They showed up on time, I gave them a quick tour of the house and the ductwork. They noted that I had a pretty unusual filter on my system and they didn't have it on their truck. They were nice enough to go out and not only buy a new filter, but a couple extras as well (obviously I reimbursed them for that). And also set it up so it would be easier to change the filter on my own. I didn't even stay home while they worked, I had to leave. But I came back, everything was done. No mess. And they left me a note with what they had accomplished and things to think about going into the winter. Very responsive. Had their act together.

The lady at the office when I called to schedule was very professional and very nice. The service tech was also very nice. I purchased an Angie's List dryer vent cleaning for $69. My appointment was for between 8-10a.m. Tech showed up about 10:20a.m. He pulled my dryer out to discover that the exhaust from the dryer was no longer connected to the dryer vent going outside. He recommended, and I agreed, that a dryer vent hose needed to be added to complete the connection, he told me it would be an additional charge. Well, I'm kind of over a barrel now, aren't I? He worked for about an hour cleaning the vent. As he just did this this morning, I have no reason to suspect he did not do a fine and thorough job cleaning it. Then he connected a new dryer vent hose to the existing hose which he told me upfront would be an additional charge. It probably took him 10 minutes to hook up the vent and use 2 pieces of duct tape to secure it at each end.As I mentioned earlier, he arrived about 10:20am and I was paying him at 11:30a.m. Now comes the bill. $35 for the dryer vent hose -- the whole kit is under $20 at Home Depot, OK, he has to make a profit on his parts. Then he charged me an additional $55 for labor to install the hose. $55? For 10 minutes to install the hose after I've already paid almost double the actual cost of the part? I paid in CASH the additional $90 over the initial cost of the dryer vent cleaning "SPECIAL" of $69. Then he tried to sell me a maintenance contract. I just got ripped off $55 for a 10 minute add on job that he was aleady on my home for and he wants me to buy a maintenance contract? Seriously? I said no. Then he wanted me to fill out the Angie's List survey right there with him. No, I don't think so. I was too flabberghasted with the additional cost. Maybe I'm living in a vacuum, but with the competition for customers for every business out there so tough, I cannot believe Freedom's prices. Call them and ask for a quote before you sign up for any of their "specials," I guarantee, their "SPECIALS" are NOT special. I will not use them again for dryer vent cleaning, for AC or heat or anything else.

It worked out really fine. There was one little thing, they checked the attic. I asked them to check the fan and they charged me $69. I understood the charge but I don't feel they completely diagnosed the problem. I think that they should have told me more. They said that the motor was shot, but how do they know that was the problem, just because they hit the power button.

Sam worked at all pasts of system for troubles, tested Freon and cleaned. Sam called my cell to tell me exactly when we arrived. He was very courteous and answered every question thoroughly. I was very pleased with the check up and service call.

Sam has come out twice for A/c repair and now for a/c maintenance. He gets right to work and is very helpful.

It was great. Everyone was helpful and informative and the work was done well and quickly. If we had called Freedom first, we probably would have saved a lot on a new AC we didn't need!

Freedom was great! We started with Deljo who it took two weeks to get an appointment in the middle of summer. They quoted us $3150! which was the cheapest we could find and we have scheduled them to come perform the work after many of our attempts to fix the leaks did not provide results. On July 4, a holiday, we saw that freedom was running a deal. After a quick phone call they promised to come out that same day and did the gave us an estimate and it held true to the same price, $2,500. Then they said they would be able to come out the next day! That's right, got the appointment in a day and save $600. Thanks to Angie's list for providing reliable service people at reasonable prices. This repair couldn't have come at a worst time for us so we were incredibly grateful to save $600 and we now have a fully working AC system and boy is it working hard in this hundred degree heat right now. The workers were punctual and kind. They explained all of the work they perform and did it quickly. What more could For?!

They were able to come out quickly, and within the time time that they estimated. They had to stay longer than scheduled, but that is because one of my AC units were problematic. They were able to find the problem, and resolve it the replacement of a new thermostat. Upon going over the actual unit, they found found some major problems, but was able to get me up and running, with a disclaimer that it will not function at 100% because your compressor is in need of repair/replacement. I choose to run the unit down to the ground and then replace the whole thing at a later time. They were very helpful and answered all my questions. I gave them a C for price because I thought that for a new thermostat (basic digital) and install, the cost was a bit steep. There was also a capacitor that was installed, that seemed a bit high, but I have no reference, so this is just a gut feeling.

On time, very professional, quick service, great job.

Technician has very informative about the AC unit- walked me thru how I should be better tending to the AC units upkeep. Checked my furnance filter.

Sam was terrific and explained everything so a lay person could understand and was conscious of costs. Recommended what needed to be done immediately and what could be defected.

Technician was very friendly and called ahead of time (multiple times, actually) - to let me know where he was, and approximately when he would be arriving. He checked our furnace filter, and gave some advice regarding that. He also performed an A/C tune-up. He answered all of my questions and was very curteous.

Sam was on time. Went over complete system and explained everything in a very under stand able way a very good experience.
