They inspected the roof and were able to explain the overall condition of the roof. It went very well. He called and said he may be late, but he still arrived on time. He was up on the roof and came down with pictures and explained what he found and did. He was very professional and thorough.

I contacted Progressive Roofing based upon an Angie's List deal for a $5,900 roof replacement. The deal came with certain restrictions and I called Progressive Roofing for clarification. The representative on the phone asked for our address so that they could Google map the location and see the height of our house was and style/pitch of the roof. When it was clear that our house did not meet the requirements for the deal, they offered to still come and do a free estimate. I was amenable to the idea and scheduled for Saturday March 21 at 10:00 AM. The representative arrived to keep the appointment for the free estimate and was friendly and forthcoming. However, he came with no ladders or equipment to actually go on to the roof to conduct the estimate. The representative told me they were working on a job nearby and he could quickly go and get ladders and an assistant. I let him know we would be leaving soon and would be gone most of the day but could leave the gate unlocked. He said that would not be necessary, as he would be back shortly. He said that he would call or text me in 20 to 30 minutes to let me know what time would return THAT day. IT is currently 7:00PM on Monday the 23rd and there has been absolutely no contact (call, text, email) from anyone at Progressive Roofing. I know they have my correct number because he called it Saturday to say he was running late. This is also after he and I spoke at length about how difficult it is to get work done within the city of Chicago. Companies are either a no call & no show for appointments or, as in this case, they keep the appointment but arrive without proper if any equipment. I still have the business card I was given by Progressive Roofing but I should not have to chase down the work. This is very unprofessional and I cannot recommend Progressive Roofing.

I had a 1:00 pm appointment and the company showed up at 1:35 which was fine cause I was home. The company gave me pictures of before and after the repair was done. I have a brown roof and the company put white caulking around the skylight and on top of any nail heads. I told them that my husband was not going to be happy. They explained why they didn't do some services. My husband called and left messages for the owner to have the issues resolved. We have as of yet not heard anything back.

He went up on the roof and informed me that it was ok for now.

Arturo is excellent. He was professional, and explained everything happening with our roof. He was thorough, inspected inside and out, and was honest in his assessment. The price was fair, and was more than worth the peace of mind knowing the condition of our roof. I strongly recommend him.

The service went very, very well. They actually came while we were out, but they had access to the roof. Oscar was the lead guy on the job, and he took pictures of everything they did and showed them to me. He also explained everything they did, and we no longer have any leaks.

Arturo and his crew were very professional. Work stayed on task and on point. They were very responsive to all my inquiries and concerns. Price was great. They were always on time. I would definately use them again and I high recumbent them.

Just because of my scheduling, we didn't use them. However, they were very responsive.

Arturo was very responsive. He was knowledgeable and gave me a fair quote. The work was completed as agreed.

The provider arrived in a timely fashion. Inspection was performed. Issues were discussed surrounding leaking issues with roof. Photographs were taken and promise of written report were discussed. i had to contact provider several times in order to get written report. I was not entirely satisfied with the report.

Requested a quote months back for this project, but then life and a new baby got in the way. Finally dug up the quote, called Arturo and he scheduled us and honored his original quote. They were on time, friendly and professional. Completed the job in two days. Looks good. As I said before, they did some add on work not included in the original quote that he thought would cost about $800. Arturo said it didn't turn out to be that much work and only charged us $400 for the additional work. That isn't something I think you'd find many places. Considering them for a porch project as well now. I'd recommend them without reservation.

The project went very well. Rainy weather forced the project back a few days, but the day it cleared up the crew arrived and got to work. The project went smoothly, and the crew was careful, but efficient. The clean up was thorough and they did everything that was agreed upon, while staying in regular communication about progress and timeline. A lot of effort (and anxiety) went into researching companies and getting bids, and the pricing, responsiveness, and professionalism varied greatly across companies. The choice to go with Progressive was a mixture of affordability, balance of professional expertise/personal interaction when explaining estimate, and the evaluation of previous reviews. Arturo and his crew did a great job. Very satisfied and highly recommended

Arturo and his team were great. Arturo was super nice, thoughtful, responsive, and efficient. His team worked on our roof in mid-February in the bitter cold (sub-zero) to fix the flashing around our chimney that was causing a leak in our house. Pricing seemed reasonable given the work they performed. We've been dry since. Would definitely recommend.

Person came to do this job was very polite and hard working and very friendly. He inspected complete roof and did small fixes like some of the singles were lifting from corners. He also fixed one of the area of gutter which was coming loose he fixed it. I appreciate his professiolism and the way he did this job. He filfilled the purpose and I certainly recommend his work.

Arturo and his crew are awesome and I highly recommend them. They did a fantastic job with our back porch roof. The porch itself is a very unique structure and the roof was a mess with big holes it in. I had another roofer over for an estimate and they freaked out and declined the job. But Arturo and his company were totally ready and able to take on the job. They job was completed in 2 days. The crew was on time, polite and did a wonderful job. They picked up every piece of debris before they left the job. The yard was so clean that I didn't even have to worry about my dog getting into any scraps or nails. I highly recommend Progressive Roofing. I will for sure call them when we need our house roof done. Thanks guys!

The team was scheduled to start on Thursday and complete by Friday, with Saturday for any miscellaneous issues remaining. Due to equipment issues, the team could not start until Friday. The team worked all day Friday and Saturday to get the job completed. However, a significant amount of work remained. With a storm predicted for early the next week, Oscar and his team worked all day Sunday and into the night (10pm!) to get the gutters completed. Oscar and his team were on time and even early. They worked diligently and cleaned up all messes. He was responsive to phone and text messages and worked around our schedule, when needed. Throughout the job, he would keep us informed of progress and provided solutions to any issues that he encountered. Once the job was completed, he walked the house with us to make sure we were completely satisfied and no issues remained.

Everything turned out well. The crew was knowledgeable and professional, and they seem to have done a thorough job with the roof.

They were good. They were here 30 minutes to an 1 hour. There were no additional fees associated with the deal. They recommended a new roof in the next few years.

This spring we noticed that shngles were missing/damaged on the top most portion of our house, so I called 3 different companies to get 3 quotes since I know that roof repair/maintenance can be expensive. To start with, I called Progressive to see if I should buy their "special" deal on Angie's List for the repair quote, but they said no, that they come out and do that for free. Oscar came out in a timely manner, climbed on my roof to inspect it, showed me photos of the disintegrated shingles and told me he would email me with a proposal. Progressive was the cheapest proposal, and while I usually don't go by the cheapest estimate alone, I felt comfortable giving them the work. We did have to delay the job several times before it actually started, due to my schedule and the weather and their business with other jobs, but Oscar was always very prompt with emailing or calling me to let me know - he even called the day he was coming out just to let me know that he was on the way. The job took 5 days from start to finish and all the workers were prompt, professional and all business. They complied with all village ordinances and were careful not to work past the designated stop time each day; this made the neighbors very happy. They were careful with all our landscaping around our house. I would definitely recommend them.

I signed up for the "big deal" to get a check up and fix a couple of areas with prior problems. I was encouraged that they were responsive and set up the time within a week. However, when Oscar arrived I should have expected how poorly things were going to go. A roofer who came to inspect a roof didn't have a ladder. He shows up without a ladder even though I mentioned I had a steep (which he assured me was not a problem on the phone). So I give him a ladder to reach the lower part of my roof and he does a little caulking and hits me up with a potential vent problem that he recommended getting fixed. I mentioned that I might need a gutter replaced and if the price was right, we could make something work for both of us. He said he needed to prepare an estimate and would email me back an estimate the following week. Well friends, that's been over two months since Oscar came to my house in mid June and promised to send the estimate the first time. I have called him several times and caught him on 8/1 when he promised to get me the estimate that night. It's now mid August (8/14) and I have no estimate in my inbox (to the email I verified with him). I've tried reaching out a couple times to the company via Angies List email and no reply. I get the excuse they're busy, but so am I and I wasn't the one promising that the estimate would be sent. At this point I feel that I spent $99 and didn't receive the service I was promised and have been treated unprofessionally despite many opportunities for Oscar and Arturo to respond to my calls and emails. Your experience my vary, but this was my experience with Progressive Roofing.

It went great. I put N/A for the quality since I cant get on the roof to inspect it.

Arrived as scheduled, completed job as promised. They did miss one spot that was to be repaired. I called back and Arturo had someone follow up and make the repair. He also made one additional repair at no cost. I was very pleased with the work completed and would certainly use their services again.

He arrived in a timely fashion inspected the roof and replaced the blown off shingles. He was very friendly and professional.

They were great at getting the job done, easy to talk to and honest about the whole project.
