through Home Advisor and it went right as rain, but I had to completely re-do all they work I had paid 2nd Chance to do. This company is bad news. If you do not believe me, note: 1. The profile says they have been in business since 2012, but there are only reviews on Home Advisor back to 3-19-2019. The first review on 3-19 had a similar experience to me. 2. All the reviews on Home Advisor are for small, side-type projects (replace sump pump or clear a clogged drain). Not more complicated projects like this one. I mean, I replaced my sump pump myself and I clean out clogs all the time. That does not make me a plumber. 3. There was no paperwork. When I asked for the quote they did not have me sign anything other than the check I wrote to them (that I now regret). This one is a big shame on me... 4. I saw two of their vehicles. Both of which are re-purposed, Roto-rooter vans. There is no affirmative indication of their company name on their vans. Is that how a good-standing company in business since 2012 portrays itself? 5. When I complained after all this, the owner stated they did what I ask them to do. The problem was I asked them to diagnose and fix the leak. He said I **asked for a temporary solution** I did, in that could I get by for a couple of years by not replacing a larger piece of pipe if I did this work. I was told yes. Their repair did not fix anything. Not even for a day. So his argument as to why he will not refund any of my $$$ is that I literally paid them to simply fix part of the leak, not all of it. I am filing complaints with Home Advisor and the BBB. When I hired them, I made the mistake of only looking at their composite review score and in talking to them, they seemed normal and nice at first. Shame on me for not doing my due diligence first. I have used several other plumbers over the years and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. USE THIS COMPANY AT YOUR OWN RISK. There are too many other decent plumbers on Home Advisor, just go to the next one.

I needed a sewer scope done on a home we are looking to buy as part of an inspection. They were able to get someone right away. He was very informative and took the time to explain things. I would definitely use them again.

Great guys. Very concerned about doing a good job and helping me out of a bad situation with a field some pump and an open house to sell the house to days later. They came out and fixed the problem with them a couple hours, even though there were some speed bumps along the way.
