Sean was punctual, professional, thorough, had a great sense of humor, and most importantly-knowledgeable. Not only did he do a great job but he also explained what he was doing as he went along. He answered my questions, gave me suggestions and tips. He noticed my furnace was over 20 years old and recommended a new one, gave me a quote, but was not pushy at all, just told me what to watch for. I will definitely call for Sean again when it is time to replace the old furnace.

Had Sean out twice. First time was to replace clogged pipe and clean boiler, second was to remove old steam valve and install new one. Both times Sean was awesome. He was prompt, friendly, thorough and very knowledgable. He not only fixed the boiler but made sure I understood how to properly maintain the boiler and very clearly answered all my questions about its basic functions. He helpfully suggested that I purchase the steam valve myself to save money and showed me how to install. He could easily have just installed one he had and charged me more but his honesty saved me money and earned my loyalty to the company. When I had trouble removing the old steam valve, he came back out and had it done in less than 15 minutes. I will definitely be using Freedom Heating and Cooling from now on.

We recently purchased a condo so we wanted to make sure furnace was efficient. After minor replacements, everything was verified.

Even though we had a maintenance and cleaning visit by freedom heating and cooling 2 weeks earlier and we were told things were ok our furnace stopped working. We called and they sent some one the same day. He inspected the furnace and indicated that he needed to replace the inducer. The cost of the inducer is $75 on the internet. The work took less than 30 minutes but we were charged $640. This is unheard of . Labor at most should be equal to the price of the part. We were taken advantage of because it was a cold day and this is a physician office and we could not afford to let our visitors sit in a cold office. So essentially they charge more than $800 per hour for labor.

It went very well. This was the most thorough furnace inspection I've experienced. Guillermo, the technician, started out by asking me how long it had been since I changed the batteries in my thermostat which was something I had never given a thought to but it's something I'll pay attention to going forward. During the inspection of the unit, he was knowledgeable, thorough and patient with my questions.

A couple of days before Freedom came out to do a cleaning and inspection of my furnace, the unit began to shut off intermittently. When the technician arrived he quickly found out that the furnace's pressure switch was faulty and he said that it would be no problem to replace it along with the inspections and tune up. The technician did a thorough and efficient job but it took way longer than he led on as he had to go get the pressure switch from his office. I was also surprised that they charged a diagnostic fee on top of the charge for installing a new pressure switch as he would've done a diagnostic anyways with my tune-up that I paid for through Angie's List. Freedom's price to install my pressure switch was high but I let them do it anyways since they were on site.
