Called to let me know they could come early and worked around my schedule. 2 technicians were very respectful and performed services as promised with Angie's List coupon.

It went very well. During the maintenance of the inspection he noticed the short cycling, basically the front end doesn't fully engaged to heat and he fixed this problem which I am very pleased with. He was prompt and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Was not able to use the service

It went very well. I've hire other contractors to service this boiler and none have ever went to the length that this company did just to service this boiler.

I was told to use different filters - fiber filters, and that would help air flow and, ultimately, reduce my heating bill. I was also advised to change the filter frequently and that this would help performance. The other filter was causing the furnace to shut off too often and my need to turn up the thermostat.

It was good. They were good, very professional, very timely. I had them to the schedule. They gave me the exact time and the big thing, they replaced it within the same day. I would strongly recommend them. Somebody doesn't have a time to fool around, these are the guys to go to.

Great, Professional and explained how my heat works. It was enlightening. As a condo owner, these things are important!

This is the second time I have hired this company to help with servicing our AC and furnace. They are punctual, professional and get the job done. I will definitely hire them again. However, during servicing when they find any specific part that needs replacement their costs are ridiculously expensive. This time they found our furnace igniter to be worn out and needing replacement. The replacement cost they quoted was $195 and after a 10% discount they offered it for $175. After a brief research I brought this part for $35 from Amazon and it took me less than 5 minutes to replace it. I understand labor cost adds up but $145 additional expense for a 5 minute replacement job is ridiculous.

Our furnace stopped working overnight. We called Freedom H& C early in the morning around 8:30 am. At first it seemed we would have to wait until the afternoon to have some one come out, but they managed to get us an early appointment. Their technician Bill then contacted us at around 9:30 am to let us know he was on his way, and he was at the job site by 10:20 am. He was courteous and professional. He took a look at the inside of the unit and after testing it, he immediately identified a problem with the hot surface ignition part, which had cracked. He then promptly went back to his truck and got a new one. After a few more minutes and after checking the rest of the parts, the unit was once again working. We are very grateful they were able to accommodate us quick because the inside our condo was hitting the low 60's by the time we figure out the unit had stop working, and other vendors were telling me no one could come out until the late afternoon. Will definitely use them again. Thanks guys! :)

Purchased deals for furnace and water heater maintenance. Was able to schedule the work when I needed it done--within two weeks of purchasing the deal. Overall it went very well. Nick called prior to arriving to explain that they'd be a bit late due to an earlier job taking longer than expected. They showed up 45 minutes late--no big deal. Nick worked on the furnace and Willy worked on the water heater. They were both very professional and explained the services they would be performing. Nice that they sent a two man crew to knock it out quickly. In addition to routine maintenance, they also replaced the flame sensor on the furnace and showed me how to drain the water heater. I feel confident that they did a good job and I learned quite a bit about my furnace and hot water heater.

The service went well. My wife dealt with the technician who came out. I paid an additional fee to have them to change a humidifier pad and some other work that was quite a large project. They showed up on time and were respectful of my home. I had no problem scheduling the deal. It did take a while to get it scheduled but it is understandable because they offered such a good deal.

As planned. They got me for an $85 valve replacement, but to be expected.

It went great. Willie came out and did a great job. Very friendly and courteous. He checked my humidifier, which hasn't worked in a while and gave me the cost to fix or replace it. The last person that came out told me it couldn't be fixed. He did not charge me for the extra time to evaluate it. Would definitely use them again. Still deciding what to do with humidifier however they will not charge a trip charge if they come back.

Dealing with Freedom was great from start to finish. They were very responsive in scheduling the appointment. They kept me well informed on when they would arrive. The service technician was friendly and very knowledgeable about furnace systems. He did a great job cleaning and prepping the furnace for the months ahead and provided great suggestions on future maintenance. I would definitely use Freedom Heating and Cooling in the future.

After checking the first heater, he said that the gas valve needed to be replaced, which would be around $500 plus an additional part that needed to be replaced as well, and it will be an additional $160 installed, he mentioned that maybe it was the same issue with the other but he will check. He check the second heater upstairs and sure enough he said that it was the same problem for the gas valve only. Since it was only 18 days after we just purchased the house, I told the technician that I will go back to my realtor and see what we could do about this, and rejected the work to be done in my house, as it was going to be $1,160.00. Before he left he made me fill out a small survey, which at the time of the service I thought was good, because I'm a new homeowner and I have no clue as to how things work yet, and I thought that the guy was professional and legit about what he had told me, so I provided a good review. We decided to get a second opinion from a technician from Sears (Not through Angy's List), and he check both heaters again, and found out that the problem was that there was not enough gas coming in the house to power up both heaters, so I end up paying twice for the same service and after calling People's gas they came and fix the problem. I'm glad that we got a second opinion otherwise we would've paid $1,160.00 for parts that were not needed. My first time using Angie's List and it was not a good experience, which leads me to question now how much can I really trust the services listed here.

Willy and another very nice fellow whose name I don't recall came by at the appointed time, keeping me posted on their arrival time while en route. Willy is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy and he explained step by step what he would be doing. They did a thorough job both cleaning and inspecting two furnaces in an owner occupied two flat building , gave me some very good advice on what kind of filter would be both best and least expensive for our needs (no allergies), found a small water leak my tenant's furnace that could have caused damage over time and generally did a very thorough job,. I was very satisfied and planned to call again next time I needed an inspection. I highly recommend Freedom Heating and Cooling.

He gave me some Staino like I could use a stainless steel liner in the chimney. Then he said we our out of flame sensor the voltage is little under do you want to replace it and I said how much is it. He says $5185 which I thought was kind of high since he was here already. He cleaned it, this and that. I guess it was worth the $29. It was okay. Then I went online and I looked the flame sensor, the flame sensor is like $30. It was a little high price with the selling stuff. He spent time, He did clean it with his little vacuum cleaner and stuff like that.

I got these services with an Angies List special deal. The technician came when scheduled and cleaned and checked the furnace and said everything looked great.
