Description of Work: A young man came to provide the service to me. He was punctuality, professional and didn't mind answering any questions concerning the service. I watch him do an excellent job, taking the system apart and cleaning it with a brush explaining what the part was. A knowledgeable young man. And wouldn't mind having him come again.

Description of Work: He did not spend more than a few minutes here. I expected a more thorough cleaning. When my husband services the furnace he spends about an hour going over parts.He will continue doing it himself.

Thanks so much for your review! The time spent on the system is an indication of how well the system is working, it is hard to measure time with the quality of work if one may not understand this. Generally the better the shape of the system, the less time needed to heck them. It would seem reasonable that if a person whom may not be licensed as a technician to spend more time due to minimal experience in this type of field. In the many years of experience we've seen people complain of the fact that there was "very little tools used" at jobs. There are those who will bring out extra equipment and spend just a tad more time to give the appearance of what some may think more of a quality experience. We here would rather not waist anyone's time in that respect, if the unit is in great working order and all tests come out clear, and the cleaning is minimal, we would rather you not have to wait any extra time for us to just hang out to give a perception of something else. In your case if your husband can do this type of check, we would encourage him to continue to do so, it may save you some money, even if it costs you some time. We thank you so much for bringing this subject up, with every experience we learn something new, and from this we have learned so much. Happy Holidays and best wishes to you.

Description of Work: Checked the AC system, told me what was wrong, and what needed to be done to fix it. Since it was the end of the season I decided to not have the repairs done. I will definitely have them back in the spring to do the repairs and get the system working optimally.

Description of Work: Inspected furnace as part of annual maintenance service, including checking sequence of operation, inspecting the blower, filter and all system components. The technician found a problem with the flame sensor that was causing the furnace to short cycle--the furnace turns on for a short period of time then turns off as a safety measure. (The flame sensor was oxidized). He replaced the part and tightened/secured all wiring connections and we have had no short cycling since then. The technician also provided some useful information about furnace filters related to our heating system. We would definitely use them again.
