These guys are great. I needed four armchair cushions reupholstered in short order, but every other place said that it would take weeks if not months to complete. With Jorge's, they were able to complete the job in one day!!! The cushions all look great and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. Al was very responsive, sometimes even responding to email at 8:00 pm.
Don't let the interior of the store scare you away (it is messy and probable not safe for children), the storefront is really just a workroom. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

All I can say is that I would recommend him to others and I don't do that lightly.

Jorge's did an absolutely wonderful job. And they worked speedily too. I took the cushion covers to them one day, and had the stuffed cushions back the same week, I think. Similarly with the chair seat re-covering, there was about a three day turnaround. The work is impeccable--looks like new in both cases. They followed my instructions about how soft I wanted the cushions. They made do with 1 1/2 yards of fabric (solid color) for the four chairs (my estimate of what was needed). They finished the underside of the chairs with something (so you don't see the edges of the fabric) and replaced the cushions under the dining chairs as well. All in record time and top quality work.

They were very quick to answer my initial inquiry, and were quick to get me schedule in. And they finished faster than promised. But I wonder if the speed was why they failed to line up the fabric correctly on the front arms of the chairs -- there is a subtle stripe in the fabric I provided, and it's clearly not parallel along the front, as it should be. It's annoying every time I look at it. If I'd had more fabric, they would have redone that part, but there was no more fabric. The other issue is that part of one seam wasn't sewn very well, and looks like it might fray in time. I'm torn about this company. They were accommodating and friendly. But I'm not completely satisfied with the results.

Nice job; Alex, the owner's son was prompt, prepared and responsive. We purchased the fabric ahead of time, and the chairs turned out beautifully. I asked for advice on repairing or protecting the chairs from the beginning of chipping veneers; they couldn't help with those repairs, but did a good job regluing 2 of the chairs that had loose rungs. The seat foundations were repaired and no longer sag; and the reupholstery is tight and looks great. One chair had a nail stuck inside somewhere and you could feel the point through the cushion, so I returned it to their offices and they repaired it - no charge of course - in just 5-10 minutes.

I palced a call to the company and Jorge answered the phone but was at a store and still toook all my information, he knew the genneral locatioon of my house and said he would be there the next day for an estimate. Sure enought the next day I called to confirm his time and he arrived on time gave me an estimate. Ended up dismantling the chairs and taking the seat cushions and fabric with him. called two days later and the chair seats were ready. He returned, reassembled the chairs and made sure everything was alright. Fabulous experience. Would highly recommend.

I have an extensive history with them because I used to be in the antique business and they did all of my upholstery years ago. I know them very well and I know their work also very well. They do come out to our house if we want, but we used to bring our stuff in. They give an estimate in terms of what the cost of re-upholstery would be and they will pick up our items and then deliver them back to us if we want them to do that. I would say they have extensive experience in this field that they are capable of doing very fine work on complex items. They are professional and pleasant. If we have every day kind of items they will take them and do them. If we want to cover chair seats or something simple like that or if we want them to do complex antique pieces they can do anything. Their pricing is very fair. We can talk to them about what we want and they will do exactly what we want. If we want them to return like if we are working with antiques sometimes there are valuable pieces of upholstery that are on the back of the couch that are new. We can ask them to cut those off, save them and return them to us if we want to do another project in the future. They will do anything we want. Their punctuality is excellent.

They were great. They did a beautiful job. It really looks professional. I bought the sofa from a secondhand store. It just looks spectacular now. I think for the quality of the job that they did, the price was fair. They were very responsive; in fact, I wasn't able to take delivery of the sofa right away and they kept it at the store for me and they didn't even charge me anything extra for that. Their punctuality was very good. They came when they said they were going to come for delivery.

Al did an excellent job, and also made sure to tell us how the cushion would need to change due to the new material. We spent quite a bit on the leather, and they did an excellent job,it looks great. The price was reasonable considering the work. We will go back again.

We had used this company for many upholstery jobs in the past, when we had an antiques business. They always did a great job for a reasonable price. I wondered whether they were still in business, so I was pleased to learn that they were. We called Al Cisneros and he offered to pick up the sofa for us. Since it was already in our van, we just dropped it off and gave him the mohair upholstery fabric that we had bought on line. This type of fabric is difficult to find and very expensive, so we didn't want to trust just anyone with the job. We got the sofa back in a little less than a week and it is just perfect. I was glad to know that they hadn't lost their touch -- and were still a real resource in the Chicago area.
