It went very well. Willie did a thorough inspection and was very informative and courteous. I would highly recommend using Freedom Heating.

He then began complaining about using the ladder to access the furnace. There is a wood frame around the entrance to the furnace that needed to be removed. He was having a difficult time as the area had recently been painted. He was complaining about having to do it and basically was rude, giving the impression that he didn't want to be there. He was then asked to leave as he was being difficult and clearly did not want to perform the work. I emailed the company requesting a refund and explaining what happened. I received a very derogatory email response. "With respect to today’s visit, there are things that do not seem to align with what was expressed to us. For one, it was a friend of yours whom met our technician Will to make the attempt to clean & check your system and once he was there he noticed that a latter was needed in order to access the unit, which is not at any time surprising, our technicians are equipped with a ladder for those types of situations that can arise. What our technician Will had expressed is that there was a ladder charge in order for him to pull the ladder for use, just as it is stated on the deal in which you had purchased. Our ladder charge is at a rate of $89.00, yet as a gesture of good will he had discounted it and offered it to you at $50.00 in order to win your business for the future. As for the paneling that prevented us to do the service. Being that there was paint that attached this paneling to the wall, it made it difficult to remove without ruining the wall itself, which would leave us liable for its repairs. In those cases, we refuse to remove the paneling unless there is a waver signed by the actual owner of the property releasing us from being liable for repairs in case of damages that are sure to occur. Will has been a technician here for over 8 years, and has been the number one tech for customer relations until now, and in the 10 years that he’s been with us this would be the first complaint ever seen of his “rudeness” towards any of our customers to date. Every time there is any complaint about him that has reached us, it is usually the same kind of complaint as such, where there was charges needed to be charged and the owner refuses to pay them so they become upset with just that. We will always take accountability for our mistakes and actions that may not be reasonable, yet we will not reprimand our Workers for accusations made by the person whom was not there, and the evidence that your friend whom was there, happily signed the work order in agreement before being “asked to leave”. You will be able to request your refund through the Angie’s list customer service section of the website, or their support phone # which is listed on their website as well, in that process you will receive no push back from us so your refund will be processed without hesitation, but you yourself must contact Angie’s list in order to do so. Any negative feedback left by you on our ratings will result in a rebuttal to be able to explain our side as to what happened in this situation. We do understand as to why you would not use us again, which works out for us due to the fact that normally we do not service your area, which we tried to do for you to possibly accommodate you for the special price that we had ran for the time. We do wish you and the company you chose the best of luck in your future endeavors. " My friend, who is my partner, was there and I believe the events as he relayed them. I told the rep when he called that morning with a time that my partner would be meeting him there. I hope that did not influence the events that transpired. While I understand that a company wants to defend their employees, I think that the response that I received was rude and unnecessary.

I was told some parts on furnace were worn & may need to be replaced soon. Furnace has been working well but did notice filter was not replaced and it was a little dirty. Also needed humidifier filter replaced which cost additional and more than the deal i had for furnace tune up. i have extras but feel that should have been included which is why i gave overall B.

Went very well. Tech was punctual, communicated well, and was extremely nice. Would happily hire again.

Woke to a cold house yesterday. Called at 7 AM. They were there at 8:15 AMMY 17 year old Carrier needed a new inducer motor, so I opted for a new furnace. Carrier Infinity 98. Their price was 500 to 1000 dollars less than 3 other have companies in area. They were back here with the new furnace by 1:30 PM. Excellent install. They were neat, clean, friendly, and careful. They made sure everything was working perfectly, and all our questions answered. Would hire again, and recommend without reservation. By the way, this furnace is so quiet that when it is running you can still hear the water running into the aprilaire humidifier.

Went well, made every effort to make same-day repair (hard-to-get part) even though furnace was working, very efficient.

It went well. The tech called about 20 minutes before his estimated arrival, so he was definitely on time. The tech noticed that there was a dust build-up on the blower's fins, so we cleaned that as well. (I offered to clean the fins with a brush while he worked on the rest of the furnace. By no means did he push the task off onto me.) The tech mentioned that our electronic air cleaner doesn't catch as much dust as a pleated filter, so he advised us to swap out the electronic elements with a pleated filter. He even measured the opening, to make sure I got the right size. From start to finish, I was very happy with the service. I've used Freedom before, for annual cleanings and for when the blower motor died. I'll gladly hire them again.

Their communication at the office was great. Scheduled time/day was met. Work performed by a friendly, knowledgable tech. 3 for 3. Well done!!!

Everything went well. My furnace is working perfectly! They were very professional and told me exactly what needed to be done. They are great workers! other companies I have used in the past were always trying to upsell me on services I didn't need. This company told me my furnace could last a couple more years and they didn't try to sell me on services I didn't need.

Guillermo did a most comprehensive job and I would want him back for any service that I might require in the future.

I did not receive any service from Freedom because the company emailed me that they would not be in my area although Angie's email listed them as being in the area. I had to take the time to contact Angie's to receive my refund and they were very understanding and helpful and I received my refund immediately.

Got refund for the promo, never had work done, after purchasing the promo the company said that they do not service my area

We bought the furnace tune-up through Angie's List for $29. Freedom was punctual and professional, and the guy they sent even wore booties when walking through my house. Much appreciated! During the tune up, the worker recommended replacing a part which added $85 to the total. I don't know enough about furnaces to really know if a particular part is to the end of its life and so I just had to trust. When he was here, I decided to have him also do a tune-up on the water heater. That added $69 to the total. He seemed to do a thorough job and the company was easy to work with. I will use them again.
