Bob has been incredible to work with. We are really fortunate that we found Bob on Angie's List. He is honest, reliable and truly enjoys woodworking. He takes his time with building the pieces and installation. We received multiple quotes and Bob's pricing is competitive. We have really appreciated Bob's communication. His drawings are precise and he provides you with a written statement detailing what is included in the total price. We have more projects lined up for Bob. We have already hired him to complete our lockers & cabinets in our mudroom, 'organize' another closet and build matching cabinets in our laundry room. Bob is tidy and respectful of our home. He covers our floors and furniture while he is working. He cleans up after himself after the completion of every job. He sweeps out our garage! One of the best things about using Bob is that he brings all of the cabinets to his painter before he does the installation. It is so convenient to have the cabinets installed already painted. Bob also puts on all the hardware. His work is excellent. The fact that he has so many repeat customers is a testament to the quality of his work.

We had a wonderful experience with Bob Peterson. We asked Bob to design a fireplace mantel and overlay around our existing contemporary tiled fireplace in the family room. We met with Bob in our home and provided various pictures from magazines. He was able to design a piece that was truly beautiful. Bob kept us in the loop during the building process and ensured the color, look and fit was perfect. He is a very friendly, positive and genuine person. Bob is passionate about his craft and work, which is apparent from his final products. Bob responds to his customers concerns, ideas and requests and we will ask Bob to do more work at our home in the future.

Bob built and installed beautiful furniture style cabinets for our master bath. He was quick to respond to all inquiries and kept me informed of all progress and delays through the process. There was some damage to the cabinet when it was being installed and the edge against the wall did not look finished. Bob listened to my concerns and returned the next Day to attach scribe molding which covered the slight damage and gave it a professionally finished look. Thanks Bob, it was a pleasure working with you.

Of the three proposals we received, Bob was the most thorough in his approach and it was for this reason that we chose him for the work. We were not disappointed. While Bob may not be the fastest in getting a project completed, he wants it to be done correctly. I have nothing but great things to say about Bob, his professionalism, and his work. This project was not easy. We have a 70+ year old home with plaster moldings in our living room. He managed to create matching elements out of manufactured product (I don't remember the name) and it looks nearly seamless. It truly looks as if the bookcases were always there and not just a recent addition! I would highly recommend him for any carpentry work that you are considering in your home...

Boy, does this guy know his stuff! Bob initally came out to survey the location of the new bathroom vanity, and offer us options for what we wanted it to look like. We really didn't have a clear idea what we wanted, but he was able to make suggestions and after a couple of days presented us with an estimate and a simple drafted blueprint of the design. He worked with us to make minor changes and work out the specifics in great detail. We decided on a nice stained Oak, with drawers and cabinets set in, two columns, and a minor embellishment around the edges of the drawers and doors. Bob is very communicative, often sending us text messages to update us on the project status and responding right away when we had any questions. We had another contractor doing the rest of the bathroom remodeling project, and we put them in direct contact with Bob and vice-versa, and they were able to work out the installation specifics without me having to be involved at all. There was a minor issue with getting the components in time, which delayed us by a day or two on the installation, but those sorts of things are to be expected. On the installation day, Bob and a helper brought everything in and installed it perfectly. The carpentry, stain, and finish were spectacular! We were surprised by the amazing hinges and drawer slides that he used with a soft-close feature. Everything was absolutely top quality.

Bob is a very creative and experienced carpenter who worked with me to create a dream of ours... to double the space of a bedroom with a great looking loft to match a cottage decor. The work went well, with most work being done in our garage and some pieces finished his shop and brought to my home finished. He built 6" x 6" x 9 foot posts to support the one side that was not attached to the wall. The extra features were sides on the walls that I had not planned...and the finished look is fabulous and gives it a very finished look, as it makes the loft more than a bed also keeping the children away from my wallpaper. He thought of everything to match my cottage decor. The all-wood ladder hooks into the structure itself but can be removed and stored under the bed when not in use. He was forthright about the cost of painting the edifice, so we decided to paint ourselves and it turned out great. This is an amazing structure that gets raves from all who see it and those who sleep there. We could not be happier with the design, service, quality of carpentry, cost and timely work.

Bob worked with us to design cabinets, select styles and colors, and follow the project through to completion. Through it all Bob was patient and accommodating. In addition, when one of Bob's suppliers abruptly went out of business, Bob was honest with us about the change, explained the impact on the project and hustled to find an alternate supplier. Bob was always there when he said he was going to be and never had a cost overrun.

Bob did a fabulous job. He had excellent recommendations on the style of moldings that would work in each room, and on the wainscoating that would work for the room at a reasonable price. His judgment and recommendations on how to improve the rooms he worked in was excellent; he helped steer us away from more expensive, complex work and towards ideas that fit with our planned use of the house (we have small kids) and our style and desire to bring more light into the foyer. He worked really well with the other contractors we had working on site (the painter and electrician) and was punctual and completed the project on time. The end product just looks great and is of high quality.

Bob did a fantastic job. He was prompt, extremely courteous, very responsive to questions and suggestions that my wife and I made regarding adjustments and changes. He always quietly went about his work, no loud music, he doesn't smoke so there was no tell-tale smoke smell in our outside the house. There were several days that he could not come due to previous job commitments (installations of cabinets at other job sites which could not be avoided) which he had informed us about prior to starting our work. Our project took a little more than a week. We felt so comfortable with Bob that we actually gave him a house key and garage door opener both of which he still has because he will be returning in the next few weeks to build/install ceiling/cove molding in the dining room mentioned above. The quality of Bob's work is of the highest caliber. I am a perfectionist--I've built furniture, worked for two summers in a furniture factory in Grand Rapids, MI while in college, and have done a lot of furniture repair and refinishing. He is a master-craftsman and very reasonably priced. It has been a great experience.

Bob did a great job and communicated to us effectively along the process. Bob showed up when he said he would and was always within 15 minutes of his appointment time. He also refinished some other cabinet doors in our kitchen. Overall we are very happy withhiswork

The project was custom job throughout. Bob Peterson is a fine, cabinet making grade carpenter. He: 1. LIstens to the client's needs. 2. Proposes several workable solutions. 3. Is meticulous in his work habits. 4. Performs spectacular work--his is not just installing pre-made cabinets (although he does this well too), but he is a true custom craftsman. He has been employed to build not only cabinets, but pulpit and narthex furniture for various churches as well. To be in such demand is a testament to his finely honed skills. 5. Would use him again and would not even bid it out to others. 6. HIghly recommended.

Bob designed and built lockers/cabinets for our mudroom/laundry room. This is like a customized version of the pottery barn lockers. He worked with us to get the best use of our space and had wonderful suggestions. We even created a cabinet for our vacuum and small brooms. He was fast, efficient and very trustworthy. The concept was the most important and he really worked with us to make sure it was everything we wanted. Then, he build the cabinets himself and acted as the general contractor for the tile guy, electrician, painter, etc. to get everything done in budget and on time. We highly recommend him and are delighted with our improved mudroom. In addition to the lockers being so functional, everyone who comes to the house comments on how great they look!

From design ideas to contracting for services to straight forward updates to the project completion, Bob was exceptional.

He is really good and we love him. He is awesome. He does incredibly good carpentry work. He is exact and does everything very detailed. When he makes appointments he actually shows up and on time, unlike some contractors. If he does have to rechedule he will call to make sure it is ok. He is very conscientious and does very, very good work. We just really like him.
