Freedom Heating & Cooling

Two weeks before I had the maintenance scheduled my heat kept turning off. I contacted Freedom Heating and Cooling to see if they could move up my appointment and the were able to accommodate me. The technician arrived and when he was doing the maintenance he told me that the blower motor was cracked. I ask for an estimate and he provided a written estimate. I decided to get several other estimates. After doing research and getting 3 additional estimates, I decided to go with a different company.

Everything went well. Arrived on time, polite, friendly service.

Not well. Hopefully the air conditioner will work properly in the summer.

On time - courteous - did job well - we are satisfied.

Our heater went out last night & when I called the next morning They arrived within an hour. He took the time to educate me on the process the problem & its solution. (Danny)

From the beginning in working with Pete and his team, they were very accommodating and worked well to meet my installation needs. Their bid was competitive and very fair given that we needed two new heating and air condition systems. Rick and the rest of the installation team paid close attention to the quality of the installation and exceeded my expectations. Freedom's performance was also very responsive when we need them come back out to the house to follow-up on installation adjustment that needed to be made. The new heating systems are working very well and I look forward to the summer when we can take advantage of our new energy saving air condition units. Overall, I would highly recommend using Freedom for your heating and cooling needs.

Service man arrived on scheduled time, very polite. I watched him work on my boiler and he explained what he was doing. Did not rush. Boiler was very dirty and he cleaned all the mess up. I was very impressed. I bought a 2 yr service agreement.

Rick was on time, performed task as agreed.

Excellent! Showed up on time, finished in a timely manner, taught me how to replace the filter and recommended cleaning.

Called to have them come out for an RFQ for a new furnace because of the Angie's List coupon for a furnace & installation. As I was giving Rita my address, when she asked of the town, she put me on hold then informed me that "I'm outside of their servicing area." I informed Rita that Freedom should list their servicing area under their company's information. Thank goodness my husband and I didn't purchase the coupon for an installed new furnace; would Freedom have serviced us? Not upset but disappointed.

Service tech arrived promptly set up tools etc to install de mon started use service plan clean up well.

Arturo called to tell me he was coming to my condo. Installed humidifier, installed longer wires (first rep wired).

This was a routine maintenance on a very old boiler in our 3-flat building. We were having a problem getting someone out to do the maintenance this year. Not really sure why, but this company was responsive, on time and professional. The boiler is running just fine.

I was very impressed at the service I received from the company. After I purchased the deal through Anjie's List I received a call from Freedom Heating and Cooling asking if I wanted to schedule the appt. That was great since it was one less thing I needed to worry about. The day of the appt I received a courtesy call from Danny giving me an approximate time of his arrival. When he arrived he explained, in detail, what he was going to do and why it was needed to be done. He was very professional and patient. He answered every question I had and showed me everything he was doing. He showed me the build-up in the our water heater and showed me the thermocoupler that needed to be replaced. And I can't say it enough but everything was detailed... detailed... detailed... including the invoices. He cleaned up everything after he finished his work. As I stated before, I was so impressed that I signed up for their maintenance plan for the next two years.

Another $50 was added to the price because of the additional supplies needed to complete the job. I was not prepared for that but at least I had the money at the time. The guys were curteous and professional. The job was completed in little time and I am glad I found this deal. Well worth every cent!

The humidifier installation went very well. Scheduling was far more flexible than I expected, they called when they were about 20 minutes away and arrived well within the time period they promised. The installation was relatively quick and they took the time to explain how everything works and preventative maintenance we could do. They were very friendly and professional. We also have had an issue that a couple of rooms on our second floor get insuficent airflow. They suggested setting the furnace blower to a higher speed, it was set to the lowest of three settings, and tried to balance airflow to the house by adjusting the baffles. It didn't end up fixing our problem, but they talked through possible causes and gave some additional ideas we could attempt, short of replacing our 27 year old furnace.
