When I called them up that I had a problem, they seemed concerned. They were pretty attentive to listen to everything I said, and they were certainly helpful. I will definitely use them again.

I had a great experience working with Pete at Freedom Heating. I recieved a call soon after I purchased the BIG DEAL for the Air Conditioner. We scheduled time for Pete to come out and see what all needed to be done. He was a pleasure to work with. He was punctual and a kept me apprised on the progress and process for the Install. I decided to also purchase a new Furnace to have it completed simultaneously. I believe the price to be very competitive and fair. The installers were very pleasant and competent. They were respectful of my house and my time. I would highly recommend Freedom Heating - and Pete!

Very prompt and flexible appointment setup. Punctual. Explained the work they were doing. House now feels a lot warmer thanks to higher humidity. Good people.

I purchased a coupon for a whole house humidifier. Within a few days, they called me to schedule an appointment and were able to come out the next week. Technicians arrived on time, were polite and efficient. The tech explained before he did it that he would have to install some new duct work for an extra $45 to get it up and running. He also offered to service the furnace while they were here, which I accepted. When the work was complete (under 90 minutes), he patiently answered my questions and walked me through maintenance, including posting some written notes on the equipment to help us remember. The humidifier seems to be working fine so far!

I liked the service. He did a good job, but I was busy and he loves to chat.

Company called me shortly after I purchased the coupon. They were able to make an appointment at a time convenient for me. The installer arrived on time, installed the unit quickly, explained the features of the unit clearly. Everything was done professionally. I was pleased with the entire process.

They arrived at my condo and said that the way my condo was set up they would not be able to install the humidifier and encouarged me to seek out a refund from Angie's List. They were very courteous, on time, and professional.

The coupon said "$289, including installation". We didn't have a humidifier in there before, so after looking at it, the technician told us we were going to be charged for installing a water line from the water heater to the furnace, that are next to each other. I had assumed that "ïncluding installation" was whatever they needed to install that humidifier, otherwise it should have said 'replacement' (I believe this was Angie's list fault, because it could have been clearer). Everything went fine, and we were charged $69.00 more for the water line. That was ok, and we assumed the offer was not clear. It should have been.. The technician then offered to do a full check-up, for another $69.00. We happily agreed. He did it, and told us the ignition pilot was old, and he recommended changing it, to avoid being charged again for another visit that could have happened soon (or not). He told us the part was $225.00 but then lowered it to $195.00. The technician did a nice professional job, but after he left, we checked the prices of the part that was replaced, and found it online for strange prices - from $32.00 till $155.00. Same brand, same number, same piece. Of course, if we waited till it broke, we would have been charged for the part plus the visit (or we would have bought the part ouselves, and just call for installing it), which would have raised the price. But the reason for having it installed yesterday was to save the price of a new visit and installation. As it was, we didn't save any money. We kept the old piece, and it doesn't look that it's about to break, but we really don't know much about that. It's very hard to know. Still, the job was done, and the guy was good, knowledgeable, and quick. I'm not sure I would call him again, but one never knows ..

Freedom Heating & Cooling was very professional and came when they said they would. They identified a possible problem with heating core and a hairline crack, both of which may be problems in a couple years.

I called and they actually came out the same day to get my air conditioner up and running. I had called a couple other companies but they were not able to make it quickly and I was having a family reunion so the house was full of people and we needed the air to be working in the heat we were having. Freedom called me back within 15 minutes to tell me they would be out, they really saved the day! Everything is still in good order. The service man was very friendly.

Woke up with the heat not working on the shortest day of the year after a snow fall and when I had company staying with me and my furnace wasn't working at all. I called before their office hours and they answered and said they could come out in the next hour or so. They arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem quickly and explained it thoroughly and even had the parts in the car to fix it and it was done within an hour or two. I'll definitely keep working with them in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

Freedom Technician Sam arrived promptly at appointed time. He thoroughly inspected and cleaned the furnace with excellent attention to detail. Furnace in very good condition and no additional work/parts required. Total time about 30 minutes. Very satisfied with the work performed. I will be contacting Freedom in the Spring to schedule second inspection for air conditioning system. The only odd event was Sam asked me to complete an Angie's List evaluation form which he provided. The completed evaluation form was retained by Sam. This was the first and only time I have ever been provided an Angie's List evaluation form by a vendor. All other evaluations have been completed and sent directly to Angie's List.
