Willy arrived on time and started his check on my HVAC system. I had been recently having an issue with the heating system tripping off-line early (situation in which the burners only stayed on for about 10 seconds and then would extinguish themselves). Willy found the problem within about 2 minutes and showed me a faulty connection on some of the wiring. He then conducted a check and cleaning of the rest of the system. Willy was extremely patient in explaining everything to a layman like myself in a manner in which I could comprehend. He also took the time to explain how a new Nest thermostat (that I recently purchased) was supposed to work. Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Great experience. I plan on contacting Freedom Heating & Cooling for all of my HVAC issues.

I requested a quote on a new furnace and humidifier. I scheduled an appointment for a specific time, not a window. The estimator was nearly two hours late. He did not present any options on the type of furnace, as the contractor that I went with did. The price he offered was not terrible, but clearly wasn't the best. He wouldn't provide me with a written proposal, which the other contactors did. When I wouldn't give him a yes or no answer on the spot -- I was waiting for an estimate from someone else -- he offered me a free air purifier but only if I signed a contract immediately. I detest such high-pressure sales tactics. None of the other contractors that quoted me did this.

I purchased the $99 deal for one year of HVAC tune up (one furnace, one A/C). They came out to do the furnace check up and determined the heat exchanger was cracked and unsafe. They capped the gas line and provided an estimate on replacing the unit. We didnt end up going with them, but only because we have a family friend that was able to get us a very deep discount. They were very professional, answered all of our questions, followed up and were very courteous. I intend to use them again for a duct cleaning and highly recommend them. They were great to deal with.
