Tom gave me a very reasonable quote on my house siding. He was very polite and patient answering my questions. I did not have to wait long before his crew started the work on my house. They were on time and did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend Buk Roofing to anyone who expects a professional work done.

The estimate was fair and he printed up a full report. When it came time to actually doing the repairs, however, we were told that they couldn't fit us in to their schedule. We had to find another roofer anyway.

It could not have gone better. Tom is VERY professional, and his crew was prompt and worked very hard. They were very well-organized, worked hard and were very tidy. After they left, one would never know that they had been there (except for the new roof) because they cleaned up after themselves so thoroughly.

They were responsive in terms of getting the work done. There was some weather issues so that was the delay. I was surprised by the price increase for the steepness but all the vendors have that.

Looked for roofers through Angie's List and found a deal with one which didn't work out because the roofer wanted more money due to the pitch of the roof. I was contacted by Donna from Angie's List who told me about another deal through BUK Roofing. The deal was for re-roofing the house only, and I understood the additional work would be extra. I went with the BUK Roofing deal and the next day I was contacted by Tom Borek from BUK. He came to the house and examined the roof and garage, made some recommendations that I agreed to, including the additional price for the garage work, which I felt was an honest price. The addition of the plywood decking on the garage was not expected, but a necessary cost for a secure roof. Tom was a pleasure to work with and I never felt pressured into signing the contract or buying something I didn't need. The work was begun on schedule and both roofs were completed in one day! The garage soffit and fascia was done the next day by one worker who finished the job in the late afternoon with a cold rain falling. Many of our neighbors commented on how quickly and professionally the work was done. I would recommend BUK Roofing without hesitation for a good price for quality work and great warranty.

Extremely well. In addition to inspecting the roof, they fixed a bunch of nail pops including ones where wind had lifted shingles. I would definitely recommend them.

We had new roof done three years ago. During a bad storm, a few of the shingles fell off. We tried various companies (when my husband saw someone doing a roof in neighborhood he asked if they could do this small job. Others said yes but were no shows. My husband found this company, called them, and they came when they said they would come, and not only did the small job that we needed but also checked all around to make sure there were no other loose shingles. We were extremely pleased.

Tom was responsive to my phone messages and emails. The job was completed prior to the estimated completion date. I'm extremely satisfied with the professionalism, the quality and the courtesy that was provided before, during and after our job. We interviewed several companies and called many more. I feel that during the entire process, Buk Roofing went out of their way to be honest and trustworthy. I also feel that they did a SUPER job on my new roof. I never thought I'd get excited about how a roof looks, but I'm really happy with the results. I hope to use Buk Roofing again next season to get new siding on my house and I have already recommended him to family and friends.

Good at first. Tom came out got on the roof said he would meet with insurance adjuster and negotiate to get me a new roof also wanted to know my deductible right away. He did meet with my adjuster but never came to an agreement on price because he was on the high side and could not justify what he was charging and when i wouldn't commit to him and sign a contract he stopped communication with me and the insurance adjuster so i found someone else from R.K roofing much better price.

Our roof was severely damaged during the high winds in late February 2016. I called six roofers from Angie’s List and only BUK roofing and one other company returned my call. BUK roofing came and provided me with an estimate. It appeared that our roof was repaired numerous times as in some spots there were six layers of roofing. BUK roofing also came out to confer with the insurance agent. Tom pointed out to the insurance agent all the weak areas caused by the winds and rain. Because Tom was so thorough and precise the agent agreed with Tom and we received a new roof. When we were speaking with Tom we felt very comfortable. He is very knowledgeable, prompt (which many people are not). He was a very professional individual. Tom and his crew were very punctual. He returned the phone calls promptly and answered all of our questions. His crew came by at 7:00 AM and finished around 7:30 PM. This was no small feat since it got dark by 6:30 PM. In order to get the job done in one day there were two crews who did the job. Everything was cleaned up afterwards and it was hard to tell that any work was even done, that is how clean the area was. In fact the entire dumpster was filled with roofing material. We WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend BUK Roofing to anybody. The job was perfect from beginning to end we are very satisfied with the work performed.. Tom is the best roofer in the Chicago area

Buk Roofing improved and restored my bungalow house in Des Plaines with insulation on dormers , shingles roof on house and garage with green IKO shingles(we love this green roof),gutters and vinyl siding as well, Tom helped me with insurance company to get it approved so we didn't pay any single dollar from our pocket.

Tom did a thorough job - repairing the top of the roof as well as sliding sides and the edges of the roof deck, sealing all openings and applying reflective paint. They run a professional business and the owner is always around and supervising every job. Thank you.

We had our re-roofing job done by Buk Roofing Company (owner name Tom). He responded quickly when I asked for a bid. We recently had a nasty leak that ran down the living room wall. They also checked my main roof to make sure there were no problems contributing to the leak on the deck and discovered a problem and fixed it immediately. They were extremely professional. It went very smooth and faster. Installers were very knowledgeable and professional. Replacement was done in a day without any mess. quality of materials was good and work was completed as planned. Tom did a great job on my roof. His crew arrived punctually, worked fast and accurate. Then they cleaned all the debris around the house. I checked the roof afterwards, everything looked great. Absolutely no complaints.
