W & B SERVICE

Our GE side-by-side refrigerator was not cooling properly (I went to get ice from the trays on the top shelf, and the trays were filled with water). The bottom shelves in both the freezer and the fridge were cold, but the top shelves were quite warm. I called W&B around noon, and they agreed to come out the next morning (I think they would have offered to come out the same day, but I had work commitments). The service person gave me a three-hour window (9:00-12:00); he arrived around 10:30. He was very knowledgeable--he was pretty sure he knew what the problem was as soon as I told him what was going on. He replaced three parts and was done in an hour. I was very pleased with my experience.

I would recommend them to others. They were excellent. They were honest, when they found the problem with the refridgerator they said it wouldn't be worth the cost of repairing it because I would have to replace it. They were very honest. I've used them several times.

I called them on an evening and they were able to send someone over the following morning before we left for work at 6 AM. They were good.

Went great, I called at 8 AM and by noon the stove was fixed. The repair man showed me what he was doing and showed me the pieces that were faulty and repaired them as he had the parts needed in his truck.

Several service agencies were contacted. W&B had the best price for the service call and additional charges for the extra appliances. The technician called right away and asked me to describe the problems with the appliances. He also asked for a couple of the model and serial numbers. After I called him back with the model and serial numbers, he arranged to come over the next day. He diagnosed 3 out of the 4 problems over the phone. He came with the parts he needed to perform the repairs. He was very efficient and worked very quickly to firmly diagnose and repair the appliances. He recommended not repairing either fridge because of the age and costs. He immediately determined the circuit breaker was off for the dishwasher. He charged me only $49 for the service call and $10 ea. for the extra appliances. He charged me for parts and repair of the dryer and the charge came in below his estimate. We were very impressed and are glad to add him to our list of reputable and reliable service contractors.

Job 1: I called a number of companies on Angie's List to find someone to help. I left many messages without any follow through by the other companies. W & B had a real person answer the phone, and she was very nice. She promised me Rich would follow up within the hour. He called within 5 minutes. I explained my trouble and he agreed to come see me right away as he had just finished a job in my area. Rich arrived quickly, was very polite, walked me through everything he was doing and was very respectful of my house and time. He fixed the machine quickly and it is running great! Job 2: They answered the phone and the contractor got in touch with me promptly. He even offered to come over on a Saturday! We set an appointment for which he was prompt. He fixed the problem and explained what had happened and also provided me with tips for prolonging the life of the appliance.

My dryer was only blowing cold air. The technician arrived on time and diagnosed the problem as two defective thermostats, and had the needed parts with him. He installed them and made sure they were working, and provided a three month warranty. Ten months later the dryer is still working well.
