We had Freedom do a furnace tune-up before winter as my wife and I have a newborn and wanted to prevent any issues. The service man came, checked a few items to make sure everything was working correctly and that was it. A few weeks ago our furnace stopped working correctly. We called Freedom to service it again. The service man made a Saturday visit but wasn't able to diagnose the issue, noting he needed to come back when he could call the furnace manufacturer for customer support. He did note that the furnace was very dusty (i.e. more than could have just built up in a couple months) which was disappointing the original tech who did the preventative work didn't address it. Ultimately the service tech came back during the week, explained the error sign was normal because of the furnace I have, and charged a couple hundred bucks. I would only buy a preventative deal in the future if the cost of that deal was applied to any future repairs in the same season or 3 to 4 months, otherwise, it seems of relatively little value.

The gentleman Sean who can in to take a look...wow amazingly intelligent and nerdy...explained everything very patiently. Showed me around everything and kept asking me if I had any questions. He was so good I felt obliged to give him a $20 tip on the way out to which he said 'wow no one ever gives a tip in this line of business' He was very gracious. I said to myself, well this is the kind of person I wouldn't mind tipping because of how nice he is. The only one small little regret I had after the fact was that I saw a coupon on Angies in a few days from this same vendor for $49 instead of the $69 that I ended up paying. If only I knew that is what they were going to do I would have asked to see if I can get that deal too :)

They were on time and polite and informative. They did a full inspection, testing for gas fumes, how the furnace ran and so on. The igniter tested outside of the recommended range so they replaced it for an additional $85 which was for the part and labor. That was expected, since the original deal did not include extra parts or work. I found out later I probably could have bought the part myself for $30 or less and replaced it but I did not have that knowledge or experience and was ok with them using their expertise to do it. Overall, it was a fine experience.

Everything was fine! They explained everything well and the pricing was excellent.

They took a look at the old furnace, told me what it would cost to fix it and to replace it. We decided to replace it and they did the job that same day. Very professional!

the provider worked quickly and gave good advice. He bled the gas line to the furnace in the basement and was able to get the heat on. There was no extra charge.

It was good. I did not pay more than the $129 big deal. They were very courteous and prompt. They showed up on time. I have noticed much, they did what they told me to do and they did all what they were supposed to do. I am satisfied with their overall service. I had no problems. I have no questions or anything regarding their service. The price was great.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was fine. Everything is working fine, and there are no issues. I paid an additional charge for whatever he needed to replace. One person came out. I can't remember exactly if it was the owner or the representative.
