We were totally satisfied.

They were very cooperative and they came the next day. We were very satisfied.

They were very prompt to come out and take care of it. They ordered a new part and I was really happy with them. Actually I made the purchase a year ago in December, they made the repair a month ago and the repair was under warranty. I was very happy about that. I bought a whole suite of appliances that included the washer, dyer, the filtering unit, stove, microwave hood and dishwasher. It was a good price for the repair. Probably I would use them in future.

I was satisfied with the services. I will use them again in the future.

Our 16 year old Maytag electric dryer had been making horrible shreaking, wailing sounds for several weeks. My wife suggested we call 'somebody' to see if it could be repaired; but I was convinced it needed to be replaced. She insisted, so I called Dick Van D*** Appliance World early in the day and was told that they could get somebody out to check it out later that same afternoon. The fellow called first, came, spent about an hour diagnosing and repairing the problem, charged about $130, cleaned up after himself, and left, saying that there was a 90 day warranty on parts and labor. I was astonished, and grateful. Good work, reasonably priced. Who could ask for more?

It went very well. Russell checked range; discovered it had a bad control panel. Called the company to discover the Kenmore no longer makes parts for this range. He instructed me on how I could still use the burners.

Purchase: First, the five year warranty widely advertised is only offered on the more expensive models. I found this misleading based on their advertisements. I bought a slightly used dryer and received several stories as to why it was returned by its previous owner; so either the sales staff didn't know why it was returned or they were merely making up stories. The sales person would not negotiate at all on prices of new or used appliances, which I thought was odd for a local store that claims to beat any price. Again, I found this misleading based on their advertisements. Delivery: I was told I would be given a two hour window for delivery. When I called the next day to verify, I was told it was a three hour window. When they called me the day of delivery, they gave me a four hour window. Why do they need a four hour window the day of delivery!? When the appliance was delivered, they found they ordered the wrong part and couldn't get another for several days. So they had to come back several days later, with another four hour window and do it all over again. Thus, they made me wait for them a second time after their mistake. This was very inconvenient and the sales person did not even apologize. Installation: The delivery men were professional and did a great job moving the appliance into the house without damaging anything. They were apologetic for not having the right part, but it wasn't really their fault. Unfortunately, they did not properly balance the dryer and also did not properly secure the dryer vent, which broke free from the dryer within a few dry cycles. I ended up fixing these things myself. In addition, the dryer drum began to make a screeching noise and I had to call the company to fix the problem. Though they came out right away and fixed the problem, it made me suspicious that they sold me a defective dryer. Overall, this was not a very smooth transaction that caused a lot of unecessary grief. I can't believe something so simple resulted in so many problems. .

I was very pleased with the product and service. A 5 year warranty comes with each product at no additional charge. The delivery/installer was punctual, courteous, and knowledgeable. I had to call shortly after opening in the morning in order to get a "window" for delivery time, but that was no problem. I am planning on getting a refrigerator, stove, and microwave range hood in the near future, and the installer was able to give me tips to make that process easier. Appliance World has a huge selection from which to choose and are willing to hold an order for you almost indefinitely.
