JIM STOLLER, President of Chicago-based The Building Group, Inc., has been actively involved in the management, design, construction, development and leasing of real estate for over 25 years. He is an architect, a graduate of the University of Illinois, has a Masters of Management (MBA) from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and is a licensed real estate broker. "Unfortunately this is not an accurate account. We like the prior management company resigned from managing this association due to the owners’ lack of authorizing the necessary maintenance work on the property. Addressing the member's comments: 1. The delay in the real estate taxes was due to owners not submitting their exemption forms. 2. The Board of Directors selected an independent roof consultant that recommended the parapet work in conjunction with the roof replacement. The Board voted against doing the parapet work. The roof consultant presented multiple bids from reputable firms and the Board selected the final contractor. 3. A portion of the building parapet fell of the building onto the public sidewalk.
