Ray was courteous, punctual and also detailed in his inspection of my roof. While his inspection indicates it is time for a new roof, he performed the tune-up as specified by the service and even returned later in the day to patch a hole in the far corner for a nominal charge. I am very satisfied with the service Ray performed; however I do feel an inspection and tune-up should include an inspection report documenting what was found, what was done and any recommendations. I suggest this be added to the service.

It went well. Arturo was very professional. After he diagnosed the problem and found where the leak was coming in, he promptly sent us a competitive quote to remedy the situation. The work was done a week later when I was away from the house.

I have no idea how it went as Ray is supposed to provide assessment report with details as part of the deal from Angie's List. I never got his report even when I followed up with Trudy. I think this provider is just looking for sureball major projects.

He inspected my roof and told me how the leak may have happened and fixed it. Im happy because its not merely inspection but did some repairs because some companies I've chosen did only inspection and no repairs done.

Very happy with the results of our appointment. We received a full explanation upon arrival of everything he planned to do during his visit. He spent ~ 30 minutes on the roof taking photos and doing some minor repairs. When he was finished, we recieved a full description of what was done, including photos of problem areas that were corrected or needed to be repaired in the future.

Representative from Progressive was responsive and very friendly. He took the time to understand the issue we were experiencing (intermittent leaks) and developed an inspection plan and then performed the repairs that he thought were needed.

Overall roof was inspected....several nail "pops" were noted and fixed........shingles in suspect area were found to be loose( approximately 5 foot square area) so these were resealed.......broken single was discovered and reattached. Only time and more rain will tell if original problem has been solved but overall we were very pleased with the service provided by this company and Ray Fern in particular. We were also very pleased with the receptionist who took our phone call and confirmed our appointment....so polite and professional. She made us feel like we made the right choice in going with this company.

he pounded in and sealed a bunch of nails that had come loose and sealed around a vent stack that may have been leaking he also nailed down some shingles that had come loose.he said that our roof was good for several more years I was leery of what he was going to do but speaking with him after he was done I felt the he was very honest with the work he preformed

I purchased the 99.00 roof inspection from Angie's list. Trudy, the receptionist was helpful in getting me scheduled as my schedule is very hectic. Ray, the field manager arrived on time & he was very nice. I showed him a couple of places on the roof that I had concerns with. He inspected the roof, nailed down some shingles, caulked in a few places, and took pictures of my stack & told me that it was rotted & I should get it taken care of in the next few months before it started leaking. He said that would cost around $425. There was also a rotted spot on my roof that needed to be fixed. The reason for my B rating is even though Ray was nice he did tell me he was not a roofer. I would have preferred an actual roofer (Arturo) instead to do the inspection & give me a written quote on what needed to be done. I feel that now I need to start again to be sure nothing was missed. I'm not sure at this point whether I would hire them to do the work. Update to response: Before you respond to a review you need to thoroughly read it. I didn't DESCRIBE Ray as not being a roofer. When I was asking him questions, HE is the one that kept telling me he wasn't a roofer & that he used to be an insurance adjuster. Also, there is NOWHERE in my review where I said that payment was demanded from me. I said I would have liked a written quote. In viewing your response I have changed my opinion & my review.

Progressive contacted me after the purchase of the deal very quickly. Communication gets fuzzy though the Angie's List message system as there seems to be a gap between what Angie's List provides the contractors and what information the contractors actually need. I have had this same problem after purchasing other deals and hopes that Angie's List will rectify this problem. Progressive came out to do the "tune up" and give me an estimate for the repair of the hole. I was supposed to get pictures and a proposal for the repairs, but instead just got a phone call with the price. Since we needed the hole fixed, we set up a date. They came out much sooner than expected, but kept demanding the payment which felt odd. The service address was at a rental property a block away from my residence so I ran the check over. The crew was on site and the work was completed. I still have not received any kind of proposal or receipt of work done.

Oscar was very communicative about his time of arrival, what he would be doing, and future work that needed to be done. I would definitely work with this company in the future!

I contacted Progressive after finding water coming into a ceiling in my house. I told them I was going to buy the current Angies List 'Deal' for roof maint and Arturo told me to hold off until he comes to give me a free estimate. He told me that what I need may not be covered by that offering. Upon coming for the estimate, Arturo was extremely professional. He offered to take his shoes off without being prompted, and proceeded to check out the problem area. After about 10 minutes he found the problem, and resolved it for much less than it would have cost me if I had just purchased the Angies List deal. He knows his stuff and has a great way of conducting himself. We highly recommend them and may have them back out in a few years when we need to completely redo our roof. (He gave a free quote for that while here as well).

Arturo Chavez is very professional and quick to respond. His prices were fair and his crew was ready to quickly and efficiently get the job done.

Our serviceman Oscar did an excellent job. He arrived early due to the fact that he was already on the neighborhood. First he spoke with us about what he was going to look for and do. He hammered quite a while on top of our roof securing tiles that had puffed up from weather and wear and tear. He was honest and very informative and telling us what to look for in the future. I just happened to see this special on Angie's list and wanted to have our roof looked at although we were having no problems. We were told that we needed our chimney tuck pointed but he saw no immediate problems with it. I would highly recommend this company and Oscar to anyone needing honest roofing work.

Pleasant - on time - appeared knowledgeable. Went on roof took a couple of pix - showed me pix and said I had hail damage. They said I had nails popping up and they hammered them all down, but I never heard any banging or nailing? They recommended an independent adjustor for an insurance claim. My insurance company came out and said I did not have any damage and did I want to cancel the claim (they have strict rules about making false claims but they agreed to cancel the claim request due to the fact that I cannot get on the roof to check what Progressive told me. Insurance adjuster also told me that I had a lot of nails popping out and I ought to get someone to nail them back in. Apparently Progressive didn't push them back down. Progressive got $100 for very little (if any) work and they referred their independent adjuster to me so he got business as well. Waste of money. Cindy Webb

Mr. Ray Fern arrived at our home on June 3rd to do the $99 Angie's List special inspection. Ray nailed any loose shingles, caulked around our chimney where there were cracks, and sealed around nails. He was great and we really liked him. Our roof was looking good, otherwise, and we plan to have him back to check up on our roof in the fall, heading for winter.

Since all the work was on the roof - I was not able to see the actual work. But Oscar did show me the old flashings and explained what was done to fix the issue. One major note: Ensure that you receive a invoice with the agreed upon cost on it and a receipt once services are provided. I am still waiting for mine!!!

It went very well. While no leaks were found, worn areas were noted and photographed on a smartphone and everything was explained to me in detail. It was also noted that I probably wouldn't need a new roof for 7 to 8 years.

The inspector came and checked my roof. He took pictures and explained all the damage that I had. He was very patient explaining what was needed and the best route to take for repairs.

Inspected roof and showed pictures of any noteworthy issues. Arrived on time. seem to be knowledgable about roofs. Was happy with the service .

For what I can see the minor repairs looks good.

Arturo said that the roof didn't need any attention but that the flanges on gutters on the detached garage had bent up. He suggested that the hard winter had damaged them but also suggested that I wait til mid summer to see if the fasteners went back down.

He got up on my roof and inspected all the usually trouble areas. He took before and after pictures to show me what the problem was and what it looked like after he caulked. He caulked the corners of my roof as there were slight cracks from the bend in the shingles and put back some small pieces of shingle that were cracked and started to pull away. He caulked those back in place. All in all he said my roof was in good shape. recommended a yearly inspection just to keep any little problems from becoming bigger. And of course to call them if there are any leaks that appear. He explanations were detailed and I always felt like I knew what was going on. All in all satisfied with my roof inspection.
