Estimate was lowest of 2 bids. Steve was very professional and helpful as well as responsive. Called afternoon before starting job. 3 men performed job in about 3 hrs. Did a great job and cleaned up yard well. All workers very professional and courteous. Would highly recommend.

They were very good. They cut part of the tree, and gave me time to decide whether I wanted to remove the entire tree or not. They came back 3 hrs later to remove the entire tree. They were very neat and customer friendly, and they got the job done quickly.

I could not have been more pleased with the work. Steve provided a detailed estimate, which included breaking out the cost to remove a second tree which I ultimately decided to keep. He followed up by phone a couple of times over the next 2 weeks to see if I had any questions about the estimate or the work. (I did have questions, and he was the only service provider I contacted for an estimate who followed up with me after providing the estimate.) After I decided to keep the second tree, I asked Steve about removing a dead branch from the tree. He agreed to remove the branch at no additional charge. When it came time to do the work, the crew was able to come sooner than expected due to a last-minute opening in their schedule. Because the work date was moved up, the fence company hadn't had a chance to remove the old fence, but the Dawson's crew took down a section so they could have access to the yard to do their work. They cut down the tree and removed the arborvitae and forsythia in a couple of hours one afternoon and returned the next morning to remove the tree trunk and grind the stumps. Due to the proximity of the tree to the neighbor's fence, John explained that they wouldn't be able to remove the entire stump but would cut it as close to the fence as possible. They did a great job--the remaining portion of the stump is relatively small and won't interfere with the installation of my new fence.

The work took at least 3 hours to complete & was a big job. They used a bucket truck which they manipulated with great skill & avoided any injury to property or personnel. We received proposals from other tree services as high as $1900 & they (Dawson's Tree Service) were by far the best priced. We would use them again.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! They provided great service and great price! I would use them again without a doubt. Steve and John were very professional, explained what they were going to do, and wanted to make sure I was satisfied.

The time setting was in accord with our schedule. Steve the estimator gave a call as to the time and date. Additionally, Steve was out on the morning of the removal to mark the necessary tree and shrubs. The crew was out within two hours of his visit. The tree and shrubs were removed with great care as to not damage adjacent property, stumps were ground to below grade level, area was raked, sidewalks cleaned and all looked as good as new.

They delivered an estimate within 3 hours of my initial phone call. They were the only company to give the estimate exactly as requested (one price for the fallen limb, another for removal of the remaining tree). I only had the fallen limb removed. They came out to do the work the day after proposal was accepted. It took 3 of them about 1 1/2 hours to remove the limb, as they had to carry it out of my backyard to the curb. They left the area nearly spotless when done. I would definitely use them again.

I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM AGAIN. THEY WERE WILLING TO TAILOR THEIR SERVICES TO WHAT I NEEDED. A GOOD COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH.
