The owner of this place is a rude a** mf’ they did a horrible job I will never ever recommend them to any one.

Very organized and punctual. The job took two days which was totally acceptable and expected. This company did a beautiful job. The job looked so well done that my neighbors decided to have a wrought iron fence and gate installed on their property as well. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Our six-flat condominium was in need of security fencing to enclose our building from the street as well as the alley. After receiving several quotes we found Popular Iron Works and asked them to come out as well. Company representative was out within 24 hours to take measurements and discuss our needs. Received quote within another 24 hours. Quote was at least 25% below nearest Angie's List competitor. Gave approval and work began within 48 hours, was completed in two days. All of the foregoing well exceeded our expectations. See pictures.

I GOT THEM FROM ANGIE'S LIST AND PHONED. THE GUY THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE DIDN'T SAY THE COMPANY NAME AND SOUNDED LIKE I HAD JUST WOKE HIM. I ASKED IF I HAD AND GOT A LACKLUSTER RESPONSE THAT CONTINUED THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH HIM. I CLARIFIED WHO I WAS CALLING, HE AFFIRMED IT WAS POPULAR IRON WORKS. I TOLD HIM I NEEDED AN ESTIMATE AND HE SAID THAT I'D HAVE TO TALK WITH HIS DAD, SO I'M THINKING, TEENAGER. AFTER HE GAVE ME HIS DAD'S CELL PHONE NUMBER, HE CONTINUED TO BE DISENGAGED AND I SUGGESTED THAT IN THE FUTURE HE MAY WANT TO CONSIDER ANSWERING THE PHONE MORE APPROPRIATELY SO THAT HIS FATHER GETS MORE CUSTOMERS, HE HUNG UP ON ME. I CALLED THE FATHER FOR AN ESTIMATE AND HE WAS RATHER NON-COMMITTAL ON WHEN HE COULD COME OUT. HE TOLD ME SOME TIME THE NEXT DAY, AFTER 10, HE NEVER SHOWED, NEVER CALLED. ALL AROUND, CONSIDERING HOW THEY MANAGE WHAT IS OBVIOUSLY A FAMILY-RUN BUSINESS, I WOULD NEVER HIRE THEM. DANGER SIGNS ON THE FRONT-END ARE NEVER GOOD.
