Description of Work: They checked the AC and put in a new fuse box. They also checked inside the house for the furnace.

Description of Work: Bought "Big Deal" for HVAC service. When I called I made sure they knew that AC was located on the roof of a 3 story building and that a ladder greater than 32 ft would be required; was told this would not be a problem. Service tech showed up with a 32 ft ladder and said would be unable to perform work. Made a call to supervision to see if another tech could join him with a longer ladder and was told that the company would be unable to do the work.

Description of Work: Service was performed at scheduled time and done so in an excellent by Guillermo who was very polite and efficient.

Description of Work: Freedom did a furnace/HVAC tune-up for us. The furnace tune-up was fine, but they found an issue with the AC, which they had to come back for about a week later. Upon trying to fix that issue, they found another which they said would cost about the same amount fix as an entirely new system. The system was 9 years old so we opted to replace, but through Costco for overall price and package. The technicians were great and worked hard to fix the problems - one even stayed past 8pm one evening. Punctuality was only an issue due to storms and the busy-ness of summer. They were tough to schedule because of this, too - the three visits took over a month.

Description of Work: Fixed the air conditioning unit after a different company told me I needed to replace the unit because it was unrepairable.

Description of Work: They performed the services listed in the Angie's List Big Deal in a professional and courteous manner. There was one issue only and I opted to fix it rather than get caught. By 10:30 that evening the unit stopped working. It had been working just fine all summer. They sent out another technician first thing in the morning who told me the motor was blown and it would cost me approx. $800 to replace - no guarantees it would work. Gave me cost of a brand new unit, several thousand dollars. I had another company out and they said that a some connection of wire had been pinched and, after correcting that, everything was functioning optimally.

Description of Work: Technician was really nice and explained to me what he was doing. He didn't pressure me into replacing anything in my AC as he looked at everything, just explained what each one did and pros and cons of replacing certain original parts.

Description of Work: Serviced two A/C compressors and was very helpful and informative. I was impressed.
