Description of Work: Furnace room waterproofing and sump pump. Took way to long (6 weeks)to get someone out to evaluate and then it was going to be another 6 weeks to get someone out to do the work until I threw a fit. Got someone out in 3 weeks to complete the work. Guys who did the work were great! I am happy with the results.

Description of Work: On this visit, Woods repaired a break in our basement wall that leaded water during a recent storm. We began with Woods many years ago and their work in our basement was generally ok . But within the last five years, we have had serious water problems along one side of our property and they talked us into a $3.5k French drain setup with a pump that never worked. We had to have it redone last year. We tore out Woods work and had our yard regraded and a new French drain put in. Cost $8k. The new system has handled this spring's heavy rains. Our only issue has been the small break on a different side of the house which Woods just repaired.

Description of Work: Estimator showed me what they would do , how much, and how long. Crew came in and did exactly was planned no prolems. Was a great crew , cleaned up everything. only caveat was they were to send someone out 1 mos later to tighten bolts but I had to call them to get them out. However they came and was no problems there either.

Description of Work: Anchored 3 bowing basement walls with C-channels and outside yard (10ft from house) anchors. Water abatement: Dug out cement around base of basement walls, put in specific water-channelling and 3-phase sump pump with battery backup...Recemented the area. Provided instructions on the equipment and annual maintenance programs in layman's terms. Very pleasant, friendly and professional, cleaned up beautifully after themselves. There's a lifetime guarantee with the work as long as annual maintenance of the equipment is performed and if I should ever sell the house, the warranty for the basement work goes to the new owner (a good selling point). Woods came with a good reference, so time will tell as far as whether this work does the trick!

Description of Work: I received a bid by Woods to do a crawl space encapsulation. They were on time, professional, and honest. The bid was way too high for what I wanted to accomplish with my crawl space. This was no fault on their part, I just didn't find it necessary considering the only moisture issue with my crawl space was sweating from the AC ductwork and I had some pipe freezing problems. Insulating the ductwork and water pipes solved my problem for $100 compared to $10,000 for encapsulation. In the long run, encapsulation would have been the better way to go but, in my lifetime, I never would have seen the cost savings from the energy efficiency of encapsulating my crawl space.

Description of Work: Installed basement waterproofing system(French channel, wall covering, triple sump pump system, and commercial grade dehumidifier. |Had to come back and fix a few things that were not done properly in the first place.

Description of Work: They installed a interior water control system, outside water drainage system and a heavy duty dehumidifier. Everything went well.

Description of Work: I hired Woods to instal 3 sistering beams and 6 crawl space jacks to level the floors of my 800 sqr foot house for about $14,000. Just a few weeks later, a water main break in my neighborhood turned my dry crawl space into mud. The guarantee meant that Woods would come back to correct the sinking jacks but since the ground was now mud, this was pointless. I had already begun extensive remodeling of the whole house (new dry wall and hardwood flooring throughout)after the initial correction of the floors. I couldn't stop the work to wait for the city and the water company to repair the main and the mud to harden again, so I paid an additional $4000 to have my crawl space lined with plastic and a moat installed around the edge, draining water into a sump pump pit for removal by pumping. Woods subcontracted the work to a very pleasant and competent crew of Latinos. There was a misunderstanding about the description of the work I had contracted to be done which required more work than the crew had agreed with Woods to do for the price. After much discussion with me, and much discussion between the crew and Woods, they ultimately did the work as I wanted, and did it quite well, but I felt badly that the work crew lost profit on the job because of the Woods representative. I could now drink champagne and eat strawberries in my fancy white crawl space, but I can no longer afford such treats because of pouring $18,000 into my crawl space!

Description of Work: Completely water-proofed my basement. Cracks sealed, interior perimeter drain installed along with a triple safe sump pump. Work is warrantied for the life of the home and could be passed on to the new owners!

Description of Work: They placed anchors in three basement walls, one wall auger type, two wall the anchor type. Salesman and installers were friendly, courteous, and very professional. I have no reason to think the anchors will not perform as they have promised. Price is high but was below another estimate.

Description of Work: Woods installed an interior perimeter drain 3 pump sump and dehumidifier. The work and cleanup was done with no issues. The cost was more than we had originally wanted to spend but we have not had water on the basement floor since. We would recommend them.

Description of Work: Every year a maintenance check is done on the sump pump which I had installed by Woods nine years ago. The pump has been a life saver for me and has worked without a problem. The serviceman explains everything he does in detail.

Description of Work: Basement waterproofing, foundation repair, and egress window installation.

Description of Work: Installed new floor jacks and encapsulated crawl space which included SmartSump pump system, CleanSpace liner, vent covers, and drainage matting under liner. |Floor jacks worked real well cracks in wall were closed, doors that were not closing now close, gaps between floor and wall closed, team did an outstanding job. Crawl space looks good but to soon to know how it is working.
