Description of Work: My AC went out. A piece needed to be replaced. The first one blew out in a couple of days. They came back to install a new one. They have suggested I might need a new AC. Not looking forward to that.

Description of Work: I have been calling on Freedom Heating & AC since May 2015 when I purchased an Angie's List deal to check my 3 AC units in my 3-flat. I was happy with the AC service tech team who came that day in the pouring rain but fortunately the 3 AC units are under the elevated deck. | |The AC check Angie's List deal was unlimited when I purchased May 2015 and got all 3 for the same price each at $39. Leaks were found in 2 of the 3 AC lines which were the reasons the Freon levels were non-existent during the check. Service tech explained an option to run a "leak seal" through the line and explained there is no guarantee it will fix the issue, but that he has had a very high percentage of good results. Knock on wood, no issues, but I'll know for sure when Freedom comes to service the 3 AC units before Summer 2016. | |The cost of the Summer 2015 visit was a lot more than I had anticipated when I purchase 3 @ $39 (invoice was closer to $900 with leak seal and Freon), but thankfully no issues. | |I was able to take advantage of the $39 Angie's List furnace check deals, but needed to pay $69 for each of the other two because the Angie's List deal was limited to one. | |I have been happy with the furnace tech who has visited me in Nov 2015 to service all 3 furnaces and then again to replace the igniter on one furnace Jan 2016 which burnt out. Furnace tech referred to his notes from the Nov visit and at that time there was no indication the igniter was near the end. It just happens. | |Everyone at Freedom is always professional, prompt and helpful in providing explanations. I've decided to replace the former HVAC vendor with Freedom. |

Description of Work: Checked and cleaned furnace, and replaced two parts, they showed me the old parts and those definitely looked like they needed replacing.

Description of Work: Freedom team came out to look at our broken furnace. He first recommended fixing it, which would cost around $1,000-ish. However, once I told him the other issues it was having prior to it breaking, he recommended a replacement because he realized that we would need more repairs, which would be closer to $2,000 and a new furnace $3,500. They were prompt, friendly and worked very hard to install our furnace quickly. I will definitely hire them again. PS - we LOVE the new furnace and believe that the old one probably cost us a ton in electricity as it was always trying to heat with limited success.
