Chris Booker Plumbing Repipes & Dryer Vents

I ordered a special on Angie's List for Chris Booker to install an A.O. Smith 50 gallon gas water heater. The old water heater was very close to the basement wall. Being I have intentions on sealing and painting the wall I asked Chris if he could install the new water heater away from the wall as much as possible with out making it a major project. He complied by moving the new heater a approximately 4 inches further away from the wall without charging me extra. The water heater and installation were flawless. Having moved into this older condo a few days ago we did not like the way the gas dryer was working... taking too long to dry. My suspicion was the curled exhaust hose venting out the bottom of the dryer. I asked Chris what he thought and he agreed that the hose had too many "curls" in it. He pulled the dryer out from the wall and then made an additional observation .... the hose was not entirely attached to the outlet tube on the wall. He went down to the basement and cleaned out the entire "funnel" leading to the outside of the house. Then he offered to cut the hose to a straighter length and said he would have to cut some of the dry wall to enable the dryer hose to attach properly to the outlet tube. Well, guess what? When he cut the dry wall we discovered a "ton" of dryer lint INSIDE the WALL. Chris's diligence actually prevented us from a possible fire in the wall from all that lint build up. Mind you, this was at 9 P.M. Chris stayed well be beyond his original time to install the water heater. The additional cost was incredibly reasonable.

Our clothes dryer died and we ordered a new one. When the company came to install the new dryer, they could not complete the connection because our connectors were very old and not to current code. They told me to call a plumber. I called Chris right away (Wednesday). I have two sons (3 years and 3 months) so we do a lot of laundry in my house. I really needed the dryer setup. Chris was able to squeeze me in (I think when he usually eats lunch) on Friday. He was on time and totally professional. He corrected the issue and checked my dryer vent while he was there. He said they looked fine and didn't require cleaning. I also asked him a couple of questions about my water heater and he gave me straight answers. Bottom line: Chris is honest, dependable, and super professional. He always cleans up anything that is displaced while working, wears protective shoe covering on my hardwood floors, and he doesn't find ways to squeeze extra money out of me. I so highly recommend him.

Easy review to write... called me back within a day to schedule a visit. He arrived on time (not 2 minutes early or 2 minutes late). Work took the amount of time he estimated. He was careful and clean. Enough said! Perhaps one more thing to say: I will be calling him again for my next dryer vent cleaning.

Chris is awesome - we used him this time, but had also used him a couple years prior. He is easy to contact - amenable to cell phone, email, text message, etc. He is flexible and has evening hours to account for full work days. He is also very reasonably priced. He fixed a pipe that had come loose in our shower, as well as a few other leaky things we had been putting off. He fixed them quickly and efficiently - super friendly, clean, and honest.

Installation of new pump on a big deal was all he expected. I asked if he could adjust plumbing pipe that was hanging freely in the crawl and then wanted a antifreeze configuration set up on the exterior of the house. Chris then discussed replacing the check valve too which was old and I agreed. He had all the piping necessary to complete what I wanted. We went over the entire set up together and it was better than I had expected. I will without a doubt call Chris on any plumbing projects I have.

Unfortunately I was unable to use the deal. However, their customer service was very friendly and helpful in a difficult situation.

Chris was professional, clean, courteous and did everything he promised. We are very happy with the new 50 gallon, up from 40 gallons, AO Smith hot water heater as well. Would definitely recommend Chris to anyone needing plumbing services

Contacting Chris was easy. He was extremely responsive and detailed in his analysis of my plumbing situation. He gave me options, and explained the pro's and con's of each. After a short number of days, Chris replaced my failing hot water system with a new more-efficient system. Chris did excellent work, and I plan to hire him again for my next plumbing job.

Chris was very professional. He returned my call promptly and answered any question I had. He was very neat, laying down a drop cloth as well as wearing shoe covers inside the house. He explained the work he did in detail and seemed genuinely thankful for my business. Highly recommended!

Chris arrived on time. He was very careful about not getting the house dirty. He explained what he was going to do. He was very thorough especially with testing his work when it was complete to make sure there were no problems. Five days later we are very happy with his work. He gave us a quote on another project while he was here and took measurements so he could provide a quote on a third project. He stuck with the original price he quoted for the project even though it might have been more complicated than he expected.

He cleaned the vents for the dryer as requested. I asked for a quote for replacing valves and faucets to tub in upstairs bathroom. He said he'd get me an estimate within a week. I never heard from him again.

His work was superb and at a modest price. He is polite, neat, and responsive. He explains what he is doing and is intent on quality. I could not get a better plumber.

Technician came out onsite and was 15 minutes early so got started right away. Finished the replacement and testing within 3 hours and cleaned up the area and gave me information for maintaining the hot water tank as well as info for registering with the company for warranties. Overall a very good experience and will hire for other services.

The process went very well. Chris was very thorough. He worked at getting it right.

Chris arrived ahead of time. He had already checked the hot water tank set up and installation area via photos sent to him the week before. He then checked out the area and explained exactly what other materials were needed. No surprises, no hidden costs. He showed me receipts and total cost. Installation process took some time. I knew how long because Chris was very accurate with his estimate. The job itself was supberb. He took time to be sure each hook up was correct and the copper pipe soldering was done correctly and neatly. He also took time to clean up the debris and even debris that had been left behind by some other plumber who had done work on someone else's hot water heater. Overall, superb job, done right the first time!

Was great. We told Chris several of our problems and he fixed everything within the time we had purchased in advance. 2 sinks unclogged, bathroom leak repaired, and other sinks serviced. Good guy and very happy with results - would definitely use Chris again!

He is great about being punctual and calling to set up appointments. The clogs were extremely severe, and he managed to fix them. Also, he found the leaky pipe that would turned into a nightmare if he hadn't spotted it. We are so grateful for his work. Really good plumber and he left a great impression on a personal level, too.

This was the second time I have used Chris Booker. Both times were situations that required immediate help. Chris promptly responds phone calls, and when he knows there is a situation that needs immediate attention, he makes it a point to get out quickly..even on weekends. He takes care to clean up after himself so that he doesn't leave a mess behind. He does the work that needs to be done and doesn't try to oversell. He is professional in every aspect, and the quality of his work is as good as anyone's. Chris Booker will be our plumber going forward, and I highly recommend him.

I'm very impressed with the workmanship, professionalism and knowledge (of the codes/standards) of CHRIS BOOKER. Chris met with me for an estimate right on time as we had agreed to. He was able to caluclate all the materials needed and labor while on this visit/ When I gave the go-ahead a few days later, he then began the job on the day/time agreed upon and it took him the amount of time he said it would require (about 10 hours). Chris and his assistant Kevin deserve call out not only for the quality of work they did but also the courteousness they showed our family. For example. at the end of the day Kevin took the time to tell my visiting 82 year old mother "It was a pleasure to meet you, m'am." Old fashioned manners combined with quality workmanship is nice find nowadays. For the most part, all my pipes in my one story home were exposed as I had removed basement ceiling for a separate remodel project and I had cut an access hole in a 1st floor closet wall for tub faucet access. This way Chris' time was spent on plumbing instead of demolition. The old pipes were cut and removed and all debris hauled away and areas were vacuumed clean afterwards. If it weren't for the increased water flow, you wouldn't know they were here. I think the price was fair and given the quality of end result (neatness of joints, layout of pipe runs, clean up as they went, etc) it was well worth the price. I know CHRIS BOOKER has good reviews for smaller jobs, too. If you have a larger project like mine was, don't hesitate to consider Chris. I will be calling him again soon for another job at my other house.

Chris was excellent. He was professional and punctual. He explained everything in detail and showed me the blockages in my vent on his Ipad. He was first rate.

I called Chris to see if he could replace our failing Sewer Ejector Basement Pump. He called me right back and made an appointment to come out late that evening. He arrived when he said he would and promptly replaced the Pump. He even went as far to mop out the oil or substance the leaked out of the broken pump. He was very pleansant and professional. I would highly recommend him.

Called Chris with a slow drain. He called back promptly and came 2 days later. By then, my son had dropped a piece of metal down the sink drain. The great thing about Chris is that he is so respectful of the home. He wears shoe covers, lays out floor coverings to protect floors where he is working, and is very careful when carrying his tools through the house. He took apart the sink, located the metal piece, and cleared the clog causing the slow drain. He gave me some tips for keeping the drain clear. He cleaned up and replaced things that were taken from under the sink. Very professional. Chris is excellent.
