I was incredibly pleased. First, they dealt with the problems we presented by living in the house during the work, which wasn't easy to accommodate. Next, the workers they used were quiet, professional, prompt, and clean. The craftmanship with which they matched the old wood with the repairs was flawless. Looking at our floors now you cannot tell there was any repair done. It is absolutely beautiful.

Amazing work! Very easy to schedule, very willing to work within my budget. Sent me photos of work along the way showing progress. This could have been a very stressful project, but it was seamless.

Vasile and staff at CV flooring did a great job fixing and refinishing the floors. Vasile took the time to explain the process of each of the repairs. He was able to answer most of my questions and also allowed me to test wood stain samples on my floor so that I can select the right stain. I'm happy with the end product. Only negative feedback is I wish all the paperwork was electronic, including the contract, Certificate of Insurance and License. I needed these documents to send over to the Condo association and I was provided a picture of it via text message. I was able to work with what was provided, however, for me personally a little bit of technology etiquette works best.

We had a great experience with Vasile. He scheduled an appointment to come out for a free estimate right away, during our home inspection. He was on-time to the appointment, and he gave a clear, written and itemized estimate for a range of work that we wanted done, explaining various steps in the process and options and providing/texting pictures from his phone. Since his price seemed very reasonable (our only comparison was through a higher end general contractor, which was about 30% more), we went ahead with him. Scheduling the actual work was very easy as well, and Vasile was able to come in right during the pre-move window when we needed him so that other work could be done on time as well. We ended up adding the shoe molding removal at the last consultation (he didn't recommend it at first), and he was fine with this change. The actual work had a little hitch because of the very high humidity while he was doing the various coats - drying was taking a long time, so the work went a day over (which ended up bumping completion to a Monday instead of Friday). Thankfully we had built in a little time to our other projects, and Vasile completed everything in time for our painter to come in next. He also was fine responding to texts during the work in order to keep us updated on his status. In terms of the finished product, while we don't have a lot of comparisons/experience in this area, everything looks great. The upstairs floors were pretty rough and now look brand new. Our painter said that Vasile took more care than the average flooring person with regards to the shoe molding, too (which she painted for us). There was a fine coating of dust afterwards, which it seems is to be expected with this process, and which we just cleaned up ourselves. Also, our movers put a big scratch in one of the bedroom's newly finished floors when they moved a heavy dresser. When I checked in Vasile to ask whether there was a way for us to buff out the scratch ourselves, he responded promptly and offered to come out again to take care of it, which he did. He also provided us with a scratch treatment kit for free at that point, along with recommendations for nearby stores for getting good protective pads for our furniture. In sum, it was a pretty painless process. Vasile's prices are good and he is very diligent and complete, and seems to genuinely take pride in his work and take the extra step to take care of his customers. And we're very happy with the finished product. We ended up deferring redoing the carpeted stairs until later on to save money and since the carpet seemed good to have for our toddler son, and we will contact Vasile again when we decide it's time to redo the stairs as well.

We got a quick and affordable estimate, timely updates with pictures of the progress, and high quality work. It is hard to tell that two different firms at different times refinished different floors. The workmen were polite, courteous, efficient, and completed the work on schedule

Vasile was punctual, professional, and had the best price quote by far! He worked with my busy work schedule and kept me updated via text with the progress of the floors. The floors look amazing! I am so happy with his work! Recommend to everyone who needs floors done.

Vasile (the owner of CV Hardwood Flooring) was very professional through out the whole process. He was very punctual to our meetings to the point of letting me know if he was running late. I would hire him again

They did very good work, filled in where a fireplace once was as well as many other repairs, none of which stand out. They left the house extremely clean.

We thought the floors were a total loss because of water damage. Vasile suggested a darker stain and voile just like new floors. Considering the floors are over 90 years old this was a feat. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will use his services again.

I needed my floors refinished shortly after moving to the area and they were able to accommodate my schedule. The work was performed and I was advised my painters could start work in 48 hours. I had two small issues: 1.) I had was the painters came out and caused minor damage to the floors due to the floors not properly curing according to what I was told by the flooring guy. 2) They left my tub messy and not cleaned (Bogdan's wife came out and cleaned it the next day, no questions asked). They came back out and fixed the repairs - the painter and my flooring guy will settle on a cost for having to come back out.

Vasile team was great. Professional, attention to details, clean and very knowledgeable. The sanded, and refinish about 2000 sqf. Vasile was always in contact and they performed the job on time.

Vasile's team removed the damaged floor and put in new sub floor and boards and it is now the only part of my wood floors that doesn't creak at all! They were professional, friendly, on time and had the best price out of the three quotes I got.

Vasile and his guys showed up on time, worked diligently, were courteous and extremely professional. Overall a great experience with a job that was more difficult then we initially imagined. He found matching baseboards and rebuilt wall trim trim that was damaged too - which was not an easy thing to do in our 1886 Victorian. He also patched the hallway where there was previously water damage and actually had the same type of wide planked pine that is present in our 130 year old home. The final product is so gorgeous and unique. We are so happy we salvaged the floors and had true professionals complete the job for us. Money well spent! Thank you Vasile!

I called CV hardwood flooring and they were unbelievably easy to deal with. I didn't bother with any other estimates and I made the right choice. Scheduling was easy and Vasile was super easy to work with and trustworthy. I have had lots of work done on my homes and it is such a pleasure (and a rarity) to have things go perfectly. The floors look great great great. I have done a bit of research into floor refinishing and they did it just right. Minimal dust. The baseboards came out fantastic too. So happy.

The job went great from start to finish, estimate through to completion!! Vasile and his team arrived the day of the job, they helped us move the heavy furniture to our garage, they prepped the floors (including filling in some gap areas), and performed the buff and recoat. The job took approximately 5-6 hours. They came back a few days later and helped us bring the furniture back into the house. Vasile also provided information on how to care for the floors. We are very pleased with the results!!

These guys were excellent! They were one of the few people I contacted from Angie’s List who came out to look at the floor before giving me a quote. Love their customer service. Others asked me to send area measurements and provided email quotes before seeing or discussing the job. Vasile came within the week, went over every detail with me, and gave me options for how I could approach the job to fit my budget. I hired him on the spot! This was a Friday. On the following Wednesday, he was back with his crew to start fixing patches and sanding. They put up plastic to keep dust from going into other rooms (although the work was virtually dust free) and got to work. They sanded the floors, provided sample stains on the floor to choose from, filled the floor and sanded again. They then stained the floors and came back on 2 consecutive days to polyurethane and finish off with the quarter round. The many cuts were done perfectly. The repairs are seamless and the floors are gorgeous. They haven’t been attended to in 30+ years because the rooms had been previously carpeted. The transformation is amazing. The crew were so polite, professional, and pleasant. The work and cleanup were immaculate and the communication was excellent throughout the process. They may have been the best “service providers” I have ever used!

The job went absolutely perfect! Vasile and his team did a great job on my daughter's condo wood floor. The job was managed with total professionalism from the time of the estimate through to completion of the work. They took a lot of time prepping the floor by filling holes and gaps. They then buffed the floor and vacuumed twice. Finally they applied a thorough coat of polyurethane. When my daughter saw the floor for the first timea few days later, she sent multiple photos to me and was extremely excited and pleased. Thanks Vasile and team!!

Everything went very well. Vasile showed up on time for the estimate appointment and gave us a written estimate before leaving our place. The estimate was detailed, very specific (with several options in case the floors turned out to be in bad shape once they were uncovered), and much lower than the other estimate we got from another contractor. We set a date to start but unfortunately had to reschedule, and he was very flexible and worked with us on a new time. He budgeted 2 to 3 days but finished everything in a day and a half, which was great. He and his team showed up on time, worked efficiently and thoroughly (no evidence of shortcuts). His employees were polite and professional. They sealed our cabinets to keep dust out and cleaned up thoroughly when they finished. Communication throughout the process was stellar -- lots of updates and texts, so there were no surprises or extra charges. Fortunately, the wood underneath the old flooring was in great shape, and Vasile and his team made it look amazing! They only had to replace 9 broken/damaged planks, and they blend seamlessly with the original floor -- you really can't tell them apart. I could not be happier. I have already recommended him to other people in my building and would definitely hire him again.

The floors are GORGEOUS and the work was done very quickly. We met with Vasile on 4/15 and explained we needed all of this done within two weeks before we were set to move into the house with our two young children. Vasile and his team worked around the clock to get this done for us. He was finished by 4/26. We are so happy with the results and highly recommend C V flooring. A very fair price for the amount and quality of work done too.

Vasile was prompt,courteous, and friendly. He even offered to help me move some of the heavier pieces of furniture. He answered all my questions and worked hard. I have refinished floors in the past, his experience and craftsmanship impressed me.

Vasile was incredible. We had another contractor that botched the floors, stripping them poorly then staining them way too dark. Vasile was able to come in, strip everything completely, restrain and seal them, giving us beautiful, like new floors. Additionally, there was one slat that was rotted out that he was able to seamlessly replace. He kept us fully apprised of each step of the process, and was able to work with the fact that it was February and cold, and that our initial contractor had done no venting we had issues with the fumes affecting the other tenants in our building. Vasile not only was very sensitive to this, he took the time to explain to the other tenants what they could expect, and we had no issues at all. Almost a year later our floors still look as good as new. I would recommend him and his company in the highest possible terms.
