Our overall experience with Edward Dolan was very positive. He was professional and completed the project in a timely manner. He was very honest and accurate with his start date and he worked every day on our project from start to finish (about 2 weeks). The built-ins are beautiful and have completely changed the look and feel of our living space. They are exactly what we had envisioned. We felt Ed's workmanship was very high quality and that he holds himself to a very high standard of work.

Very good experience working with Mr. Dolan. We provided him with rough design drawings and specifications and with minor adjustments he was able to construct and install a product with which we are very pleased. He made two trips to our residence in order take measurements and clarify our design requirements before he started constuction. He was also very accomadating to a last minute minor design addition. Would recommend him to others.

Really, it couldn't have gone better. Ed met me when he said he would be here, was flexible with schedules, and met each deadline. His price was also the most reasonable, almost by 2/3 for the most expensive quote. I can't imagine what someone could have improved upon! Ed also custom designed a deep drawer and a cubby with pocket doors in each bench, the cubby because of space issues.

Went very well. Very professional and listened to what we were looking for. Provided ideas and suggestions. We were very pleased with the quality of what was built. Always communicated along the way so we new when to expect him and what he was working on.

Ed Dolan is a friendly, polite man who does a quality job. We always heard back from him in a timely manner. He did some of the work at home and some on-site. The bookcases are beautiful and done for a fair price. We would definately hire him again.

Requested quotes from three companies on Angie's List -- Ed's quote was right in the middle, but I trusted his instincts immediately and knew he was the person for the job. He listened to my ideas, and helped me narrow down what I wanted by asking the right questions. He sent a written quote, and once accepted, came to our home one evening to show us the exact post, balluster and rail he planned to use. That was very impressive. The job went exactly as planned and the staircase is now my favorite feature!

The bookcase turned out even better than I hoped. It was done in cherry and modeled after one already in my home. Ed came out and looked at the one I had and made one exactly the same style, but in a different color, as this was a gift for a family member, who was thrilled with it.

Couldn't have gone better..Ed returned my call immediately and was out to see the job to be done within a couple days. He took measurements and did all of the work in his shop until it was time for installation. He then showed at the precise time he promised and within an hour had the beautiful new table installed. The stain he used matched the other kitchen woodwork. He was always very professional, and kept me updated on progress by e-mail along the way.

Our home had wrought iron railings between the living room and entry levels. The railings screamed "1984!" and had to go. We found Ed on Angies List and he promptly quoted the job. Once we gave him the go ahead, he came back out to re-check his measurements and finsihed the work the next week. It looks great. I did not rate the price because we did not have a comparable quote for this work, but we are pleased with the results for what we paid. Ed always arrived when he said he would. The quality of the detail work is outstanding.

Ed is very professional and very methodical. He does a good job and is very particular about his work. He built a desk with attached cabinet for our kitchen area which will house our computer and files. He did very good work and I would highly recommend him.

From concept to execution, Ed was a true professional. He totally understood my vision for the space, and the finished product could not have materialized more beautifully. His price was excellent and he was extremely pleasant to work with.

Ed returned my call immediately. He told me what he would charge and we made an appointment for the work within days. He arrived on time and was courteous, professional and neat. He asked where he could cut the doors to create the least amount of disturbance and mess for me. He rehung the doors and ensured that they worked properly. It was a very positive experience.

Ed responded to my e-mail very quickly (on a Sunday). From the time first I contacted Ed, he was always very responsive. Ed was very prompt when he came out to take measurements and when he started the job. After accepting Ed's proposal, he came back out to take some final measurements and to discuss how we wanted to do the bookcases. On the first day of the scheduled work, Ed showed up at 8 am just as we had discussed. It took about 2 days to complete the work. After the work was complete I noticed the windows were not trimmed to accommodate the blinds. I called Ed and he returned the next day to fix the problem. Ed did an excellent job. The bookcases he built look beautiful and he built them with adjustable shelves so they are also very functional. I was very pleased with all of his work and his professionalism.

I highly recommend Ed for custom cabinetry or fine carpentry work. He was professional, easy to work with, understood what we were trying to accomplish, and we couldn't be more pleased with the quality of our new pantry and cabinet door. From the beginning, Ed worked with us to stay within our budget and offered us options to make the job more cost effective without sacrificing the quality of the finished product. Throughout the job, Ed was on schedule and communicated with us often to give us updates on his progress. He was responsive when we had questions - often answering them the same day that we called.

Ed returned my calls promptly. He always asks for clarification when needed and has wonderful vision regarding a finished piece. He arrived on time, covered and protected the area where he was working, and cleaned up as he went along. I would trust him with any interior trim project or carpentry, he is a fine craftsman.
