When I tried to set up my appointment. They never responded. I had to get a refund from Angies List.

It went very well, vendor explained to me what was happening and how our sewer system works.

That was great. They stayed within the price. I didn't have them do the repair. He was prompt.

They were very nice, showed up on time, and did the work. It was inexpensive. The tub unclogging went quickly and well. The faucet replacement did not go as well. I discovered after they left that they did not do whatever caulking or puttying needed beneath the faucet to prevent water from leaking into the sink cabinet below when we spill onto the backsplash under/behind the faucet. Also, less than a year later, the sprayer housing has come loose. To be fair, I should have called them back to fix this problem, and I did not.

He responded to my message quickly and came at the time arranged. He was professional and even showed me how to fix the problem in the future if it ever happened again.

The company refused to honor the voucher as they claimed they were having trouble getting paid by Angie's List. I spoke to a very helpful representative at your company and appreciate the refund. I have used Angie's List for other work and like the service. Thanks, Sean Tomlins

It turned out great. Mr. Cox came in and due to the bad weather here in Chicago, I was very thankful that he showed up when he did with all the freezing and the cold. We had a sewer drain backing up and he came in and lighted it up. He put a scope down and told me what the problem was. He also gave a very reasonable solution which I am going to be using him for in the future to remedy the problem that I am having with our sewer drain. I only paid for the price of the big deal.

I was never contacted by phone or email.

Again, I purchased the deal on 2/14/2014 and I was told via the system that I could only make a week day appointment even though his website stated that he works 7 days a week. I requested the following morning appointments 2/17, 2/18, and 2/19 morning appointments. He came out on 2/17/2014 and I told him that my hot water in my kitchen sink was a very slow trickle and I wanted him to improve the water flow. He look under the sink and said that he did not have the tools to repair the sink and did not give me an answer when I asked him what was the problem. When he left I noticed that he left his flash light and before I could call him, he called me and said someone named Roosevelt would come to pick it up. I told him that I put it in a bag and left it on the front porch because I run a home daycare and it was time to the children to go to nap and he said ok. When I did not hear from him the next day I started calling and I left messages on the Angie's list website. He called back about 2 hours later and appeared surprised that the guys Roosevelt did not come and repair the sink. He told me that good help was hard to find. I told him that I can not respond to that and I just wanted him to honor the deal that I purchased. He agreed to come out on Saturday February 22, 2014 at 9:00am to make the repairs and it has been over two weeks because today is March 2, 2014 and I have not heard from him. I just posted a message on this website about 15 minutes ago asking him to refund my money because I have since had to hire someone this past week to correct the problem.

I believe the deal was false advertisement. They were not going to honor the 2 hour labor portion of the deal.

He was very courtesy & helpful. I would definitely recommend him.

They just didn't show up for the service call. Lied and said they were on their way. Finally got a hold of the owner and he suggested I cancel the appointment. Now that's what I call good customer service.

The plumber was very knowledgeable and explained what was going wrong with the sink. He went to two different plumbing stores to replace the parts that were rusty and corroded. Then he took a look at my garbage disposal to see why it was backing up. He gave me some good advice on how to replace it. My only issue with the interaction was that there is apparently a $60 service call fee that they charge in addition to the $99 deal that I bought. It doesn't say how much the service fee is on their profile or on the deal. But the plumber had stayed longer than the 2 hours I paid for anyway, so I didn't mind paying it. It should just be written more clearly on the advertised deal.

The plumber was quick and friendly. He explained the repair in detail. I would recommend him to anyone needing plumbing work.

Well, I purchased The Big Deal, which was 2 hours of plumbing labor for $99.00. Scheduled a date and made sure I stayed home from work to wait on them, after I called in the afternoon to confirm they said they wanted to come the next day. So I take the next day off work and they say they'll be there at 4:30, even though they were scheduled for 4:00pm. I wait.. wait... wait. So I call the owner at 5:30pm, (Terry Cox) and he tells me it's best that I cancel the order. I would expect something like this from Craigslist. A complete disaster. Highly UNrecommended.

Service was installed properly and professionally, work was performed on time and all inspections were done by the city of Chicago with no problems. We have work with Terry Cox Plumbers for many years and all work has been done properly and professionally. We will continue to use Terry Cox Plumbers for future jobs.

Do to the cold weather I had a broken water pipe right by the water main. I called Terry, he was able to come out right away. He shut off the water from the street and started on the repairs. I had several leaks because of the cold weather and he took care of the whole problem. They are very fast, clean, and professional. I will definitely use him again in the future.

Is was very cold out and the water pipes in my building busted, I called terry he walked me threw shutting off the water main over the phone and was able to send someone out right away. They were very quick in estimating the damage and started repairs right away. They were very fast and professional I would recommend them to anyone.

They showed up on time and got straight to work, they were very organized and clean. The cleanliness was important since it's a basement apartment. They cleaned out the sewer main and unclogged the floor drains that were long over do for a cleaning. They had all the right equipment and were in and out in no time. I would deffenetly use them in the future and recommend them to others with plumbing needs. They are professional, fast and know everything there is to know about plumbing.

I called Terry Cox on a Monday morning to schedule an appointment for an estimate on a complete flood control system in my home. Mr. Cox arrived the same day to look at my property, complete an inspection, and explained to me the details of what needed to be installed on my property. He explained the entire process in detail to prevent any future sewer back up / flooding in my basement. I spoke with a few of my neighbors and discovered Terry Cox had previously installed their flood control systems over 10 years ago, and they haven't had any water in their basements since their systems were installed.

If anyone has ever had a flood control system put in, you know how messy all the work can be. One thing I have to say is that when the plumbers left you could not even tell, as the clean-up was spotless! Everyone of his employees is professional and knows exactly what they are doing. I never feel I am being led on for additional services that I do not need. Terry himself is from Ireland and I am always a sucker for an Irish brogue ;) Over all Terry offers the best service at the best price.
