It was good. The service guy is very detailed with his work and he explained it well. Even though he went up and down the stairs I would prefer that he put the covers on his shoes inside the house.

It went well, I was not aware of all of my systems problems.

We had recently completely remodeled our basement including full demo of the old space. The construction dust was caked on the side of the furnace and was casing the unit to not function properly and caused it to run very loud. In addition i was having issues with the thermostat turing the fan on and off rapidly. The service person called 30 min prior to arrival. When he showed up we talked through the issues. After he opened the furnace to show me the drywall dust caked all over, he explained very clearly what he would do. After that we looked at the thermostat. I have a Nest, he explained some of the issues he had seen with them in other houses. He walked me through the trouble shooting of the Nest. He ended up pulling new wires for the Nest. He cleaned up he space after he was done and left. Now the AC cools the house more efficiently and is much quieter and the Nest is working great. They will be back in a week to do the duct cleaning.

Called prior. Let me know names of two people (nice safety feature), quickly cleaned and went to second location. Did a thorough job of explaining how it should be, why it needed freon.

Two technicians came, one stayed at the outside unit, the other in the basement. They stayed for at least 30 minutes. One took a photo showing the indoor blower and filter and how dirty it was. I knew it was mine because I had water in my basement a while back which also affected my other appliances. He gave me his recommendations without pushing more business. My AC is an older unit and they could have very easily done so. For this reason, I will call them again. Because their work was minimal, I hesitate to say any more until I have them come back. But for what they did, I was very happy.

STAY AWAY FROM FREEDOM HEATING AND COOLING!!! I called Freedom based on their ratings. I told them I had some issues with uneven cooling of the house and I needed my the AC unit moved about 10 feet. They said they would have to send a technician for that and it would be $69 for an inspection and the cost of moving the unit would be $109/hour plus materials. He also mentioned they would be able to tell me if I needed a new system. That should have been my warning to stay away but against my better judgement I agreed on the inspection. Their guy was at my home for about 45 min for the inspection. He looked at the unit and ductwork and recommended a couple of solutions but said improvement in cooling would be minimal. He showed me my dirty filter which I already new needed replacement and the dirt on the condenser which should be hosed off. He did not open or look at the blower. He spoke to the office about moving the unit and came back with a price of $625. I said I have an Angie's list coupon for 10% off and he said that was for parts only (but when I checked Angie's list later it says for any service over $200) I said that the estimate seemed like a lot but he made it sound really complicated because they would have to move the electrical (which they did not) and extend the supply lines. When he gave me the bill for the inspection he told me it would be $69 plus $109 for service (what service this was an inspection) but he would waive the $109 service fee. I paid them $69 plus a $300 deposit towards moving the unit. Two guys showed up on time today to move the unit they were very professional. Before they started work I mentioned the coupon to them and he said he would check with the office. They were here for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The did not move the electrical, only extended it along with the supply lines. When they finished I mentioned the coupon and the fact that they were only here 2 and half hours and asked if could they talk to the office about the cost because labor should be about $300 and it seems that 10 feet of wires, conduit, and copper tubing shouldn't cost $325. The response from the from Freedom Heating and Cooling was there is NOTHING THEY CAN DO and Freedom Heating and cooling CANNOT HONOR THEIR ANGIE'S LIST COUPON because the did the best they could on the estimate. I told the technicians that I did not blame them and I understand but feel that I have been TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF by Freedom Heating and Cooling. I am looking forward to hearing from Freedom Heating Cooling. I would like them to explain why the cost of moving my a/c 10 feet was $625 when it only took 2 and half hours and why they refused to honor an Angie's list coupon.

The staff was very friendly, but cancelled the day before the appointment because their ladder was only 32 feet long. I was very clear at time of booking that I needed a 40' ladder to access the roof. They were very apologetic, but it cost me about a week, and should have been recognized at time of booking.

They were great. It was a great value. They were very nice. They didn't do much. They did a clean and check for the air-conditioner. I would tell a friend or a neighbor to give them a try. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal price. The guy seemed eager for my business.

For the service it was fine. They forgot my appointment. I called them to see when my appointment was and I had to reschedule. Before service, AC was working fine, SP came in, 3 weeks after developed slow leak. I was charged $549 to fix the leak, there was no leak before they came and they did not detect any leak while they were there.

Everything was done professionally, cleanly and pleasantly. All 3 repair folks have been very personable and helpful. Dispatch also pleasant and accommodating.

I was able to get an appointment the day I needed it scheduled. The service man was on time and professional. He determined both air conditioners needed to be replaced. They service men showed up the next day, first thing in the morning. They introduced themselves; told me what they were going to do; and completed it in a very professional manner. They put tarps down so they didn't get my floors/carpeting dirty. Took all the boxes, etc. with them. Excellent service at a reasonable price. I would use them again.

Willy and Pete re-lit our pilot light after our basement flooded. They were able to come out right away and did not charge us! We have used Freedom many times and have always been very pleased! Willy also did a great job of explaining the process.

The estimator came and was very helpful/knowledgeable. The installation team was courteous and professional.

The service went fine. They took a week to get the appointment other than that they were efficient, courteous and showed up on time. They did what they were supposed to do.

It went ok. Rick and Jenti came right on time, they cleaned and checked the air conditioning, they said our air conditioner is an older model, so it doesn't not run as efficient, they recommended that we purchase a pound of freeon, which cost about $88, we declined. Hopeful, we will get that next time through Angie's deal.

It was a great experience! They arrived on time/early and called when they were on their way. The technician was friendly, professional, clean, and wasted no time getting to work! Our unit hadn't been checked in three years, and they did a great job! We definitely noticed a difference in the cooling. We have found our new HVAC company! We are going to have them come back in the fall to do inspect the furnace too! : ) Thank you Freedom Heating and cooling!

The gentleman that came explained that he called his boss and that his boss told him not to clean it because they didn't want to be liable if there was a crack underneath the dirt that might be there. Got the feeling that they were looking for a quick easy cleaning job and weren't really interested in a job that was actually going to be a difficult cleaning. I called the boss and that is what the boss told me. A full cleaning would take hours as they would have to take apart components and clean them. It would be a much longer job than a light cleaning. I stated that the Big Deal didn't say a light cleaning, it said a cleaning. I called another company that has serviced our furnaces before, we have 3 in our duplex and I have them scheduled for later this week. I have a problem with companies that advertise on Angie's List for a Big Deal where if the big deal turns out to be an actual Big Deal for the customer, they always want to sell you something or add money to it...sigh...this was no different but I would steer way clear of this company.

The ten-year-old water heater in our recently purchased home was not producing enough hot water. Freedom Heating and Cooling responded promptly to our request for service and sent a technician to our house the next day. He flushed out the tank (apparently the first time this had been done) and now the water heater works well--no shortage of hot water. Very good service.

It went well, Sean, the technician sent, was very knowledgeable. There was the addition of changing out the thermal coupler. I inquired about yearly maintenance package, but wasn't satisfied with the price to handle the two units at a single time price. I thought the Freedom price was set too high.

Great! No issues except when I bought the Angie's List Deal. I did not receive a call or email as stated on the deal. Service was excellent when they care.

Refund. My system not within provider expertise.

Sean, our service tech, was top notch. Arrived on time, was easy to talk to, made sure to take care around our wood floors and was very knowledgeable. He explained what all he found in simple terms, showed to me the key AC readings and helped me install new air filters. I was was very impressed with his professionalism and quality of service. Next time I call Freedom - I'll ask for Sean. Assuming all their other tech's are just as well trained and good - I highly recommend Freedom.

Went well. Annual service completed and we will have them back in the fall to service our furnace. Interaction with entire group was positive.

I have used this company three times now in the past six months: furnace tune-up, install chimney liner, air conditioner tune up and set up pump to carry water to drain. With the pump installation the hosing was run along the ceiling joists and attached along side existing pipes in such a way, it was hardly noticeable. Each time I was so impressed with the men who came. They came within the expected window, calling ahead and left everything cleaned up. But what most impressed me was the patience they had explaining everything to me, even answering questions about other problems I was trying to solve and offering new information to help me along. They worked steadily, never tried to push a product or solution, but did offer possible explanations and solutions to explore. I was also impressed with their knowledge of their work as well as other home problem situations. Very professional. They are definitely my new " go to" guys for anything heating and air related.

It went very well. the tech arrived on schedule and performed the inspection in a routine manner. I will proabably use them in the future.
