George was polite. He and the company did what was discussed. End result is wonderful.

I bought a townhouse with carpeting throughout the entire space. At first, I was only planning to install hardwood on the main floors, but since the price estimate was so reasonable, I decided to install floors throughout the entire house. Three flights of stairs and two floors were installed in less than four weeks! The craftsmanship is impeccable. The workers were always on time and very courteous. George is the main contact at the company. He was very helpful in all aspects of this project. He assisted me with the wood choice, stain and finish. I decided on a water based finish and I couldn't be happier. All in all, my experience with Edward and George Flooring was outstanding. I would recommend them to all of my friends. Every person who now walks into my home comments on the floors. A+ in my book.

They were responsive over e-mail and the phone with providing a quote. They also called if they were running late each day to the property. They were easy to reach and to communicate with. The end result is that the finished floors look good. We had a couple of complaints about the process. They estimated the floors would take one week and assured us from the start that the floors would be finished for a Saturday move date. As that move date got closer, we were nervous that the floors would not be finished so we were forced to move our move from Saturday to Monday. It's a good thing we made the decision to delay the move because the floors were not ready for moving in until Sunday. Also, the house was a mess when we moved in. They had sanded the floors, and all of the dust was on every single window sill, mini-blind, countertop, molding, ceiling fan, and door frame. It has taken us hours and hours to clean. Some minor "tarping" would have saved us a lot of time. Also, they removed several doors and did not replace them. They also were very sloppy in taping the baseboards. Many of the baseboards have floor stain on them. The radiators also have stain slopped on them. Bottom line is that the finished floors look good, but they took longer than they said and they left a big mess when they were done.

Edward Flooring did a professional job and great work. They were on time and very polite and helpful. Then they went to work and finished in a timely manner. I was very satisfied with them.
